Elon Musk Thread

Dis Gonna Be Good Jason Momoa GIF

I've noticed this trend. Rich and powerful men like Musk are rarely dating supermodel level women, even though they could. Particularly politicians and billionaires. Maybe they are insecure and feel they don't deserve it. Or maybe those women are such a hassle to deal with even for them. Who knows? In some cases they pick women who are very average or even unattractive. But a big mistake is they often pick women who are famous and have big egos. Like Tom Brady and Giselle.

There are some exceptions like Jason Statham or DiCaprio, of course. But by and large this rule seems to apply.

Good point about cities like Belgrade. There, you're likely to see 9s walking hand in hand with some fairly normal local guys. (And maybe St. Claire is a 9 in Tel Aviv where attractive women are rare, but certainly not in any European capital.)
This pic of St. Claire is heavily filtered. I remember seeing pics of her with the groypers in 2019/20. She is a 5½ at the very best.

I think Elon is a typical computer nerd kind of guy and likes them easy.

"Musk’s behaviour exemplifies, albeit on a larger scale, a common failing among people who get into dissident politics.

What tends to happen is someone gets involved with a very idealistic mindset and a lot of enthusiasm for the change they envision they are going to enact or facilitate. Often they make personal sacrifices or pay some other cost— they put their skin in the game and they often do so unnecessarily without properly assessing the risk/reward ratio (because their idealism makes them believe their sacrifices will definitely lead to victory or at least noticeably moving the needle).

Then they are confronted with the harsh reality that no one shares their idealism, that no one cares about their sacrifices, that the political machine is far too large to be moved by their efforts (even someone with as much power and money as Musk), and then to add insult to injury, nobody even appreciates what they tried to do.

They then end up bitter and angry because they feel they weren’t properly rewarded for their efforts and risk.

What every idealistic, would-be dissident fails to understand is that going up against the system isn’t something you do because you want recognition or rewards. But because they go into it with the expectation of victory, they also have the expectation that they will be seen as a hero, even if just on a small scale.

And the reality is that nobody cares and your efforts are usually for nothing. Or if not for nothing, at least you are unable to see the ripple effect that your actions will have had and they certainly don’t result in praise and acknowledgement.

Musk is understandably butthurt, but he set himself up for this with unrealistic expectations.

If you want to be a dissident against the system, you better be going into it with the mentality but this is a sacrifice for which you will reap no rewards and pay only costs.

And if you are not happy to do that and toil in obscurity simply because it is the right thing to do and your integrity will let you do no less, then it’s better that you don’t put your skin in the game in the first place than end up whining because you feel like you didn’t get your due."

It shows how out of touch Musk is with everyday life. He knows how bad things are getting, but he doesn't feel it personally. He honestly thought, even after Trump's shameful first four years, that something was going to change under Trump. I think most everyone here expected it to be a disaster no matter who won in 2024, so all of, or at least most of us, knew better than Musk.

Good, this is the rage stage of the red pill for Musk. Maybe he will put on his big boy pants and start to get serious. And when White Nationalists continue to ratio and destroy him on his own platform, poking holes in his 1980's way of thinking, maybe he will finally realize we are up against something much bigger than another fake election.

I think it confirms that Musk is sincerely naive and out of touch, just as you say, which might be good in the long run.

After Sam Hyde destroyed Musk in his Christmas day demand for endless Indian immigration, and the White Nationalist throttled him on his own platform, he shut-up about immigration and needing more engineers brought to the USA. Maybe he can actually learn. Maybe he will be of use. If he can get some of Trump's brainwashed fanbois to question "the great one" that is a big step in the right direction.

I have seen Musk learn and become less bluepill. He has shown me, at least, that if you give him a logical argument, he will deal with it and not dismiss it. I have also seen him behave better at not going on a power trip than very few other people would have done with 1/1000th the power. Those are his good points, IMO. His bad points are too numerous to mention.

I have seen Trump steal defeat from the jaws of victory and ruin everything that's been handed to him, even the July 13 assassination attempt, which he followed up by making his Christian base participate in a demon summoning prayer service from a Sikh immigrant.

Again, Musk didn't mind his subsidies. This isn't going to be turned around in 6 months. The BBB is going to spur major economic growth especially once the trade deals are worked out. I'm not thrilled with all of the spending either but it is the political reality. I don't know what Musk was expecting. Now he brings up Epstein? Now he's against the tariffs? I think Musk was stunned at the blow-back he received from heading up DOGE and saw his businesses suffer. He wants out but this is the wrong way to do it. Typically, the left will never let you back in once you're out.

Look on the bright side, they don’t have to pass the DOGE cuts anymore. How convenient. A falling out with the only guy who has done anything. Luckily he was temp too. The victories just fall into the Democrat hands, it’s truly remarkable how it works.
