Last year, I reported on a tip from a United pilot that a near-fatal incident in Houston was the result of a fired employee being rehired through their DEI programI was told I was a lying racist.The Houston 767 incident report is out. I was 100% right:"The first officer’s training records showed inconsistencies in airplane handling as recent as a few months before the accident. He received an unsatisfactory performance rating and, upon re-evaluation, a satisfactory rating with a condition to recheck after 90 days (instead of 9 months). This was due to, among other things, marginal performance with landings."

I never had a fear of flying until I had kids... and then the planes started falling out of the sky.

(I'm getting sick of people and these channels on the tubes or whatever saying that driving is soooo much safer than flying)

Euro media says everyone is dead RIP to you who didn't stand a chance.

I much prefer the back road with my kids in my 3t rig I'll tell you that even if it takes 8 times longer.

* I obviously meant to say that I'm tired of everyone saying that "flying is so much safer than driving".

(My auto correct changed it again for some reason, so I had to edit)

We are planning a trip away from this big Island and I'm seriously considering taking a ship. Unfortunately there are none unless you want to take a cruise. Ferries charters etc all seem to be a thing of the past for a family of 6.

I love aviation but you never know what pilot or other "interesting" folk you'll have to deal with during the whole ordeal.

Does anyone have experience with freighters perhaps? From my experience enquiring they don't take kids though.

So all of the pilots were well qualified, it's 100% the air traffic controllers fault. The FAA is most likely to blame.
The helo pilot may have been a tranny in training, see DEI thread. They’ve identified one pilot but not the other.
