Yea if he doesn't accept, both the US and Russia will quickly partition the Ukraine and force it surrender. The EU can continue to finance this nonsense at its own demise. Although it sounds extreme, nothing is stopping Russia or the US from partitioning the EU either. So it's in their best interest to not get involved in this nonsense. Let the geopolitically relevant do their thing.
 
As a follower of Western European news outlets and discussion forums, I can honestly say that it is impossible to overstate how irrational and borderline psychotic the reaction to a possible peace deal in Ukraine is.

When the war started, all the accumulated psychosis and madness that had surrounded "covid" was immediately transferred to Ukraine. It was the perfect normie foil. The same people who had been demaning that society be shut down forever, now instead focused their insanity on supporting Ukraine at any cost.

But now they have nothing. It is 5 years worth of pent-up hysteria that there no longer is any outlet for.

There are those hundreds of thousands of dead and maimed Ukrainian guys of course, but none of these people who want the war to go on forever seem to ever think much of them. They don't seem too keen on volunteering for the Ukrainian foreign legion themselves either.

Indeed. They think they will win the war for Ukraine if they only write "SLAVA UKRAINI" and "FUCK PUTIN" enough times.

We recall that the security of the European continent is our common responsibility. We are therefore working together to strengthen our collective defence capabilities.

Note the sniveling fear in the tone now that the USA is leaving. Reminds me a bit of when the emperor Honorius informed the Britons that Rome could no longer protect them and they were on their own in 410 AD.

I'm okay with the Ukrainians staying as long as they issue a public deposition denouncing the Zelensky regime and affirming their support for the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Also, they must sign a legally binding contract vowing never to vote for a Democrat. More White immigration is never a bad thing.
