If there is not enough room to keep these people in custody, why is this not a perfect basis to build much larger and more efficient detention facilities (you can call them whatever sounds good to the public)?

I’d seize on that opportunity. When the government really wants something to get done, they can make it happen very quickly (see rebuilding of LA freeways after 1994 earthquake). Does this administration want to get things done?

"It remains unclear how many raids have taken place since Inauguration Day, but on 26 January alone 956 people were arrested by ICE and other agencies in locations including Chicago, Newark, New Jersey and Miami.

For comparison, ICE detained more than 149,700 in the 2024 fiscal year under the Biden administration, which equals an average of 409 a day."

This is fake news, ICE cannot force all of these old news stories to update their tags. It's the opposite, these old news stories are being updated by the tribesmen, in order to create the appearance of insane amounts of brutal deportations to generate unrest.

I WISH there were as many deportations as the fake news claims. But, the tribesmen are trying to play both the left and the right (guys like you):

- Make the left feel like there is a dictatorship of Nazi's rounding up the poor brown people.
- Make the right feel like more is being done than is actually being done to lull them into a false sense of security.

Then, they release more fake news claiming it is ICE somehow updating these news stories in order to make themselves look good, to trick guys like you. I hope you and others are smarter than this, because ICE has no control over news agencies.

I agree. I wish we could go all out like Penitent’s suggestions, WW2 style, but it’s just not the same country today.

I thought about it more today though and wondered, well the government totally shut down the country for Covid under the guise of a pandemic. Most people just went along and accepted it. Maybe what’s needed is to push the envelope.

Tom Homan addressed this, but I have to find the video. He stated something like Biden didn’t actually deport that many people because those numbers were all apprehensions at the border. They weren’t actually internal removals. Something to that effect.

In other words, they were fudging the numbers.

Why aren't you actually talking to people in power rather than ask rhetorical questions no one will ever read?

By the way, if you bothered to actually stay on top of events, Director Hooman says the ONLY thing limiting even more deportations is money. If they had more money, they could get more agents, more deportation holding centers, and more airplanes to ship them out.

The money question is limited by Congress, thus, that is where the issue is. So what are you doing to lobby Congress, other than feebly write here?

This is a think tank, few if any in positions of power read this board. Use this board to plan action in the real world. This board is not even close to a substitute for the real world, and complaining here only degrades the quality of conversation.

We can only pray Trump is planning a false flag in order to scare Congress into funding ultra-scale mass deportations. That would indeed be the fastest and easiest solution.

Congress holds the purse. To get more money on detention centers, Congress would have to amend the budget. You could also try to move funds from other programs, already in lets say the DOD budget, but this wouldn't provide long term financing.

Wait . . . You are saying the numbers are exaggerated by the media to trick us retards into thinking Trump is doing something substantial to lull us into complacency when he really isn’t deporting that many people. I’d imagine this is just mock trolling but in any event, the left is such a volatile and impulsive group you wouldn’t really need that. They lapse into violence over rhetoric alone. If that happens it might give you an excuse to do, you know, something to address it. Like giving certain organizations or associations of individuals a designation that wouldn’t be good for them and building on that. And also looking into uh, anyone who supports them.
 
The Trump DOJ has just SUED the the state of Illinois and City of Chicago for interfering in ICE’s deportation operations, per NYP
Pam Bondi’s laying down the law, and this is the “first of MANY” lawsuits to be filed, per DOJ officials. Sanctuary jurisdictions like these REFUSE to honor ICE detainer requests for illegals who have been arrested for other crimes, and actually have passed local laws barring police from doing so. This BS ends soon!

What has petitioning the federal government ever done? You want me to write a letter to my congressman?

I’ve personally witnessed how that works in the state legislature with my own eyes, by legislators who laugh at their constituents’ concerns, have their interns filter and then personally select the most politically expedient letters to respond to, and then make a mini-campaign out of some personal cause they think will score them a ride up the ladder. Guys who take both lunch and dinner with different lobbyists every day of the week and then take a private jet to go skiing at their weekend mountain homes. And this wasn’t enough, their aspirations were to worm their way into the federal sphere.

Lobby Congress? Like Walmart? Like Elon Musk? You said you work in politics. You know better. Put your ear to the ground. Report what you hear.

If you are serious about trying to win, start looking at primary candidates running for Republican office in 2028 in your area. Find the most based guy and help him win his primary. Start campaigning now. Do what you can - it can be as simple as booking events (town halls, gun shows, media interviews, etc), or knocking on doors of the rich and powerful to convince them to support your guy.

That is politics in a nutshell. Do the hard work and make things happen. Now that Trump is gutting the liberal media, we really need to push for based candidates in 2028. Hopefully we can start to elect anti-Israel candidates.
