Crimea - 17.11.2023

"Complex attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Crimea and Kherson. November 17, 2023

In the morning, after a short break, Ukrainian formations again attacked the south of Russia, striking Crimea and the Kherson region.
First, at approximately 10:40 am, three Neptune anti-ship missiles were fired from the Alibey test site in the Odessa region.
- Two of them were shot down on approach to Sevastopol - the target was the parking of ships and boats.
- Another one was shot down not far from Cape Tarkhankut - the Armed Forces of Ukraine, apparently, intended to strike the air defense position area in this zone.
Then, after an hour, in the vicinity of the village of Perevalne, an R-100 drone fell into a field near a training ground. Apparently, the drone was suppressed by the electronic warfare crew of the Russian Armed Forces, which is why it landed on the ground, where it detonated without damaging infrastructure and civilian objects.
At the same time, a MiG-29 of the Black Sea Fleet discovered up to eight unmanned boats moving towards Sevastopol and Cape Tarkhankut. Additional aircraft and patrol boats were sent to meet them. Because of this, Ukrainian naval drones slowed down, and those that were moving towards Sevastopol turned around. Four drones were destroyed 100-120 km west of Cape Tarkhankut, and the rest, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, were destroyed later, and among them there was a landing boat.
Almost at the same time as the attack on Crimea, Ukrainian formations launched several combined attacks on the Kherson region: MiG-29 fighters from Kanatovo and Uman fired several missiles, probably decoys. And crews of the HIMARS MLRS from the Kherson region struck Askaniya-Nova and Chaplynka with four rockets. According to preliminary data, there was no damage to infrastructure or losses.
As in previous times, the combined attack occurred exactly after a drone raid: the day before, three drones were shot down near Crimea. And this happened immediately after the weather improved. And at the same time there was an American RQ-4B drone in the air."

Kupyansk - 17.11.2023

"The situation in the Kupyansk sector as of 14:00 /Moscow time/ November 17, 2023

Positional battles are still going in the Kupyansk sector.
There are no active clashes at the Synkivka-Lyman Pershyi direction - only isolated shooting battles. Thanks to the disabling of most of the crossings through the Oskil River, the supplies for the Armed Forces of Ukraine go all the way through Borova, which increases the logistics burden.
Russian troops, after advancing to the Timkivka tract, are gaining a foothold near its surroundings. The combined detachments of the 41st and 54th Mechanized Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hold their lines, despite the losses..
At the same time, the enemy reserves near Kupyansk are present in sufficient quantities to continue the defense of the fortified area. But even this plays into the hands of the Russian Army, since the Ukrainian command is forced to keep forces in this area instead of strengthening other directions.
The transfer of an armored unit, from an unidentified brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was noted at the Kupyansk-Dvorichna line. If tanks have been deployed to the Oskil bank, then most likely they will be used from closed firing positions to attack the line of contact.
And to the west of Dvorichna there is a HIMARS MLRS position area. Given the appearance of long-range MLRS in the area, intense attacks on Russian troops and logistics routes deep in the front should be expected in the coming days."

Donetsk-Avdiivka - 19.11.2023

"Battle for Avdiivka, situation by the end of November 19, 2023

Russian military personnel are building on their success in the Avdiivka sector of the front.

Northern flank
There have been no significant changes on the northern flank of Avdiivka in recent days: Russian troops managed to expand the zone of control around the treatment facilities near the Coke Plant and occupy several enemy positions on the approaches to the enterprise.
There is no talk of an imminent assault on a well-fortified facility: artillery of the Russian Armed Forces and the Russian Aerospace Forces are almost continuously operating on it, suppressing enemy activity.
At the same time, fighting continues towards Novokalynove and Stepove/Petrivske.

Southern flank
On the southern flank, soldiers of the Russian Army managed to break through the enemy’s defenses in the industrial zone near the Yasynuvata-2 Station, this was achieved thanks to the competent coordination of work of the Russian Aerospace Forces, artillery crews and assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces.
The fortifications in this area have been controlled by Ukrainian formations since the beginning of the so-called “ATO” in 2014. The enemy, who did not expect a sharp breakthrough in the defense, retreated, and now the cleanup and expansion of the zone of control to the west continues. However, it is too early to indulge in reports of victory: the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to draw up reserves to the site and are preparing for a counterattack.
Information from the network about the complete liberation of the "Tsarska Ohota" recreation center is premature; fierce fighting continues at the site.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine, in turn, again tried to attack in the area of the waste heap near Gorlovka/Horlivka, but came under Russian artillery fire and retreated, losing a couple dozen of people. At the moment, the top of the waste heap is not controlled by either side."

Donetsk-Avdiivka - 22.11.2023

"Battle for Avdiivka, situation as of 15:00 /Moscow time/ November 22, 2023

The Russian Armed Forces continue to build on their success in the Avdiivka sector of the front.
Today on the southern flank, assault detachments of the Russian Army managed to take the enemy by surprise and quickly occupy five buildings in the industrial zone. The particular value of the advance in this area is due to the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been building fortifications here since 2014.
There was no counterattack in response to the surprise attack, since Ukrainian forces did not have time to request reinforcements, which allowed Russian assault detachments to successfully gain a foothold in new positions. However, we can expect that in the near future the enemy will concentrate part of its reserves in this direction in order to slow down the advance of the Russian Armed Forces further to the west.
At the same time, on the southern flank, in the area of the 9th "Khimik" microdistrict, massive air strikes are reported on the facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with RBK-500 cluster bombs, the use of which was previously tested in the Staromaiorske area."

Kherson - 23.11.2023

"The situation in the Kherson direction as of 18:00 /Moscow time/ November 23, 2023

After a slight improvement in the weather, Ukrainian marines intensified their attacks in the forest adjacent to Krynky. The positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the village itself are already quite strong, so the enemy concentrated its efforts on expanding the bridgehead.
As a result of several days of activity of the assault detachments of the "Katran" marine strike group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they were able to advance a little to the south in the forests. Their main goal is to gain a foothold under the cover of trees and continue moving deeper.
At the same time, consolidated formations of the 35th, 36th, 38th Marine Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine equipped strongholds in private houses near the forest. Ammunition was delivered there, including Carl Gustaf RPGs, and ten marines were deployed to one of the positions last night along with "Bumblebee" flamethrowers to carry out an assault on Russian positions.
At night, Russian artillerymen carried out targeted shelling of the crossing areas on the Frolov Island, as a result of which five marines were wounded and killed. Four more were injured during the evacuation.
Similarly, Russian troops shelled the surroundings of the large and small railway bridges on the Oleshky Island, disrupting the rotation of forward units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
So far, the enemy has not managed to achieve a significant result in the area. However, the intensity of attacks and attempts to enter the forest area has increased. If previously Ukrainian marines were only “probing” the defense, now they are trying to penetrate 200-300 meters deep, which, as the soil hardens, can lead to larger-scale attacks from Krynky."

Kherson - 24.11.2023

"The situation in the Kherson direction as of 16:00 /Moscow time/ November 24, 2023

Last night, Russian soldiers of the 810th Marine and the 144th Motor Rifle Brigades carried out a sudden counterattack, unexpectedly for the Ukrainian marines who were holed up in the forest adjacent to Krynky.
As a result of a swift attack, formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were knocked out of the forest, and the assault detachments of the "Katran" marine strike group began to flee from their positions, sowing chaos and disorder in the ranks of the enemy.
During a short battle, Ukrainian marines pulled towards the shore, requesting evacuation, during which they again came under fire from Russian MLRS and suffered losses.
At night, two new assault detachments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were deployed from the right bank to carry out a counterattack, but the Russian Armed Forces are holding their positions.
At the moment, there are no enemy camps left in the forest, and all units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are concentrated in private buildings near the banks of the Dnieper."

Donetsk-Avdiivka - 25.11.2023

"Battle for Avdiivka, situation by the end of November 25, 2023

A couple of hours ago, Russian fighters, after several days of heavy and bloody fighting, cleared the last building in the Yasynuvata-2 industrial zone in the south of the Avdiivka fortified area. The industrial zone was held by Ukrainian formations since 2014, and now, despite all the fortifications erected and the transfer of reserves, it has come under the complete control of the Russian Army.
This line has not only symbolic significance, but is also important tactically, since it is located on a hill relative to the southern outskirts of Avdiivka. The southern neighborhoods will now be shelled from this line, which will worsen the situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
At the same time, on the northern flank, Russian units also achieved small but extremely important results: servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces were able to gain a foothold at the railway adjacent to the Coke Plant. During a successful assault from the ash dump and pumping station, it was possible to completely knock out the enemy from the site and expand the control zone at the plant.
In intercepted communications, Ukrainian servicemen complain about the lack of support. According to members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the command completely abandoned the Avdiivka garrison, leaving its subordinates to fend for themselves.
At the same time, the transfer of reinforcements continues. Separate formations of the 116th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were transferred from the Zaporozhye direction, and the 45th Separate Rifle Battalion was transferred under the subordination of the 31st Mechanized Brigade due to heavy losses in the brigade."

November 26 - ukrainian drone raid on Russia.

"Massive raid of Ukrainian UAVs on Russian rear regions. November 26, 2023

The Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a massive drone raid on the rear areas of Russia. At the moment, more than 20 targets are known to have been shot down.
In the Bryansk region, four drones were shot down on approach to the city and another one in the sky over the Karachevsky district: according to the authorities, there were no casualties or destruction.
In the Smolensk region, one UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was suppressed on approach to the regional capital, but there were no casualties.
In the Kaluga region, targets were intercepted in the Dzerzhinsky and Zhukovsky districts, there were no wounded or damage.
In Tula, one of the drones crashed into a residential high-rise building: a man received shrapnel wounds and has now been taken to the hospital. A second UAV was shot down near the 1st South-Eastern residential complex; the area is currently cordoned off. Another drone was shot down by air defense crews in the sky over the region, and according to some reports, another one was suppressed by electronic warfare and fell within the city limits.
Five UAVs were shot down in the sky over the Moscow region: air defense shot down targets in the area of Naro-Fominsk, Podolsk, as well as in the Ramensky and Odintsovo urban districts. There is damage to the infrastructure, but no injuries have been reported."

Soledar - 27.11.2023

"The situation in the Soledar direction as of 15:00 /Moscow time/ November 27, 2023

The intensity of fighting along almost the entire length of the front decreased due to worsening weather conditions. Nevertheless, positional battles and local attempts at forays remained, including at Bakhmut.
The command of the Ukrainian group “Soledar” expects the activation of the Russian Armed Forces in the Klishchiivka and Krasne/Ivanivske directions. According to the enemy, Russian troops intend to occupy the heights adjacent to the villages, which, in principle, fits into the logic.
Because of such fears, forces of the 23rd Special Purpose Battalion of the 1st Separate Presidential Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were transferred to Krasne/Ivanivsk to help the 57th Separate Rifle Battalion. And immediately upon arrival, the assault detachments of this formation tried to attack to the southeast, but to no avail.
Strengthening in this area is due to the deterioration of morale in the 57th Separate Rifle Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and general losses in manpower in various Ukrainian brigades during repeated attacks, the results of which are insignificant in comparison with the price.
The movement of the 515th "Iron Wolves" Battalion of the 1st Special Purpose Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Kharkov region is also being completed in Chasiv Yar. The special unit will replace the 77th Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which will be withdrawn to restore its combat capability. A similar replenishment of forces was carried out in the 80th Air Assault Brigade - it is not yet possible to completely rotate it, so 290 mobilized citizens were sent to replenish it."

Kherson - 27.11.2023

"The situation in the Kherson direction as of 16:00 /Moscow time/ November 27, 2023

Yesterday, right before a strong storm that affected several regions in southern Russia, Ukrainian marines tried to again wedge themselves into a forest belt in the central part of Krynky. Two assault detachments of the 2nd Battalion of the 38th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine secured a foothold to the south of the small forest and began to equip positions there. As a result of Russian artillery fire and the subsequent sortie of a reconnaissance group of the RF Armed Forces, the enemy suffered losses and retreated to reserve positions to the west.
At the same time, east of the small forest near the greenhouses, the assault group of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine occupied a stronghold, where they immediately came under Russian artillery fire. On the night of November 27, during a storm, the wounded and dead were evacuated to the Frolov Island.
However, taking advantage of bad weather conditions and low visibility, separate units of the marine strike group "Katran" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to hold the lines in the forests adjacent to Krynky. Copters with a grenade drop system and ammunition were sent there to strengthen the lines.
Rotation and replenishment of supplies have been reestablished, which allows the enemy to maintain a bridgehead in the village and attempt to gain a foothold in the forests, but unsuccessfully due to a change in the tactics of the Russian command.
However, as the soil freezes, Ukrainian activity will probably increase, and not only in this area. This is indicated by today's sortie of marines in the Poima area, which was quickly repulsed by Russian artillery fire."

Donetsk-Zaporozhye - 27.11.2023

"The situation in the Vremivka sector as of 18:00 /Moscow time/ November 27, 2023

After a relative calm, soldiers of the 394th Motor Rifle Regiment of the 127th Motor Rifle Division of the Russian Armed Forces resumed the assault on forest belts at the Pryyutne-Staromaiorske line. And, as a result of a daring foray, Russian military personnel managed to drive units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine into a stronghold and subsequently clear it of the enemy.
Thanks to this, units of the Russian Army occupied more advantageous positions, advancing from the Hrusheva Gully to Staromaiorske, where detachments of the 128th Territorial Defence Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine settled.
Against this background, forces of the 175th Battalion of the 121st Territorial Defence Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including ATGM crews, were transferred to the northwestern outskirts of the settlement. Previously, this formation operated in the Kherson direction, and the personnel was trained to conduct assault operations."

It seems that the wife of the Ukraine's Director of Military Intelligence was recently poisoned to death.

This follows from earlier this month when some explosion happened from one of the gifts given to General Zalushni (the Head of the Ukrainian Military) at his birthday party, killing his closest aide/advisor but missing the intended target (Zalushni himself).

With death now knocking on the doorstep of Ukraine's highest political and military leadership, I would expect many of them to begin entering into panic mode. Obviously, these "leaders" now know that some people in their circles cannot be trusted, which will absolutely break down communication at the highest levels.

Kupyansk - 29.11.2023

"The situation in the Kupyansk sector as of 12:00 /Moscow time/ November 29, 2023

Near Kupyansk, military personnel of the “West” group of troops of the Russian Armed Forces, during several weeks of systematic advance deep into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, knocked out Ukrainian formations from several forest plantations south and southwest of Lyman Pershyi and entered the village of Synkivka.
This settlement can actually be called a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area, despite its small size the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine deployed large reserves to defend the village, but Russian fighters managed to gain a foothold.
As a result of the latest battles, the Russian Armed Forces caused significant damage to the enemy. According to the intercepted data, the combined units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost one killed and 20 wounded, and 30 went missing, which can be equated to liquidated or captured.
To the east, at the Ivanivka-Kyslivka line, positional battles continue without visible changes in the front. But in the vicinity of the abandoned village of Timkivka/Zagoruikovka, Russian troops were able to wedge themselves into the enemy’s defenses. Despite the absence of any fortified positions, this former settlement is located on a hill along the Timkivka-Ivanivka-Kyslivka line where the Ukrainian command built its defenses.
Because of this, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine urgently began to transfer reinforcements to strengthen the second defense line in Podoly and Petropavlivka. Also, three unidentified units were transferred from the borders with the Belgorod region to Kupyansk."

Svatove - 29.11.2023

"The situation in the Svatove-Kreminna sector as of 13:00 /Moscow time/ November 29, 2023

In addition to the Kupyansk sector, a slight activation of the front is noted further to the south in the Svatove-Kreminna sector. This zone, in particular Borova, is important forthe Armed Forces of Ukraine in supplying the group in Kupyansk due to the destruction of crossings through the Oskil River.

The other day, Russian assault detachments carried out a daring attack on the strongholds of the 21st Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine east of the village of Terny south of the Zhuravka Gully.
As a result of the battle, Ukrainian formations fled from their positions, and reinforcements were sent to help. Several groups of the 21st Mechanized Brigade with three infantry fighting vehicles counterattacked, but unsuccessfully, suffering losses in manpower and one infantry fighting vehicle.
At the same time, movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the Makiivka-Nevske line was also noted. The enemy expects the Russian Army to become more active along the Zhuravka Gully-Makiivka line, which could create problems for the grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including the Kupyansk sector.
Against this background, shelling of Russian positions, by tanks and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, intensified along the line of contact. Russian soldiers captured one of these moments yesterday: a Leopard 1A5 DK was firing east of the village of Vishnevoye when a Russian shell landed on it, and as a result, the crew abandoned the vehicle in an open field, which became the first documented loss of this type of tank in the conflict."

Soledar - 29.11.2023

"The situation in the Soledar direction as of 19:00 /Moscow time/ November 29, 2023

On the flanks of Bakhmut, Russian troops seized the initiative from the enemy, who had expended resources during unsuccessful attempts to encircle the city.

Northern flank
To the northwest of Bakhmut, units of the 98th Guards Airborne Division of the Russian Armed Forces repulsed an attack at the Berkhivka Reservoir and launched a counteroffensive in the direction of Bohdanivka and Khromove.
As a result, Russian paratroopers managed to expand the zone of control around the reservoir and recapture what the Armed Forces of Ukraine had occupied after several months at the cost of hundreds of lives, and also successfully advanced to Khromove.
Even during the assault on Bakhmut itself by the forces of the Wagner PMC, the village was an important hub for supplying the garrison of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Now the liberation of the settlement will create the preconditions for further offensive on the southern outskirts of Bakhmut. Khromove is located not far from Krasne/Ivanivske - the village from which shelling of the positions of the Russian Armed Forces in Klishchiivka and the surrounding area came. Now, units of the Russian Army will be able to improve their positions at the Bakhmut dachas and in the direction of Krasne/Ivanivske, attacking it from two sides.

Southern flank
Changes in the configuration of the front have already affected the line at Klishchiivka, where the intensity of the fire has significantly decreased. Probably some of the guns and mortars of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were pulled away from the front line.
At the moment, fighters of the Russian Armed Forces are systematically knocking out the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the approaches to Klishchiivka. The village itself is not of significant importance due to its location in the lowlands. The heights to the north of it, and in the direction of Krasne/Ivanivske are important, for which the struggle is taking place."

Kherson - 30.11.2023

"The situation in the Kherson direction as of 14:00 /Moscow time/ November 30, 2023

In Krynky in the Kherson direction, the situation essentially remains the same: Ukrainian formations, having gained a foothold along the outskirts of the forest, are trying to move deeper, but to no avail.
Yesterday, two assault detachments of the Marine Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, entrenched in the so-called greenhouses, came under Russian artillery fire, and then under attack of a Russian reconnaissance group. As a result of the shooting battle, the Ukrainian marines retreated and later were evacuated from the northern outskirts.
At night, two new assault detachments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in two boats, landed on the northern outskirts of the village. And at the same time, a rotation of personnel was carried out under the railway bridge, which the day before came under attack by the Russian Armed Forces.
In general, the situation in Krynky and the actions of the marine strike group "Katran" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have turned into a routine event and come down to one model: transfer of forces to the left bank - movement into the forest - coming under Russian artillery fire - evacuation to the right bank with losses.
The main threat here is that, despite the large number of killed and wounded, the size of the Marine Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine still allows them to try to solve the assigned tasks, while forcing the Russian command to react. And in the coming weeks, the soil on the banks of the Dnieper will freeze and the water will be covered with ice, which will increase the likelihood of ground attacks not only on Krynky, but also in other sections of the front, especially where there is already a bridgehead."

Donetsk-Marinka - 01.12.2023

A few hours ago, reports appeared about a complete clearing of Marinka: the reason was a morning video with a Russian flag hoisted over a house on the Komsomolskaya Street on the westernmost outskirts of the city - coordinates: 47.9455520, 37.4847957
However, it is very premature to talk about the capture of Marinka - the enemy still holds positions in the northwestern part of the settlement. And to completely destroy the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this area, a lot more work needs to be done.
The difficulties in carrying out assault operations are still the same: the city is in complete ruins, which are perfectly visible from all directions and from the air. The fighting actually goes from basement to basement - there are simply no other shelters in this area. This creates difficulties in consolidation at the captured positions.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine, however, have similar problems and along the slowly advance of the Russian Armed Forces, it will become increasingly more difficult for them to supply their strongholds in the ruins of Marinka."

Donetsk-Avdiivka - 01.12.2023

"Battle for Avdiivka, situation by the end of December 1, 2023

In the Avdiivka sector, Russian troops slowly but surely continue to push through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine around the Avdiivka fortified area.

Northern flank
On the northern flank, the main battles are taking place in the area of the railway line near Stepove/Petrivske, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine recently counterattacked and ousted the Russian Armed Forces from the outskirts of the village. However, after several blows to them, they retreated back to their original positions.
Battles also continue near the Avdiivka coke plant, where so far the main efforts of the Russian Armed Forces are focused on delivering fire defeat on the powerful stronghold in order to avoid casualties among personnel.
At the same time, soldiers of the Russian Army successfully advanced south of Novokalynove, occupying strongholds along the reservoir. Having successfully advanced across the railway embankment, the position of the Russian Armed Forces significantly improved in the context of the attack on Novokalynove.

Southern flank
To the west of Avdiivka, assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces, supported by artillery and aviation, occupied important positions on the hills east of Sjeverne.
At the same time, it was possible to capture enemy strongholds to the west, which worsens the position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine not only in Sjeverne, but also in the south in Pervomaiske, where, as a result of a successful breakthrough, the Russian Armed Forces advanced along the reservoir.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine in this area offer less resistance than before. Losses in manpower and successes of the RF Armed Forces affect the morale of the enemy, which simplifies further assault on their positions. At the moment, the main problem of the Russian Army is caused by mines that litter the fields around the villages."

Crimea - 05.12.2023

"Massive raid of Ukrainian drones at Crimea. December 5, 2023

After midnight, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched several groups of drones from the outskirts of Zaporozhye in the direction of Crimea, the route of which skirted the airspace of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
- The first two drones were shot down over Henichesk, and the rest headed across the Sea of Azov to Kerch and Feodosia.

There was an RQ-4B UAV in the air, which, after the 31st Air Defense Division of the RF Armed Forcesn began operating, departed for Romanian airspace. Typically, such drone raids are intended to check and evaluate the work of the 31st Air Defense Division in the east of the peninsula. And only after, if we take into account previous attempts, a missile attack occurs.

The liberation of Khromove about a week ago can actually be considered a transfer of initiative to the Russian Army in the Soledar direction. At the moment, the Russian Armed Forces are attacking in three areas at once, and the situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is getting worse.

Southern flank
On the southern flank of Bakhmut, combined detachments of the Russian Armed Forces successfully stormed the heights adjacent to Klishchiivka. As a result, the Russian Armed Forces captured the tactically important height 235.7 in the north of the village.
Control over this position allows Russian Army to keep under constant surveillance all approaches to Klishchiivka, as well as forest belts further north in the direction of Krasne/Ivanivske. And the formations of the 5th Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can not do anything about this due to the complete dominance of the RF Armed Forces.
At the same time, soldiers of the 102nd Regiment of the 150th Motor Rifle Division of the Russian Armed Forces are with great success developing an offensive in the dacha cooperative southwest of Bakhmut, lost back in June. With further advancement, this will seriously worsen the position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Krasne/Ivanivske.

Northern flank
To the north-west of Bakhmut, Russian paratroopers continue their assault from the Berkhivka Reservoir. Now the battles are going on for an important stronghold, equipped in the Villanovsky Nursery.
At the same time, units of the 92nd battalion of the 107th Territorial Defence Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to counterattack from the outskirts of Bohdanivka, but the attack was easily repulsed. And the enemy assault group was destroyed with a retaliatory strike.
And that’s not all - Russian fighters have intensified their offensive in the north of Soledar. Operating from Bilohorivka, servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces managed to significantly penetrate the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine along the railway line east of Vesele.This advance makes it possible to begin to envelope the Vesele-Razdolovka line, which complicates the position of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area. With a further offensive, this may force the enemy to retreat."

Fighting continues in the vicinity of Synkivka near Kupyansk. Russian troops, having gained a foothold on the northern outskirts of the village, took up defensive positions, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are building a new line in the event of the complete loss of Synkivka.
Strongholds and powerful fortifications are being equipped in Petropavlivka. Judging by the activity of the 41st Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this is where the defensive line will be built after the Synkivka-Zagoruikovka line is broken through.
Reinforcements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have also been transferred from other areas. The forces of the 3rd battalion of the 43rd Mechanized Brigade, consisting entirely of mobilized citizens, arrived in the forests near Masyutivka.
The formations of the 108th separate mountain assault battalion of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were withdrawn from the Svatove sector to the forests northeast of Kupyansk and near Synkivka. Due to the need to strengthen the defense of Kupyansk, another sector has been weakened.
In addition, an unidentified battalion of the 15th Border Detachment of the State Border Service of Ukraine appeared in Kupyansk and the surrounding area. The involvement of border guards indicates a certain shortage of personnel in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area."

But in the last few days, Russian troops have been actively processing enemy positions in the forests and in Krynky itself. Both aerial bombs and artillery shells were used, which drove the Ukrainian formations back to the starting point with losses.
However, the situation actually remains unchanged. The command of the marine strike group "Katran" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is transferring exactly as many assault detachments as necessary to hold previously occupied positions.
At the same time, in the central part of Krynki there is an increase in the number of forward groups of the 38th Marine Brigade, as well as the 505th Separate Marine Battalion of the 37th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They set up shelters in private houses.

Similar activity of assault detachments of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is noted on the edge of the controlled zone in the west of the village. Ukrainian sappers laid mines on the approaches and also equipped firing points.
To the west, two assault detachments of the “Thunder” tactical group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were transferred on two boats to the Oleshky Island, which, apparently, will rotate forces under the railway bridge. The cover of the watercraft was provided by the "Bukovel" electronic warfare crew from Kherson.
More interesting in the context of the Kherson direction is the enemy’s movement in the direction of the Kinburn Peninsula-Hola Prystan. There, for several weeks, the CAESAR self-propelled guns from the outskirts of Kutsurub and Ochakiv have been hitting Russian positions without response.
For a long time, in Ochakiv itself, as well as in Kobleve, there have been units of the Marine Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Special Operations Forces group “South”, which are testing communications equipment and UAVs. And to the east of Ochakiv, at least two Gepard anti-aircraft systems are located, covering this area from attacks by the Geran UAVs.
According to some reports, DRGs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already landed on the Kinburn Peninsula several times under the cover of artillery and UAVs from the Pervomaiske Island. The long-term absence of fire in these areas creates conditions convenient for the enemy to accumulate resources and subsequently attack in this area. The terrain for crossing and landing is quite suitable. In addition, the coastal zone is convenient for storing small boats and naval drones, given the attention to Odessa and the lack of attention to the Dnieper-Bug estuary.

Russian troops continue to recapture territories that the Armed Forces of Ukraine previously managed to capture after the rotation of units of the Wagner PMC to regular units of the Russian Armed Forces.

Northern flank
On the northern flank, Russian Armed Forces managed to reach the eastern outskirts of Bohdanivka, forward units of the Russian Army are located 100 meters from the first houses.
At the same time, from the southwestern outskirts of Dubovo-Vasylivka, an offensive is developing in the direction of Hryhorivka and to the northwest in the direction of Orikhovo-Vasylivka: the Russian Armed Forces are fighting for the Kudlin Ravine, which separates Russian troops from a nearby settlement.
To the south, Russian assault units from the 200th Motor Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces finished clearing theVillanovsky Nursery, where a powerful fortified area of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was equipped.

But to fully liberate the southwestern flank, it is necessary to occupy the heights located to the southwest of Klishchiivka and the so-called “Klishchiivka Ridge”. In case of successful advance of the Russian Army and occupation of the ridge, the restoration of positions near Andriivka will be facilitated.

As for the attack on Chasiv Yar, there is a lot of work to be done: access is possible from Bohdanivka and Hryhorivka, for which battles are yet to begin, and then, on the northern outskirts of Chasiv Yar, several tracts, a mine and a quarry will cause problems. It is even more difficult to develop an offensive from the direction of Krasne/Ivanivske - the offensive would have to go through the lowland."
