When people say she's "not that hot" what they mean is "if I were a famous multi-billionaire I wouldn't give her a second glace", which is reasonable.

It's like when people say some famous actress is "not that hot", they mean she's not hot enough that she should be world famous for being hot, not that she wouldn't be the hottest waitress at Denny's or whatever.

If you strolled around a European capital city for an hour you'd pass several dozen girls significantly more attractive than this woman.

No dude. Mossad picked her for a reason. She may not be my type but there is a standard of objectivity when it comes to attractiveness and she’s well above that threshold. We don’t have to dwell on it but to deny the obvious is just dishonesty. Elon was seduced by a high grade Israeli hooker, God help his children.
 
I think Elon being so vocal against the "Big Beautiful Bill" is a show that is designed to get the political world off of his back and allow him to return to a politically neutral posture in his business life. While I'm sure he's not thrilled with the Bill, the Congressional budget office scored it as adding to the deficit with a projected economic growth of just over 1% or so. Tax cuts spur economic growth and there's no reason that the economy can't experience a 3% growth over the next few years as trade deals are agreed upon and tariffs bring in revenue as well.

I think Elon is terrific and I'm proud of him making a political stand and putting alot on the line. However, we must not forget that Elon made a fortune off of government contracts and subsidies himself. Re-useable, self landing booster rockets are arguably a good use of tax dollars as an incentive for innovation and invention. I'd much rather spend money on that than subsidizing a turd world invasion of the West.

Iop890 was pretty much on the money. Yes she is attractive but you could walk down the street in Moscow or Belgrade or Stockholm and see women who are more beautiful than her. She is attractive waitress material. She is not Victoria Secrets Model material or or Miss Universe material which is kind of the caliber you would expect for the world's richest man. There are probably men on this forum who have had girlfriends who are more attractive than her. At best she is a 7.5 out of 10 and that is being generous. Guys with Elon Musks wealth should be dating women in the 8.5 - 10 range (if 10s even exist which is debatable).

Accounting for taste, which can involve imprint, can prove challenging.

I've noticed this trend. Rich and powerful men like Musk are rarely dating supermodel level women, even though they could. Particularly politicians and billionaires. Maybe they are insecure and feel they don't deserve it. Or maybe those women are such a hassle to deal with even for them. Who knows? In some cases they pick women who are very average or even unattractive. But a big mistake is they often pick women who are famous and have big egos. Like Tom Brady and Giselle.

There are some exceptions like Jason Statham or DiCaprio, of course. But by and large this rule seems to apply.

Good point about cities like Belgrade. There, you're likely to see 9s walking hand in hand with some fairly normal local guys. (And maybe St. Claire is a 9 in Tel Aviv where attractive women are rare, but certainly not in any European capital.)
 
The rift between Trump and Elon was entirely predictable, and if anything feels a bit overdue. Two such massive egos cannot coexist peacefully for long, and their alliance was always one of convenience, unified by a simple goal of defeating the Democrats. With that accomplished, it was inevitable there would be a falling out sooner or later. This could prove quite the combustible divorce, however, given Musk's obsessive nature, drug use and erratic temperament, and Trump's famously petty, combative and vindictive personality.
