Looks like they targeted the nuclear program and family homes of top Iranian officials
It´s not just Iran. The alliances and the possibility of more countries participating leading to an escalation with Russia and China. It's surprising how much rubble a small nation in the middle east can create.
Is there any good non-corporate live youtube/rumble news stream?
From Israeli sources, the decapitation strike hit:
The Chief of Staff - Bagheri
The Commander of the Revolutionary Guards - Salami
Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council - Samchani
Scientists.
Also preliminary reports indicate that the nuclear facilities at Natanz were indeed hit. Most of the essential stuff is deep underground though, so not sure how much actual damage has been done

It doesn't look like much. It's early on so caveats apply, but unless there's more footage coming it doesn't look like airstrikes. No signs of air defense working, no videos of explosions - especially no secondary explosions which would happen if air defense systems were hit. It looks more like some form of sabotage. Maybe drones launched from within Iran, maybe bombs planted under someone's bed. The usual Israeli shenanigans.

Supposedly Israel needs US bombers to make real damage.Russia too busy in Ukraine, and China focused on their US trade negotiations, but they would start getting more concerned if Israel attacks Iran's oil facilities.
One thing to look for here is whether Israel is able to get its planes through, or if they're being limited to beeper-style sabotage operations, which won't do much in the big picture. They're probably using their submarines to launch cruise or ballistic missiles, which could hit a few valuable targets but don't have the volume.
Also, chances are the Iranians are assembling their first batch of nukes right now.
The Persian air defenses are doing wonders so far.One thing to look for here is whether Israel is able to get its planes through
