I certainly hope so.
As with most of the recent Trump appointee announcements, miles ahead of the current admin.
What action will actually be taken remains to be seen, but so far being cautiously optimistic seems reasonable.
I hope Kash will look into FBI involvement in the attempted assassinations against Trump. It's surprising that this isn't mentioned more often, but the FBI's behavior was highly suspicious, and there's every reason to believe they were involved. This would be one of the first things I'd expect a Trump appointee to look into.
I think its much worse than that. You’re looking at a scenario where the FBI is the Praetorian Guard or Janissaries to the United States. Both organizations were setup to become powerful and elite but corrupted to the point they became prime examples of the Iron Law of Bureacracy towards the respective empires they were supposed to serve.
At one point, The Praetorian Guards had appointed a Roman Emperer to literally the highest bidder and not to mention assassinated at least an emperor.
IMO, on day 1, he should reduce the FBI and CIA building to rubble or else both those organizations will control his admin or at the very least run out the clock against Kash while subverting his admin.

It wasn't just HQ guys raiding Mar a Largo. It wasn't HQ guys rounding up hapless (and often totally innocent) Americans hiding in their parents shed after J6. The fake Russian Dossier (and the Carter Page wiretap) didn't happen without local field office help. The local field offices all lined up for their BLM/DEI training while their cities suffered antifa-led organized crime violent demonstrations. The local guys arrested anti-abortion trad-Catholics. Delaware's office (Baltimore office also?) turned down the Hunter Biden laptop case - the poor computer shop owner had to fly to Albuquerque to get an audience through a family connection. Agents nationwide covered work to identify anti-vaxxers, muh white supremacists, and supposed radical conservatives (likely including this forum). Heck, it was RETIRED Agents that were actively censoring Americans via Twitter, Facebook, etc, during the previous election (totally confirmed by their owners). We have whole threads dominated by the question: "is your favorite alt-right guy/organization actually a fed honeypot?" And it is a legit question, as many are at least infiltrated, if not controlled. The sham Whitmer kidnapping case was loaded with local agents doing dirty.
None of these things happened without local agent work. Maybe not all of the agents, but enough to keep the shams rolling. It's sad, but the rot has moved down from the head, thru the neck, and is into the thoracic cavity. I don't know how to clean the agency up without killing* the patient, as it might already be dead to honest total function. *This is not a physical threat to anyone.
Don't buy the line. It's going to take a lot more than a HQ clean up.

I wonder why in the world does someone taking charge of a domestic law enforcement agency concern themselves with a foreign country. This is going to be the most israel-first cabinet in existence, and yes it will be an absolute disgrace to the majority White Christian Americans by catering to those who curse Christ. The hopium addicts seethe, first it's "they're cleaning house," then it's 9-D chess and trading options like its the stock market, but the result is always "israel first". No matter what permutation of personalities are appointed in this lament configuration of the current American political model, one will always end up with "israel first," which is the equivalent to hell.

Well said. Most just follow orders and comply. It’s a hard pill to swallow, but the reality is people defer to power and don’t think for themselves. If HQ sends out a bulletin to persecute Catholics and investigate, 90% of agents would be like ‘I was just doing my job!’
This applies to most conservatives as well. We make fun of the left for falling for hoaxes and listening to the idiots in charge but Republicans aren’t much better.
Most people have followed orders their entire life and don’t know anything else. Which is why if martial law was ever declared much of the military and PDs would follow orders and gun down and potentially kill innocent Americans, I don’t doubt that at all, it’s a sad truth.
