2024 Election Lounge

If Trump and his team are in total and unconditional support of Zionists and Israel, how come the majority of forum members support him as a vital candidate for this year’s election?
I can't speak for others but I'm voting for Trump because he will say outrageous, insulting, "racist," and "sexist" things that will cause my enemies (illegal immigrants, trannies, liberal ADL jews, OnlyFans "models," faggots, Gen Z feminist carousel riders, etc.) to melt down. This will be funny and aid in my enjoyment of our inevitable decline. A Trump win will also act as a personal pressure release valve which will keep me from joining a militia and doing something stupid.

Great points given what cards we’ve been dealt with. Fair enough!

Even if Trump did nothing more than make our enemies angry, it's still a win because anger causes people to make mistakes. For example, their anger unleashed COVID, which was probably rushed as a project to society just to get rid of Trump.

They always wanted to do a slow, boil the frog kind of thing on the Whites. But Trump enraged the chews so much, they went nuclear and unleashed COVID. COVID in turn has ruined too many people's lives, and there are far too many dissidents now for them to control or gatekeep.

Trump Derangement Syndrome has worked in our favor, because it forced their mask to come off. Now they are facing revolt, of which J6 represented most clearly.

Keep in mind betting odds also factor in what bookmakers believe the betting public will bet on as much as who they believe will win. The hype or which side the money is on matters just as much as who they believe will win.

I could be wrong, but I was thinking the current odds are determined by the number of wagers.

If people start mostly putting money down that Nikki Haley wins the presidency, then the bookmakers adjust the odds to reflect this, and if she did in fact win you’d win more money if you put money down early if your guy wins, and you bet when the odds were garbage

As a European I need someone to explain to me the weird culture of US Politics.

For example DeSantis is probably the most Pro-Life candidate in the race right now. But is it not hypocrisy that he supports contraception? I just don't get how this is not deemed a scandal:

Also I see how a candidates height is a big deal in America. In Europe nobody cares if Leaders are tall or short as long as they get the job done.

Putin, Macron, Various British PM's & other leaders have been short.

Thanks

Haley has zero chance to be the GOP nominee

Chances are it's 95% Trump & if he is imprisoned then DeSantis will be the nominee.

However I cant see that happening without some sort of peoples revolt if Trump is imprisoned?

The GOP today basically is MAGA & Tea Party. The Neo Cons that Haley works for have pretty much defected to the Democrats in 2020

Oh I agree(of course Haley has no shot at winning anything in the real world but we are in clown world.). If the fix is in she could win. It was odd in 2020 the way all of the democrats suddenly dropped out of the race and endorsed Biden at Super Tuesday. The same could happen this year

You are right, the majority of the kind of people like Haley who want limitless American militarism against Russia and robust support for Israel are Democrats now. There are some Republicans left over like that, but their numbers are not very large. That's why Haley never gets above something like 15-17% support in Republican primary polls. If you throw in the 3-4% or so who supported similar characters like Chris Christie and Mike Pence, then you arrive at about 20, maximum 25% of the Republican vote going to the militarist faction. Even within that though, a lot of those people are probably more 2008-style tea partyers who liked Pence due to Evangelicalism, rather than actual neoconservatives.

This just goes to show the significant propaganda pressure against being "radical or extremist". There is only so far a conservative candidate is allowed to go before he would get obliterated by media propaganda. That is why the abortion issue is now very uncomfortable for Republican politicians, because Republican voters still have at least a little bit of backbone left to at least insist their candidates should be pro-life, yet being pro-life is anathema to the mainstream. And so then they come out with compromises with the mainstream like positioning themselves as moderates on contraceptives and other things. The average Republican politician is playing a rather sad balancing act between doing enough to satisfy their voters but at the same time desperately posturing as moderates to not get destroyed by the propaganda machine.
In the case of DeSantis, they hate him anyway no matter what he says so he's just out of luck.
