The Sopranos Discussion/Appreciation Thread (Renewed)

I shouldn’t be laughing so hard at this scene

Paulie and Christopher manage to make this hilarious. “ Still going this asshole.” And that Paulie makes sure to steal the cash off the waiter after shooting him dead, is hilarious .

Also, Paulie calls Christopher the next day to discus the murder over the phone. I’m like”wtf are the police and fbi retarded?!”

"That's my money Paulie!" It's funny how this show can rub it in your face just how scummy these people are and yet people were still rooting for them the whole time.

When Johnny Sac gets arrested and picked up by federal agents, Tony Sopranos was able to run away and get away successfully from the feds. He’s a total fat fuck, and he doesn’t even get picked up for questioning.

Sal vitro gets tackled and apparently arrested

Presumably, Sal Vitro doesn’t have to serve any time because the feds will realize oh he’s just the gardener. But they let Tony run?!

OK, here’s a question for anyone. @GodfatherPartTwo or anyone really.

At what point did Adriana realize that she was gonna get whacked? When Tony called on the phone, he mentioned that Christopher tried to commit suicide up in the Ramapo. That’s about 28 miles north west of New York City along the border of Orange County New Jersey. .

The sign says that they are going south towards Baltimore. And she starts crying when Sylvio takes an exit. And then she completely loses it when he stops the car in the middle of nowhere on a dirt road. So my question is at what point did Adriana realize she’s gonna die?

That's what makes the scene so scary. It's ambiguous enough to leave room for your interpretation. I feel like she knew since the start of the car ride since she was having a fantasy about running away and leaving everything, including Christopher, behind.

What’s the aftermath of Jason Barone getting taxed by Paulie for $4000 per month for having a healthy relationship with his mom?

I always imagined in my head canon that Jason Barone would leave town and never pay. If he can’t go to Tony without fear of getting beaten and killed by Paulie then what does he do?

I guess he could go to police?

Or more likely just bail?
