I feel as though Russia has weathered all of the sanctions well. Any sanctions have only hurt Europe. Maybe that simply is the plan after all.

Overall, Russia has been pretty consistent throughout the war and hasn't really changed its approached. The only change I'm aware was when they revised the nuclear weapons doctrine which would now make it more likely that European Nato states get hit.

Sure, the European, and especially German, economy has been wrecked. But it doesn't mean that Russian economy didn't take any hits, nor that it's impregnable. I can think on the spot, of two ways to apply additional economic pressure on Russia. First, go after intermediaries (both countries and companies) which facilitate Russian international trade. Second, increase oil and gas production to drive down the prices and cut into Russian revenue streams. Russia won't collapse because of this, and I'm sure they'll find ways to circumvent any new sanctions, but it will come at a price of increased operating costs and decreased profits.

That's exactly why Trump wants to drill. We need to tap into cheaper extraction points so that we don't need to rely on fracking.

It takes years to drill new oil wells so its not going to happen for a while. Certainly nothing that will affect the course of oil prices in the next year or two.

No, that excuse has been used in the past to explain how the US can't just pump it's way out of a supply shortage. Except that when Trump removed restrictions during his first term, and US production reached 100% of domestic usage fairly quickly.

I think in fact they know where they would like to drill if the leftist fake climate crisis government bureaucrats will let them, and given half a chance they can have oil coming up and reaching market in a matter of months.
 
Let's see what Pres. Trump does this time with projects like Keystone XL. Canada has tons of oil, tarsands, etc...and some retarded environmental laws.

What you say is partially true, but there is a limit to this. You can quickly expand production on existing wells or restart mothballed oil wells but to actually pump oil from a completely new well it takes years to do exploration, feasibility studies, organize financing and start production, etc.

You're neglecting the aspect that the price of oil is largely based on speculation.

Big oil already knows where the good oil is. They know which spots are feasible, they have funding, etc. Everything in the oil industry is held up by politics and nothing else.

Jokes aside. Most of the military aid funds remained in the States to: replenish depleted stockpiles, finance all support operations (logistics, intel, comms, etc.) and last but not least, feed the DC blob. So it's not surprising that Zelensky didn't get all that cash, but it's still hilarious to watch how flustered he is - like he's afraid that someone might come knocking on his door and asking for the money.

Looking how the British military was responsible for the most reckless ukrainian operations like commando raids on the Kinburn and Crimean peninsulas, or the Krynki bridgehead - I feel sorry for every military age ukrainian left.
