The killer has supposedly been caught.
He's a smart guy - computer science major from UPenn.
Despite all the opsec precautions he took to avoid being identified, he supposedly still had the murder weapon (a "ghost gun"), plus 4 fake IDs and a handwritten manifesto on him at the time of his arrest.
I don't buy it.
He's not very smart if he thought he could get away with killing a guy in the middle of Manhattan... Unless there's something else going on here. A lot of people could have wanted Thompson dead because of what he knows.

Neighbor in grad school was a CS student. Would go to the gym with him occasionally. Lost touch for a year or so and when I saw him again his apartment was covered in random pages from magazines, windows blacked out, plastic bags over the vents, muttering gibberish about being surveilled through the building’s fire alarm. Some people just go nuts. Sad to see.
An economic collapse however, and even goyslop, porn, hedonism would not hold back righteous justice.the intravenous drug of goyslop, porn, hedonism, and sportsball is keeping this behavior from manifesting. I truly believe it is a combination of lust and sloth that is preventing righteous justice from manifesting
That "backstabbing" aspect has become more obvious to me in recent times - in particular how politics in every part of the western world involves a media digging for dirt to create scams to get rid of unwanted politicians, collecting dirt to blackmail with, politicians forming coalitions and doing all they can to exclude the most popular parties.more and more people are screwed over by a collapsing jewified system of usury and backstabbing on all levels
I don't have any insurance but car insurance. Don't live in the USA and am healthy, but have over they years been robbed by various countries for health insurance. Actually that reminds me I have some ridiculous life insurance policy in another country I need to cash out. I'm sure they were counting on me forgetting about that one.. Yes this is a scam with the health insurance and countries other than the US also get it in smaller ways.I don't even have health insurance right now.
Was about to say quit in moral outrage and go to the press as a whistle blower, then I read about what @FrancisK wrote about his sister in the health insurance industry and in practice it may not be so easy.what else was he supposed to do in order to retain that position?
That, and as I understand it murdering a rich, powerful guy who's seen as one who expoloited the helpless would be near the top of the crime hierarchy in prison (where sexual assualt and pedophilia are at the bottom). So he'll probably be treated well and with respect by other prisoners if he uses common sense and doesn't get into debt or mouth off to a gang leader or something. This guy's going to receive a whole lot of love letters in jail.
Spoke with a source that had a lot of friends that went to high school with Luigi Mangione.
What keeps coming up is a back surgery that “changed everything” for him and he went “absolutely crazy.”
Checks out with his GoodReads history and the X-Ray in his header.
...
More info:
Back injury happened when he was surfing in Hawaii.
Surgery didn’t go great.
Moved to Japan.
His contact with family stopped about a year ago. Recently the family reached out to his friends from high school asking if they had info on him.
So he’s been pretty aloof for awhile. This checks out with his IG tagged photos as there were a lot of posts from family through 2023, none recently.

Mangione was valedictorian of his 2016 high school graduating class at the Gilman School in Baltimore, where he played soccer, according to online sites. High school tuition at the all-boys school is nearly $40,000 a year.
He said at the time of graduation that he planned to seek a degree in artificial intelligence, focused on the areas of computer science and cognitive science at the University of Pennsylvania, according to an interview with the Baltimore Fishbowl.
The tech hotshot graduated cum laude from the private Ivy League institution in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE), Computer and Information Science in 2020, according to his LinkedIn profile.
He also completed a Master of Science in Engineering (MSE), Computer and Information Science at the University of Pennsylvania, his profile states.
Yes, one of my friends made the valid point that it's weird that the shooter wasn't wearing a COVID mask. Seems like the first thing you'd do if you were planning something like that and didn't want to get caught. What concerns me is that United States has become a surveillance state. With all the cameras around now, you have to assume you are being watched wherever you go. It might actually make sense to start wearing a mask, since that is now something that doesn't raise eyebrows anymore.
Last summer, New York City politicians pushed for face mask bans over crimes.Yes, one of my friends made the valid point that it's weird that the shooter wasn't wearing a COVID mask. Seems like the first thing you'd do if you were planning something like that and didn't want to get caught.
I saw a tweet showing where he had posted a review of the Unabomber Manifesto on GoodReads, as one of his most recent posted there, and seemed to agree with several of Ted's main lines of thought. My guess is that his Manifesto will show at least some signs of being influenced by Uncle Ted.Ivy League? Check

Nah man, they knew that the British would try to use force. It was absolutely self-defense like you said, but they were ready to get violent and were obviously completely justified in doing so. American history is full of violence, just like every other empire.Completely false, the founding fathers did everything they could to avoid violence and keep the moral high ground. They made dozens of petitions to the King, and when they did revolt, it was with words and not swords. It was the King who sent in the army to force the colonists to submit, the violence was in self-defense.
Likewise, Brian Thompson probably deserved a good tar and feathering, but he's just small potatoes compared to the big boys in terms of malfeasance, and without going after them then this is nothing more than a spectacle which will change nothing.
The problem is we too are forced into the system because of inflation. If you don't put your money into interest bearing investments, growth stocks, or dividend paying stocks, the system is killing your hard earned fiat currency just by letting it sit there.
The whole system is rotten from top to bottom, and will continue to be so unless we move to a sound money standard. But that will never happen because the rich and powerful would no longer be able to manipulate the money supply to become more rich and powerful.
Yes, he has an obligation to maximize profits, but that obligation doesn't extend to the point of having the company act in bad faith in rejecting valid claims.
Obviously some claims are not valid, and some fall within the written coverage provided by the insurance policy. UHC, and many other insurers, have been rejecting claims that clearly fall within the written coverage of the policy. They do this in bad faith, knowing that it will be approved eventually after they make the patient and Doctor jump through enough hoops, but knowing that many won't go to the effort needed to push through the appeals process, and many will simply die before the approval comes.
Companies can only seek to maximize profits within the bounds of good faith compliance with their contractual obligations.
People don't participate in this system because they want to, but because they have no choice. The laws are evil and the system rewards the corrupt.
The murder of this man was wrong, but as the Bible says, "He who lives by the sword dies by the sword," who knows if this slain CEO did not deserve his death or not. The wise move is to not judge anything right now.
I suppose you think we can vote our way out of this still. You are in for a rude awakening. I am doing my best to enjoy the decline, we are well into the decline already, and I have no choice but to enjoy it as best as I can. But where we are heading will be something I will be very happy to not live and experience. I don't know if you are informed about the days of the Bolshevik revolution, if not, I suggest you read up on first-hand witness stories of what it was like. I have no desire to live through that at all. But, what we are currently going through right now, isn't nearly that bad.
I am happy to see the elites of our country terrified by this murder. They have done so much evil in the world, and to see them actually feel some fear is a great thing to witness. There are always little silver linings to the decline, watching the people who took advantage of and harmed others, get their own just rewards.
Simply put, we are not going to vote our way out of this, and the big collapse is coming very soon. Enjoy what you can in life, it goes fast, I just lost a very close loved one. At the same time, read up on the Bolshevik revolution and how truly dark and depraved our elites' ancestors were and what is coming here to this country.
