Edit. DCA had a couple of incidents over the last few years. Some examples:
FAA: A PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 regional jet collided in midair with a Sikorsky H-60 helicopter while on approach to Runway 33 at Reagan Washington National Airport around 9 p.m. local time. PSA was operating as Flight 5342 for American Airlines. It departed from Wichita, Kansas. The FAA and NTSB will investigate. The NTSB will lead the investigation.
I'm going to bet it could be DEI-related personnel at DCA. Too many past incidents at DCA raise a red flag.Of course it seems several of these incidents are AA. It’s a pretty bad airline but not as bad as Spirit or Frontier. I had a dangerous experience with an AA flight, and the personnel does not impress me.
Why the f was an army Blackhawk operating in class B airspace WITHOUT their transponder squawking on ADS-B with other commercial traffic?
DC airspace is so congested. This is pure speculation, but the heli may have identified the wrong aircraft when asked. Initial reports, including from @flightradar24, show the military heli was operating without ADS-B, which is deeply unfortunate, as that system is designed to prevent mid-air collisions.
I'm going to bet it could be DEI-related personnel at DCA. Too many past incidents at DCA raise a red flag.

The amount of small plane crashes and now big jets crashing makes me wonder if it's better to take a ship.
Shared to me anonymously shows the Playback from official Air Traffic Control radar
#Washington | #DC
Watch as exclusive playback, sent anonymously by @avgeekjake to Rawsalerst, reveals official Air Traffic Control radar footage displaying the Collision Alert. This alert is not for an imminent collision but serves as a tool to draw heightened attention from the controllers to potential risks. The footage then captures the critical moment when both aircraft collided, emphasizing the urgency of the controllers' split-second decisions. The radar data provides a detailed view of the events leading up to the crash, offering valuable insight into the sequence of actions and how the situation ultimately unfolded.
Because FAA's information systems are extremely slow to modernize ATC's (air traffic control) aging computer systems. The entire systems need to be revamped. Why do these radar screen graphics look like they are from computers from 40 years ago ?
Don't fix what ain't broke. Good thing the ATC computers didn't run on the same platform as the computers running the arrival and departure displays at the airports last July. Why do these radar screen graphics look like they are from computers from 40 years ago ?
Trump blames crash on FAA recruitment.
Edit II.Last year, I reported on a tip from a United pilot that a near-fatal incident in Houston was the result of a fired employee being rehired through their DEI programI was told I was a lying racist. The Houston 767 incident report is out. I was 100% right:"The first officer’s training records showed inconsistencies in airplane handling as recent as a few months before the accident. He received an unsatisfactory performance rating and, upon re-evaluation, a satisfactory rating with a condition to recheck after 90 days (instead of 9 months). This was due to, among other things, marginal performance with landings."
