Alex Jones Thread

The youngest Baby Boomer was born in 1964, and turns 60 this year.

AJ, according to Wikipedia was born in 1974, and will turn 50 this year. Childhood in late 70s, through the 80s is peak Gen X.

Despite Gen-X being an apparent blip between the well-monied and huge white boomer monolith and the debt-burdened and overeducated diversified millennials, there seems to be a huge gulf between Gen-X men* who bought property before the late Clinton - early Blair era and those who left university after the dot.com crash, 9/11 and perhaps the 2008 crash.

I am of the latter half of Gen-X and my peers who are a little older or who bought property instead of going to university are close to retirement. They were forming families like boomers while I was learning PUA. So I see myself closer to the over-educated millennial who has experienced UK wage stagnation since the 2008 crash.

AJ seems to be well and truly a boomer Gen-Xer - maybe the Texas oil thing has allowed boomer prosperity and "Semitephilia" to linger for longer.

*I mention Gen-X men as Gen-X women may have had a better start to their careers because boomer men passed diversity laws and preferred to hire and promote younger women to work with them.

Understood. I know the difference.

What I wrote... "If it looks like a boomer, behaves like a boomer, and talks like a boomer, then it's a boomer. What's a couple of years amongst friends?"... was a joke (although quite obviously, not a very good one).

Alex sounds and behaves like a boomer (especially with regards to the Brother Nat "interview"), so calling him a "boomer" while knowing he's not is kinda funny (at least to me it is).

8He just looks like one, looks older than his age (49).
That's for sure. As I'm sure many on here are aware, back on RVF 1.0 we use to discuss this thing called "congruency" in relationship to dealing with women. Have you ever been to the gym and seen a "trainer" with a big gut coaching someone through an ab routine? Something doesn't seem right, it isn't congruent. The same goes for Alex. Something is "off." He pushes all these supplements and health advice (physical, mental, and spiritual) yet he physically looks as if he's on deaths door, and he sometimes comes across as being emotionally unstable. The look on Alex's face when Brother Nat started talking about Hitler was priceless (it should be a meme). Alex hung his head in deep exasperation. Alex also got very angry with Brother Nat when he mentioned Alex's "supplement" business. That was basically the beginning of the end of the interview because Alex can't stand criticism or descent. He always derails and/or ends interviews when things aren't going his way (which is very immature).

Again, I like Alex and he's definitely helped me through the years in various ways, so I'm not hating on him, I'm just praying that he gets fully redpilled on the JQ (not likely given his choice in women). We could really use Alex in this fight.

Incredible, Alex is really looking bad here. He won't even let this brilliant man (never heard of him before) even finish his thoughts without complete derails, and yet he is still slaying it on the JQ. Alex is a full blown JQ denialist. Sad.

I think Alex is so set in his ways and has been The Boss for so long that he really can't take other people in if they don't fit directly into his ideas and narratives. He is a horrible listener and interviewer when he gets out of his comfort zone. As a result, instead of asking follow up questions on The Brother's profound insights and statements he just blows past them and changes the subject.
I’ve never seen Alex win a debate with someone right-of-center. This video reminded me of his debate with David Duke, which made Alex look even worse than this one did.

Re his physical appearance:

In his defense... He was in pretty good shape for most of his career. He used to actually be pretty jacked.

His post Sandy Hook trials/divorce/banning have resulted in some clear alcoholism.

Let's be wholistic about the criticism please...I doubt most of us would hold up very well given the stress.

Not if he's really Bill Hicks lol

"Controlled Opposition Pysop Alex Jones is really Bill Hicks"

For as out there as this gets, the guy is spot on with the biometric analysis.

Yeah nah. He surely looks similar (not the same) and they probably have similar heritage but his voice is different.

Good stuff from early conspiracy stuff though.

Yeah that's the odd thing, like he'll bring on people like Ye/Fuentes and Brother Nathaniel and then like, kinda try to deflect and shut them down and do the whole classical liberal "not all Jews" shtick, but he's still having them on and promoting them to all his viewers and he has to know that they're gonna be dropping JQ bombs. I'd like to give him the credit of trying to play both sides by quasi-gatekeeping while lowkey promoting these guys, but him removing the interview speaks to the contrary. God bless him but for Jones the line will always be drawn in front of discussing organized Jewry.

I never thought of this. It's actually kind of brilliant.

So you have a massive media platform that you've invested years into, but, along the way you were told you can't talk about Bagels. You can talk about fish, celery, Ketchup, eggs, but no matter what you cannot talk about Bagels. So what do you do? You bring on guests to talk about Bagels, while you pretend to be outraged and disgusted by their talk about Bagels. But now your audience knows about Bagels! 😎

Yeah, I mentioned it in another thread, it's actually great. He can put it all in his portfolio, and go "I have been debating and arguing against antisemites more than anyone" while at the same time keeping his title as a free speech absolutist.

It would be very big of him to do this consciously, because he catches so much flak from all sides. But given his stances on Israel in the early 2000s, I think it's within the realm of the possible.

We have to remember that people who talk about Jews from a sober, nationalist, Christian perspective can't make money. Andrew Anglin, according to his own statements, basically lives off a student's allowance, and Nick Fuentes also mentioned that he runs his site at a loss.

AJ does seem to be a true bro, for what it's worth. I've never met him, but I've seen him interact with others over the years and he appears to have that particular German phenotype that likes to stand with his friends loudly and boldly (and drunkenly, but still).

Your post is making me hungry!

Yeah, I mentioned it in another thread, it's actually great. He can put it all in his portfolio, and go "I have been debating and arguing against countersemites more than anyone" while at the same time keeping his title as a free speech absolutist.

I was thinking about this as I have been looking deeply into myself and watching all my behaviors and trying to suss out motivations that may be unknown to me. At this moment I can say that the unconscious is a very sneaky machine. Considering all that Jones knows, it is utterly impossible for him to not know about the JQ. Absolutely impossible. So, considering that his life has been one of Illuminating truths, it must cause an awful lot of cognitive dissonance to know what he knows. Consciously he may actually have to believe what he's saying, however, unconsciously his soul rebels and we have guests like Brother Nathaniel. Cognitive dissonance is a beast, I've watched sexual abuse survivors defend their perpetrators because the truth of the betrayal is just too painful to acknowledge. This kind of dissonance causes a lot of psychological stress, perhaps this is why Alex looks the way he does lately.
Your post is making me hungry!

I'm a bagel snob, the perfect bagel has a definite crust to a doughy inside, proportion. When you bite into it, it is chewy. They have to be cooked in a fireplace oven and hand-rolled. Take a fresh bagel and scoop up some soft Philadelphia Cream Cheese, oh man.

NEXT!

The things that brother Nathaniel says in this video are absolutely vile and disgusting. They're completely outrageous, whatever you do, don't watch this. Total and utter garbage. It is absolutely incredible that this horrifying monster ( "Brother" Nathaniel ) is even given a platform to spew his vomit on. Trust me, ignore this. It is total and absolute falsifiable garbage.

I have a similar experience as a boomer. I was learning to read a clock and tie my shoes around the time the other boomers were doing the Woodstock festival. I don't really identify with them very strongly.

Boomer has become a term to denote someone that isn't versed in the difficulties of modern life, the break down of society. The boomer blueprint for a normal life has died. Now there isn't much keeping younger gens on track. Even if you follows boomer advice, it might not work for you.

Alex Jones is a boomer, not because of his age, but because all of his ideas are out of date and don't work anymore. He's still living in the Hulk Hogan - I am a real American world. When that world no longer exists.

I support everything you said here.

But....

I want to live in the Hulk Hogan era.

Can't I at least pretend ;)
