United Healthcare CEO Assassinated

I thought of the "Office Space" guys and their embezzlement scheme when I read your post.
They were smart enough programmers to steal the money, but not very good at covering their tracks afterward.
One of the guys says "how can these Neanderthal mafia guys be so good at crime, and smart guys like us suck so badly at it?"
I know it's a fictional example, but maybe the screenwriter was trying to make a point about "smart" people based on experience.

It's Mike Judge (also known for Beavis and Butthead, King of the Hill, and Silicon Valley). The guy is a very astute observer of human nature and most of his work drives off that skill.

Caught while stuffing down goyslop at McDonalds. See where it gets you..

Mangiare, mangiare!

I was wondering from an OPSEC perspective how he knew the CEO was staying at the Hilton. Was it that the healthcare CEO was sitting at a restaurant up the road instagramming his food while Mangiare Mangione was looking at the photos and name of the restaurant and loading his gun.

Was it that that CEO was so unconcerned about his privacy that he was just posting on social media for all the world to see what he was doing and where he was.

Or was it more that Mangione had some inside sources in the healthcare company to track him or whatever more complex methods, hacked into his schedule somehow...

Or was a patsy.

Questions if people know (that I think will help with likelihood of theories on this:
1). When we’re his buff/shirtless pics taken?
2). When did he have back surgery?
3). Any intel on his whereabouts, etc 3 months of “monk mode” before the shootings?
4). Anyone who may have associated with him from his stay in Hawaii have any info?

I saw a clip of one of his old roommates from Hawaii being interviewed. The roommate said he was a pretty social and outgoing guy so not the typical basement dweller stereotypical shooter type. The Fox News guy interviewing with him wanted something "juicy" to associate with the shooter so he tried to make a big deal out of how Luigi had suggested that the reading group they were part of start reading and discussing The Unabomber Manifesto but the guy being interviewed said there wasn't really anything sinister behind this and that they just approached it as a book that had some ideas would be interested to mull over. He also mentioned the shooter was quite athletic (hence him being jacked) but that his physical activity would come in spurts. He would be super active for a while but then might be stuck in bed for the new few days after that.

I see donations are flying in, and I see massive support for this man on social media. If he is found not guilty, or just a hung jury, it will be the first time the swamp really has felt fear. Good, most people can't even afford to get by right now, they need to know they have stolen too much and they are nowhere near worth the amount they are paid, they are just thieves.

Yes, he has an obligation to maximize profits, but that obligation doesn't extend to the point of having the company act in bad faith in rejecting valid claims.

Obviously some claims are not valid, and some fall within the written coverage provided by the insurance policy. UHC, and many other insurers, have been rejecting claims that clearly fall within the written coverage of the policy. They do this in bad faith, knowing that it will be approved eventually after they make the patient and Doctor jump through enough hoops, but knowing that many won't go to the effort needed to push through the appeals process, and many will simply die before the approval comes.

Companies can only seek to maximize profits within the bounds of good faith compliance with their contractual obligations.
Exactly - it’s not the profit motive that’s the problem - it’s being a bad actor. The problem isn’t running an insurance company. The problem is taking advantage of human suffering to maximize profit. As long as pay ins > than claims insurance companies can be profitable. Denying claims just generates a bigger profit. He did this through sketchy means.

I don't think it's wise to celebrate this, but I understand why it happened. And I don't feel sorry for the CEO. Almost seems like karma.

People will naturally resort to violence when they feel like Americans are getting screwed over again and again.

The amount of greed, corruption and bureaucracy in this country is getting out of hand.

Picturing IIMT as someone wearing clown shoes will allow you to digest his posts easier.
Well, those with "clown shoes" now outnumber those who think this was just a murder and not anger boiling over. So, buckle up, it is about to get bumpy.

If they would just be honest and state that BLM encouraging massive theft, and legal immigration, and the flooding of our borders with criminals have made it virtually impossible to run an honest insurance business and make profits, it would go a long way. Instead, we have to pretend satanic "everybody equal" and satanic immigration is a good thing, while people see their insurance costs skyrocket and their claims denied or the game of phone tag played for months on end.
