The China Thread

Beijing is in the shit. Shanghai is the only city growing in China. China overall is not in a good spot. Xijiping is considered an hardcore lunatic who is destroying the economy. In other hand property rights are considered sacred. More than in the west.

AI is the new arms race. Whoever wins this race, will win the next century and beyond. The top AI guy in the USA says China cannot be beat. He is right, we replaced the men who were able to put a man on the moon with slide rulers with third world immigrants.

Do I have time to slit my throat before Ping Pong Ching Chong parachutes down my chimney and steals my corneas?

No eminent domain laws as we know them. Multiple stories about major roads having to be built around the stubborn owners' properties. In one case the provincial authorities resorted to dispatching Kung fu fighting goons to intimidate the people into selling. If it's of critical national importance, a prime location for an air force base or rich in strategic mineral deposits, then you have to move I'd think.

Is that Mr.Huang? I wouldn't want to live in an authoritarian country with the best, most advanced and widely deployed AI systems in the world, even though they seem to reward 'good citizen' behavior and don't try to help or prop up criminals.

I don't want to put you or anybody on the spot, I don't need personal answers. You summarized your views without explaining why you devote that much energy to this thread. China has been successful and the western world is in trouble, many see that without spending that much energy on reminding everybody of it online. Steady Hands asked jokingly if a girl might be the reason. I don't really care.

I've posted more on the Ukraine and Russia threads than on this one over the last couple of years, but somehow no one is questioning me about "devoting that much energy" there. Part of the reason I do post a lot on this thread is that there is an inordinate amount of low-IQ propaganda with people like LaNegra trying to push low grade slop from hacks like Serpentza about China.

As I've mentioned a few times already, I see China more as a check on the otherwise unlimited power of the ((banksters)) that have been parasiting the West than a threat to crush the West. The plans for the West and humanity of an Alex Karp, Bill Gates or a Sam Altman are far more nefarious than anything the Chinese could come ever out with.

It's pretty clear here that your take is that of a zero sum game to control the world between the West and China, so you are wondering why I am not on board with my team here. I think the Chinese, much like the Russians, basically want to be left alone, while US foreign policy has essentially been to try to kneecap their growth, if not to take them over outright, as was done to Russia in the 1990s or China for over a hundred years after the Opium Wars. It is a policy straight out of the Tonya Harding school of geopolitics.

The reality here is that China is going to be the world's leading economic and industrial power, that is the natural course of events, as they have 4 times as many people as the US, are not dumb and are highly organized and united, led by capable nationalists. They're very good at industry but not natural global hegemons. Where I differ with IIMT is that countries like China or Russia don't have to be global predators in order to thrive, and neither do we. That is not just a rational, civilized take, but it is also the right Christian take. Do you really want to side with sellout psychopaths like Lindsay Graham, Nikki Haley or Victoria Nuland here?? No thanks.

Faber is a Swiss economist based in Thailand since the 70s. I've seen a few of his interviews and he always warns to take the Chinese stats with a grain of salt. He wrote a book about the rise of Asia in 2000 maybe, I'm not a religious follower of any financial guru, but I heard him say that many times, I can't search for anything now, it's out there. I haven't heard about the Gaves before, maybe I'll check them out.

Faber has had a series of incredibly lousy predictions. He predicted the US stock market would crash 10 years ago, it tripled in value instead. In the 00s, he predicted Gordon Chang-style that the Chinese economy would crash, it kept growing like gangbusters instead. He's an older macroeconomist who has not lived or worked in China, unlike the Gaves who have lived and worked there as banker-investors for 30 years.

Stories like these are absolute gold, and shine a big fat spotlight on the gigantic discrepancy between reality in China and the spun up plastic propaganda narratives artificially held up by entire CCP bot armies.

Shanghai's now former vice-mayor Lin Duo's daughter was recently discovered to be a US resident and green card holder. Like basically every CCP apparatchik's offspring bytheway, that's how you know da satanic West is collapsiiiing. Anyway, upon finding out the MSS gave Lin Duo two options, 1. have her daughter revoke her green card or 2. resign.

She chose her daughter's US green card and resigned as Shanghai's vice mayor.

Grim.

Property rights in China are stronger because there is no property tax. In the West, you never really own property, as you have to pay property and school taxes, or it will be repossessed by the state, so you can never really retire unless you accumulate a small fortune as you will be faced with ever growing property taxes and medical bills in your late years.

I'm not sure about Beijing stagnating, its economy is fairly well diversified, and as the capital it is likely to benefit from state policies.

Someone made a mistake, a big mistake. You should actually visit the USA someday to see how "good" things are here. But be careful, there are a lot of no go zones here, so research that first.

A former vice-mayor of a big Chinese city resigned, and that is your big proof that China is a dystopia? That's a bit flimsy, even by LaNegra standards.

Maybe you should start posting under a second sock puppet account as a fake Chinese nationalist, the same way you post as a fake Russian patriot to try to discredit Russia.

Looking at this latest source used by LaNegra: typical glowie anti-China source, 100% China is a neverending dystopia messaging, as if nothing good ever happened in China the last decade, with comically ludicrous material like this, where they manage to storyboard for gullible people a positive event of a wedding party into something peculiarly sinister :

...and in this character's his main X profile banner, an all-seeing eye - a brother who self-describes as "standing for universal values", is he from the same Lodge as you, LaNegra?

"Forever renters" in the West, whatever is left of it. The failures of our previous governments is killing our own people. At least the Chinese try to preserve their own.

In China they have willfully let the housing bubble pop, and diverted financial resources towards industries like EVs, semiconductors, AI, batteries etc instead. As a results their millennials have the highest home ownership rates in the world.

In the US, Blackrock is making sure young people will own nothing and be happy.

"Patrick Bet-David on BlackRock’s Shocking Strategy: They’re Betting Against the Next Generation BlackRock isn’t chasing the $700K properties—they’re hoarding the low-end market. Why? Because they know millennials can’t afford to buy, so they’ll be forced to rent forever.

In 2020, only 10% of their purchases were low-price homes. Now? 24%. That’s 1 in 4 homes—your future home—being turned into an annuity for Wall Street.

This isn’t investment. It’s predatory. They’re pricing out a generation, turning the American Dream into a rental scheme, and laughing all the way to the bank.

Wake up. The game is rigged."

Coop's so fragile, even a single post not in line with his absurd China worship is enough to send him into a uncontrollable rage. It's what usually happens when the shills get called out, lacking any arguments they go dumpster diving looking to pull the spotlights off the news/ analysis mentioned and unto their own psycho mudslinging .

Throwing tantrums ain't gonna change the facts though, which are simple: any CCP bigwig of any importance sends his children to the West. A bigger litmus test of global dynamics cannot be found.

"Uncontrollable rage"? lulz.

You're a bit prone to dramatization, almost as much as you are prone to making broad, sweeping generalizations about Chinese society based on random stories fished at the bottom of the $1.6 billion anti-China propaganda industry barrel.

If anything your posts here are fairly entertaining, in an unintended way.

Model wumao Lil Coop after his 30 day garbage posting spree in the China thread, literally Xi's most loyal westoid footsoldier and totally not a subversive shill. Unfortunately in his previous meltdown the mask fell off and now it seems the man's going full commiepsycho. Not that there is anything to complain about, the more
ridiculous the copetakes get the more comedy

What planet do you people live on? There is no private property in China, you lease from the CCP for 70-99 years. The leases are violated by eminent domain there at least as much as the USA, and they do send kungfu panda off-world kick murder squads to evict people who get uppity, sometimes resulting in 100 person brawls with a few fatalities when SUVs are used to mow people down.

Nail houses exist in small jurisdictions that are incompetent at hiring thugs to throw people off their land, which is normal in China, where almost nothing is enforced with uniformity except gutter oil quotas. If you search China+forced+evictions you'll see endless cases.

1 minute clip that gives a little idea. The old videos that showed the big brawls are no longer to be found online.

One of the most spectacular cases without a fatality was in Wuhan 2009 when the property lessee built a make-shift cannon with fireworks and a crude tower from which to defend against the attackers, a battle that raged on and off for monthses.

Eventually, they injured him.
