Younger men attach way too much meaning to sexual ‘success’ when engaging in that behavior in the long run leads to soul ruin. Nothing tangible came out of my hook up or plate spinning stage. I consider it a gigantic waste of time now, and instead tell men they should avoid it and focus on finding a good woman to marry. Of course many will disregard that advice completely like I did.

I remember watching a documentary of a rock star many years ago. He broke down in tears from massive depression because he couldn’t find a long term relationship. Back then I thought yeah right, but now I know it was genuine. I never had the extreme experience like that rockstar or Roosh did with women, but the experiences I did have left my soul more empty and jaded.

The problem with the mentality is that men will continue to always look for something better. They never accept the woman as she is and think that they should dump her for someone more beautiful or whatever. Then they get bored and move on. Not only does it damage the man’s soul, but if you do this to a good woman it damages her greatly as well (the sluts are acting this way themselves so it doesn’t matter much)

We have to be practical and for most it isn’t practical to marry the first woman you date or court. Maybe in old times with strong family structure, and society forcing it. So a few real relationships and then seriously court for a wife. But hookups, casual sex? No way. It totally degrades you.

People can call me a hypocrite for stating this while at the same time admitting I did engage in hookups in the past, but I don’t care.

The path to self knowledge isn’t always easy. Sometimes it’s a difficult and dirty path that leads you to the truth.

I agree 100% and have unfortunately made the same mistakes. The only option is to genuinely repent and seek god.

Witcoff used to say it all the time, and it's obviously true and straight forward: if women reward men for X, they'll get X. Period.

That stuff is femspeak, which is why so many men have no patience for the platitudes anymore. They act like they can just say things and therefore they are true, like "The era for X is over." Uhh, no Olivia, it isn't. Talk to me when the era of OnlyFans is over, first.

'Alpha' and 'Beta' (plus the rest of the alphabet) are not tenable scientific terms, at best, they're analogues comparing humans to wolves (and even among wolves 'alpha' is a role, not some kind of genetically predetermined status), and, fortunately or unfortunately, even military - where an effort has been made to formalize and solidify relations between soldiers to make command and discipline possible - is a lot more complex than a wolfpack, let alone human society at large.
Of course, this deeply unserious person then proceeds to take his examples from some scripted television, just to dispel any doubt about the quality of his "content".

A curious and head scratching response. Of course the terms alpha and beta are simplifications. If you think this model serves no purpose at all, how would you describe the differences in status/hierarchy amongst men in simple terms to a mass audience?

Aside from dismissing the beta/alpha simplification, your critique does not address the core content of the video, or the points I raised, nor does it offer any alternatives. I'm not convinced of anything by your response. What are you trying to say about the themes raised in the video, and the dot points I made, exactly?

While I think alpha and beta have some sociological use, I agree with your take of using fictional TV and movies to make a point is bad.

Of course, it doesn't. When it starts from a badly flawed promise, I can deduce that it can only come to an even more flawed conclusions, so I didn't watch it, and if you did, I'm sorry for you.
 
I think that the concept of alpha and beta has some merit, but I think it has mostly degenerated now into some kind of insult.

Generally any "alpha" man I have met hasn't really concerned themselves with calling themselves an alpha, nor do they devote time and attention to putting others down as being "beta".
 
There's some new postings with hoe_math on Twitter recently. The bloke is having a mental breakdown because he's not getting ahead in life (including no wife and kids) and he's 40 now. There's also a new viral trend of the "stay at home son" meme. Dark days are coming for young lads in the west....

It's funny because it is equally balanced (but not talked about) by the crazy surge in cat ladies with no more prospects for dates.

Hey ladies, add to someone's life or enjoy being alone. You wouldn't believe the number of women who still think it's a waste of time to just talk to a man over a coffee. They want a guy to invest in them (which is why they want dinner) and don't realize no one cares to play these games anymore. Especially not for women who are 35-45, lol
