The future of flying

No wonder the pilot couldn’t concentrate.

Do muslim airlines allow female pilots ?

A lot less than the global average, but Emirates, Qatar do allow it.

IndiGo is an Indian airliner, while Wasaya is a northern Canadian airline mostly for "first nations" people.

This kind of puts into perspective Endavor Air's DEI activism, they have been hiring 57% women pilots.

Do you guys remember the male pilot who stole a plane and crashed it as an act of despair, saying how he would never get hired as a white male? Now you can put a face on his suicide, the HR depts of DEI Air.

57% is crazy, wow. I would estimate maaaybe ~5% of the female population have sufficient masculine qualities that they would make effective pilots. That is to say, the actually good female pilots I've known are basically dudes in their personality/disposition and approach to problem-solving. The rest fall into the category that another user mentioned where they want to play dress-up and don't fully grasp the life-and-death responsibilities that are in their hands.

Flying a plane is difficult enough for men. There are thousands of airplane crash vids on YouTube with no one but men flying them. I can't imagine women doing it but let's not pretend that only women crash planes. It's exceptionally difficult and the smallest error results in a crash.

Nobody will forget Richard Russell, the Sky King. He was only a pilot for the time he flew that plane.

Which is why they used to have the requirement of 1000 hours of difficult flying.

Now you just need to be a woman or minority.

So Qatar airways it is then.

This exact same thing happened to me landing at LAX last year. We were almost on the ground, probably 20 feet, and all of a sudden the pilot hits the throttle and pulls up like Maverick going after Cougar. He pulled up so hard I thought for a second we would stall. Once we were out over the ocean and circling back around, he came on the radio and announced that a plane had failed to clear the runway at the last second and he was forced to go round. Might not be that uncommon, though my dad was with me on that flight and he said it was a first for him, and he’s flown every week for work for about the last decade.
