"Why do you think it's appropriate to weigh in on the racial identity of your opponent?"

Answer: because she's a fraud who is playing race politics.
Yep. That would have been the best answer.

But it's a lose lose either way.

But it doesn't matter as soon as she starts talking she just meanders. As Trump said "see spot run" is her plan.

Good grief, Trump completely bombed this question on healthcare. By far his worst response of the night. Kamala much more polished in contrast. At this point I can safely say that this debate is going to be spun as a massive Kamala win in the media, which is all she needed. She's had a lot of tightly focused soundbite answers while Trump is mostly rambling all over the place.

We already knew she was going to get a laudatory salute from the media.

The truth is this debate isn't going to change anyone's mind like the Biden one did.

She's doing fairly well in not melting down, but I am not sure that was really something Trump needed.

He just needs to keep the generally good answers up and appeal to the base, which is what he's done so far.

Trump admitting he doesn't yet have a healthcare plan will be used against him through soundbites and media clips. However, Kamala’s laughter at his comment about Haitians eating cats will also hurt her, especially since it's happening Ohio, a crucial swing state.
On the scale of the immediate concerns....if you believe those actually matter....

Obama care is a like percent issue.

Economy
War
Immigration
Crime
Borders

Those are all the issue than the immediate voting population cares about.

Is it just me or did Trump perform quite badly? I thought he talked around a lot of things, sounded very old fashioned. He's been kissing up to Israel for so long, that he just didn't seem to be speaking to the interests of the people who need him the most - working class whites. Just kept talking about other countries and America's global influence.

I could never stand listening to more than 17 seconds of Kamala previously- had never really heard her talk. I was kind of surprised at how prepared she was, and how unintimidated she was by Trump. She was quite composed.

I've moved on from politics in recent months, but that was just my observation watching it.

Soy boy because I'm not twisting what I saw, and what others on here saw as well? Sorry buddy, I'm no suckass @Dusty

I'm in Aus anyway, but never said I'd vote for her. I wouldn't.

The only thing she'll succeed at is accelerating the decline, which is probably the only option for eventual change.
