I dont know hey there were men and woman of all ages at church and there are also a ton a children and babies, these children in a decade are going to be 18 and 20 year olds and even right now there are men and woman of all ages in the church, I know there are many guys that complain about the lack of dating opportunities in church but I havent seen it myself in the churches that I have attended.
Not saying there aren’t any young women in the church but the ratio matters a lot. If there is only one young single woman for every 10 single men then 9 of those men will have to look outside the church for a wife. Maybe you don’t care because you are already married and it doesn’t affect you,
It's also worse than that, since M:F ratio is a top predictor of how good or bad women will be, right next to resource availability.

It's actually the opposite of keyboard warrior talk. I'm suggesting a practical solution. Keyboard warrior talk is non stop gesticulating about finding an ideal bride in a foreign country.

I think we've been through this Tippy. It's very dependent on the person. I don't think it's debatable that the initial attraction to the opposite sex, especially for a man, is sexual and thus dependent on youth and beauty. The answer to question to is to satisfy boner test for children, and make the relatioship suitable and worthwhile. Why would you presume that it's "lust"? If men thought that fucking ugly women or women who had interesting things to say (like men) was OK, sustainable or even doable we'd have a quasi utopia in terms of always having kids and families. But the thing raising children does not have a lot to do with the boner test at all. The boner test is just lust. Raising a family you should be thinking of other priorities. And skin in the game? So what. I just think you have to ask yourself if you took away lust what would be important and go for that. But often it seems to be 'nah - just want a hot devout girl so I guess I'm going to Russia.' But then no one actually goes to Russia. So what are we even doing? And then I get called the keyboard warrior. Ha.
But since a marriage is supposed to be permanent you have to factor in degradation of looks.
Easy to dismiss the problem when it doesn’t affect you. Plenty of young guys in your local church have likely been going for years and are not married yet.
Back in the day traditionally if an accomplished man married an ugly woman because she was a good wife and mother he would have affairs on the side with younger more attractive women and the wife would turn a blind eye to it. But now that is no longer seen as acceptable for men to have affairs so their is now less incentive for men to marry older ugly women.
The problem is that the culture is just too much to overcome, but somewhat it is on me in the sense that I have a view of what is commensurate or suitable for me given my profile. The "available" in the west and my country (USA) are all old from a historical point of view, which is mine, and have been for some time. Anyone younger is already out of the game and the other generations, even those nearing 30, are some of the worst ever spawned. A 28 year old woman now was 16 when smartphone use was peak and climbing in terms of degeneracy and social media.
