United Healthcare CEO Assassinated

The social support for the man who was killed is out of the perception of his greed, but as his role as the CEO was to maximize profits, what else was he supposed to do in order to retain that position? This has been a natural gut reaction to corruption, because intuitively people know that healthcare shouldn't be in it's current state, but what do you expect from a system that monetizes the health/life of a person? Where do people think their high interest/dividends on investments come from, if not from people who maximize that value no matter the cost?

So to condemn this man, while participating and monetarily profiting from this same system is to speak out of both sides of your mouth.

Yes, he has an obligation to maximize profits, but that obligation doesn't extend to the point of having the company act in bad faith in rejecting valid claims.

Obviously some claims are not valid, and some fall within the written coverage provided by the insurance policy. UHC, and many other insurers, have been rejecting claims that clearly fall within the written coverage of the policy. They do this in bad faith, knowing that it will be approved eventually after they make the patient and Doctor jump through enough hoops, but knowing that many won't go to the effort needed to push through the appeals process, and many will simply die before the approval comes.

Companies can only seek to maximize profits within the bounds of good faith compliance with their contractual obligations.

You're not wrong that it was his job but you could choose to not do wrong, you could choose as an individual to not take that job or you could take the job and try to perform it morally and if you're fired then so be it. There has to be something within yourself that is worth more to you than money, more to you than a career.

My older sister had a high up job at one of the largest insurance companies and they asked her to, for all intents and purposes, lie about some numbers to justify something negative they wanted to do, of course they didn't frame it like that but that's what they were asking her to do. It's a lot more intricate and disgusting than putting it that plainly but I would rather not go into details about it. She didn't do it and the entire company attacked her from top to bottom, I'd love to sit here and tell you my sister is this strong person and she laughed in their faces and quit but that's not what happened. She had a mental breakdown because she's a fragile girl and she couldn't handle an entire company attacking her simply because she didn't want to do something wrong.

She's fine now, she quit that job, or more accurately they forced her out, and with her two masters and strong resume she had her pick of jobs and chose a different industry. My sister certainly is no crusader or some amazingly moral person but she still held to what was right just out of pure instinct, she had no idea what she was getting herself into by doing that. It took her a long time to get back to who she was after that happened, it was a very bad time in my family she was not well for a long time. It was a long time ago and my family actually hid most of the details from me fearing what i might do....which was probably smart.

Suffice to say she has been reveling in all of this, that picture i posted earlier was sent to me by her.

The problem is we too are forced into the system because of inflation. If you don't put your money into interest bearing investments, growth stocks, or dividend paying stocks, the system is killing your hard earned fiat currency just by letting it sit there.

The whole system is rotten from top to bottom, and will continue to be so unless we move to a sound money standard. But that will never happen because the rich and powerful would no longer be able to manipulate the money supply to become more rich and powerful.

When corona started. I had an asian contact who asked me if I could find EU government buyers for those generators which killed patients. I told him I couldn´t help him. Whatever the money involved. I believed it would taint my soul beyond remedy. It was easy money.
You think your body can handle it. Maybe it can. But your mind/soul won´t. You can make millions but you will have to drown in alcohol or drugs to cope with it.

Just want to point out that if we didn't have illegals in the country this whole burden of health care costs via uninsured (which in turn passed the costs to the insured) would go away.

Totally agree. The parasitic behavior of these companies won’t go away, but if we deport the millions of illegals the burden on the system will decrease. Hard to even get to the ER with all the illegals filing them up and getting free care.

When my wife worked in the industry the shit she would tell you about the rampant abuse of EMS/hospitals would make your blood boil.

Ask yourself how the below is a thing... Give you a hint..
They ain't coming from Nova Scotia ...

Texas ranks #2 among U.S. states with the most TB. The number of cases reported in 2022 represents an increase of 9.9 percent from 2021 when 998 cases were reported. The Texas TB rate in 2021 (most recent data available) was 3.38 cases per 100,000 persons. Texas has a higher TB case rate than the national rate.

The tide of the board has already shifted. Calling me a "liar" doesn't work when more and more men can't afford a decent life. And it will only get worse going forward. The fiat capitalist system that has killed off White people is collapsing upon itself. I am happy to watch that happen, if nothing else.
Weren't you in another thread talking about how glad you are going to be dead before everything goes to waste and now you're talking about you are glad you are going to be around to watch everything go to waste? Reminds me of the old forum where in one post you'll talk about how much you hate your life and working and then later on will talk about how you actually love your life and love working constantly. Gives more weight to the accusation that you can't keep your stories straight.

The difference I don't work for an employer that makes its money by screwing clients.

We offer a good service at a fair price (relative to the expense of what we do anyways. These type of projects aren't cheap cost wise).

People don't participate in this system because they want to, but because they have no choice. The laws are evil and the system rewards the corrupt.

The murder of this man was wrong, but as the Bible says, "He who lives by the sword dies by the sword," who knows if this slain CEO did not deserve his death or not. The wise move is to not judge anything right now.

What is your solution then? Insurance prices are through the roof, they constantly deny claims, so we are at a point where people pay thousands a year and when they need the insurance they paid for, they get little to no coverage and go bankrupt because of a health diagnosis.

We vote for both parties, no one fixes it. We wait in line to speak and are told time has expired. We write letters and get form letters returned, if anything. We write our congressmen, but then the CEO gives them another $250,000 to do nothing about it.

What is your solution?

The solution isn't murder, if that's what you're implying. The solution is the growth of the Church, the revitalization of our nation's soul, and restoration of good public conscious.

We've had this discussion at least 10x already in various threads, yet you continue on with your ideological prattle of NatSoc garbage.

News flash, it doesn't matter what the government is if the people are corrupt.

A lot of people forget that the US was founded on violence. We would not be a country without it. I'm not going to say this Thompson guy deserved to die, but sometimes people are left with no other options. And I certainly don't feel sorry for him.

Americans are really proud of the Revolution, as we should be. But what do they think was happening during those times. A lot of the Founding Fathers were causing violence for similar reasons...

The evil elites get away with this stuff because our society doesn't do anything about it.

Completely false, the founding fathers did everything they could to avoid violence and keep the moral high ground. They made dozens of petitions to the King, and when they did revolt, it was with words and not swords. It was the King who sent in the army to force the colonists to submit, the violence was in self-defense.

Likewise, Brian Thompson probably deserved a good tar and feathering, but he's just small potatoes compared to the big boys in terms of malfeasance, and without going after them then this is nothing more than a spectacle which will change nothing.

I have people ask me sometimes why I'm religious, mind you I'll be the first one to tell you I'm not a good catholic I'm definitely no altar boy, but sill it comes up sometimes with people who are not very religious. I know giving them bible quotes or telling them about salvation, God and Jesus won't mean anything to them so I usually tell them that it's important for our morals, for accountability, for guidance, tradition, accountability and community. That they usually understand as everyone can see we have severely lost our way once our society decided it was fine to turn away from the Church.

We have lost our desire to be good people and fear of being a bad person....before anything we need to get that back.

I suppose you think we can vote our way out of this still. You are in for a rude awakening. I am doing my best to enjoy the decline, we are well into the decline already, and I have no choice but to enjoy it as best as I can. But where we are heading will be something I will be very happy to not live and experience. I don't know if you are informed about the days of the Bolshevik revolution, if not, I suggest you read up on first-hand witness stories of what it was like. I have no desire to live through that at all. But, what we are currently going through right now, isn't nearly that bad.

I am happy to see the elites of our country terrified by this murder. They have done so much evil in the world, and to see them actually feel some fear is a great thing to witness. There are always little silver linings to the decline, watching the people who took advantage of and harmed others, get their own just rewards.

Simply put, we are not going to vote our way out of this, and the big collapse is coming very soon. Enjoy what you can in life, it goes fast, I just lost a very close loved one. At the same time, read up on the Bolshevik revolution and how truly dark and depraved our elites' ancestors were and what is coming here to this country.

Reeeeeee the sky is falling!!!!

The killer has supposedly been caught.

He's a smart guy - computer science major from UPenn.

Despite all the opsec precautions he took to avoid being identified, he supposedly still had the murder weapon (a "ghost gun"), plus 4 fake IDs and a handwritten manifesto on him at the time of his arrest.

I don't buy it.

Even the biggest Trumpists on this forum know "we are not going to vote our way out of this," so you can give this a rest now that even California has stopped counting ballots.

There are multiple questions I have about this one and I, like you, do not buy it. Why is there always a "manifesto"?

The guy did not mention one word about any of that, did not say one word about voting or bolsheviks or anything else......he was only talking about you. About how you are constantly contradicting yourself, saying things just to rile everyone up with poison and changing your story whichever way the wind is blowing. So like usual whenever you are confronted with your own BS you bring up random buzzwords and topics you know people will agree with and put words into people's mouths to try and get people to rally around you and distract from it.

Your behavior around here is definitely curious to say the least and I think it goes beyond just being a miserable negative person.
