I think it's true that Russia has some problems with Muzzies. The Russian empire went to the trouble of conquering the various Muslim territories that ended up being part of the Russian Empire, the USSR, and now the Russian Federation. Now they are stuck with these areas.
Putin has chosen to present the Russian Federation as a government that will give them freedom of religion.
It is true that muzzies gonna muz. Russia does have some problems with Islamic extremism and murderous terrorism.
However, what is Putin going to do differently than what he is? Slaughter them? That's really not a viable choice, and I think most would agree it's not really moral to do so.
He has to offer religious freedom, and then respond harshly to any religious based violence. I'd say that's what he's trying to do, without inflaming tensions and making things worse. Once you arrive at this conclusion, any nitpicking really is just arm chair quarterbacking.

How about talking about events in 2024? Right now, Muslims are dying in big numbers for Russia in the Ukrainian war, even higher proportionally relative to the rest of White Russia.

Dagestan was always a shithole, an Orthodox priest had his throat slit in this attack. There are allegedly 40 hostages locked up in an Orthodox church in the Kirovsky district of Russia and Islamic radicals threaten to behead them. Links below:

There is little wrong with a Christian allying with a Muslim, it has benefitted both peoples in the past, but their territories should not overlap in the long run. Parallel societies is the only way this will last.
The 40 hostages business turned out to be a false rumor, thank God. There is currently no information of any Orthodox deaths except for the one priest, maybe 2 because there was also the security guard at the church but there's no information about if he was Orthodox or just a local Muslim who was hired.

Exactly right, because it has nothing to do with religions and everything to do with Muslims vying for power within their world. It's common as rain and I would detail many such instances throughout history but I do not want to derail the thread. Just look at Islamic empires on Wikipedia, there are no shortage of examples.
