The Climate Change Delusion Thread

In the next step they will tax our farts.

This of course means that we have to pay more for healthy foods like meat. Denmark recently decided to reduce it's farmland (which is substantial) in favour of returning it to nature reserves etc. There's definitely a war on traditional agriculture going on, and they plan to move food production to factories and labs. Very concerning!

Venice was predicted to be basically underwater years or decades before today, but it's pretty much the exact same. It's absolutely comical.

Yes, I bring this up to people fooled by the global warming hoax all the time. Why aren't sea levels rising?

Turns out globohomo has an official explanation:

Global sea level trends and relative sea level trends are different measurements. Just as the surface of the Earth is not flat, the surface of the ocean is also not flat—in other words, the sea surface is not changing at the same rate globally. Sea level rise at specific locations may be more or less than the global average due to many local factors: subsidence, upstream flood control, erosion, regional ocean currents, variations in land height, and whether the land is still rebounding from the compressive weight of Ice Age glaciers.

You can see their big fancy charts of sea levels rising worldwide:

In some places, its as much as 1 foot per 100 years!!!!! Sound the alarms!!

Realistically, the sea level rise is so imperceptible and occurs over centuries, that we have to ask if this would have not happened without human intervention? 1 ft or even 3 ft per century is absolutely nothing, and is so slow it gives more than enough time for people to adapt. But this isn't good enough to fear monger the ban of all carbon based fuels.

Psuedointellectual reddit-types will say something like "but this is averages, even 1' a century can be significant because it refers to the average global sea level, in some localized areas this can be devastating!

Even if it rose 1' a year in any local area, that would be more than ample time to prepare. Cmon people, use your heads, maybe we should stop living 5 ft from the coast in storm prone climates? We have Hurricane Katrina then two decades later the population is on track to fully return and everyone goes back to living like they always were - a sign of both humanities remarkable ability to recover, adapt, and preserve our way of life, and a sign of our stubbornness and flat out stupidity.

George Carlin fits in perfectly here:

WHOI Plans Geoengineering Experiment To Combat Climate Change In Waters Off Nantucket

Screen-Shot-2024-07-07-at-4.26.33-PM_e3a40f7172c3e2402cbe8afa5c931de5.jpg

Starting this August, the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution will conduct a small-scale study on the effects of ocean alkalinity enhancement, a process that artificially increases the pH of ocean water to combat human-caused ocean acidification. The experiment will be conducted in the waters southwest of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.

Dubbed the “LOC-NESS” project - short for Locking away Ocean Carbon in the Northeast Shelf and Slope - the experiment involves the dumping of 20 metric tonnes of sodium hydroxide (also known as lye and caustic soda) and up to 75 kilograms of tracer dye into the ocean followed by five days of on-site, 24-hour monitoring of alkalinity dispersal, CO2 uptake, and environmental impacts.

The experiment will be “one of the first of its kind in the world, and the first of its kind in the Northeast United States.”

If successful, ocean alkalinity enhancement could increase the ocean’s ability to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, lessening the effects of climate change. As the world’s biggest carbon sink, the ocean is a key part of the fight against climate change, and a more alkaline ocean can sequester more carbon—and is healthier for aquatic life. Carbon dioxide interacts with naturally occurring chemicals in ocean water to form bicarbonate, which can store carbon dioxide longer than most biological sinks. By pouring sodium hydroxide into the water, Woods Hole hopes to test whether humans can boost ocean alkalinity and reduce atmospheric carbon dioxide in one stroke.

It's 12 September and this morning I woke to see ice on the roofs of parked cars. I live in the North of England, but to reach freezing in early September is not the norm. In fact the average low temp in this month is 11 centigrade. I haven't gone out and checked yet, but the few runner beans that I have after one of the coldest summers I can remember, well they're probably frost damaged now.

Perhaps we are in the early stages of a Grand Solar Minimum after all.

Yesterday I was sitting on the toilet, where many of us men come up with our best ideas (though this might not be one of them) , and I wondered to myself if TPTB (who love kabbalistic inversion) know we're entering a GSM and are consequently flooding Europe and North America with migrants in order create many competing factions for the coming famines, bearing in mind that much farmland is now in corporate hands and in Europe the commie EU is paying farmers to leave land fallow or rewild it.

Just some thoughts.

MSM Journos Inadvertently Reveal Shocking Truth About Global Warming

In recent years, particularly around mid-July (the peak of the Northern Hemisphere summer), there has been a noticeable surge in headlines featuring the "hottest day" ever on record in corporate media outlets - which is of course pushed by climate alarmist journalists citing questionable studies. This timing coincides with hot weather, so naturally, it's quite convincing to persuade readers that the world's oceans are boiling and planet Earth will ignite into a fireball unless drastic actions are taken - such as more climate taxes, 'carbon credits,' banning cow farts, prohibiting new petrol-powered vehicle sales by X date, and pushing spending bills to procure more solar panels from China, to save the planet.

The problem is that corporate media only focuses on recent history - and not "in context" (as they love to say). Context is particularly important when it comes to climate change - as their narrative collapses when looking at a long enough timeline.

To wit...
a funny thing happened when the Washington Post tried to map out half a billion years of global temperatures and the "disaster of global warming" ...

WaPo journalists cited a new study about Earth's global surface temperatures over the last 485 million years. In 2023, Earth's average temperature reached 58.96 F (14.98 C), well below the average 96.8 degrees F (36 degrees Celsius) the study showed around 100 million years ago. The trend shows Earth's temperatures have been sliding for 50 million years.

Of course, all they can focus on is the most recent blip (supported, as astute readers know, by faulty data).

[A] growing chorus of climate scientists are saying the temperature readings are faulty and that the trillions of dollars pouring in are based on a problem that doesn’t exist.

More than 90 percent of NOAA’s temperature monitoring stations have a heat bias, according to Anthony Watts, a meteorologist, senior fellow for environment and climate at The Heartland Institute, author of climate website Watts Up With That, and director of a study that examined NOAA’s climate stations.

“And with that large of a number, over 90 percent, the methods that NOAA employs to try to reduce this don’t work because the bias is so overwhelming,” Mr. Watts told The Epoch Times.

“The few stations that are left that are not biased because they are, for example, outside of town in a field and are an agricultural research station that’s been around for 100 years ... their data gets completely swamped by the much larger set of biased data. There’s no way you can adjust that out.” -Epoch Times
Maybe, just maybe, the level of human-caused global warming doom porn pushed by the government, corporate media outlets, global NGOs, and far-left billionaires is not as apocalyptic as they make it sound.

Which of course means (and as we knew), all those idiot kids running around the West, throwing paint on private jets and artwork, and gluing their hands to highways, are doing it for nothing - and are indeed in a cult.

Climate grift.

Good site. Exposes the truth about CO2, here’s a good article:

For all the talk about world hunger, it seems that more CO2 emissions would be the first step in solving that problem.

We need to reduce the population immediately so that global warming doesn’t reduce the population in the near future and we are going to do it by teaching girls to avoid having babies at all costs (empowering women). We have to kill ourselves or we are all going to die.

This one could go in a number of other threads as well.

Among the policies the scientists recommend for rapid adoption are gradually reducing the human population through empowering education and rights for girls and women; protecting, restoring or rewilding ecosystems; and integrating climate change education into global curriculums to boost awareness and action.”

Exactly. "We need to kill ourselves to save ourselves" schpiel.

It's even more 'funny' how they pretend this mantra applies to Christians.

They all drank the koolaid it seems.

This is where Russia and other countries can scuttle their plans, they are actually increasing their farm production and becoming not just self-sufficient but starting to export. At this rate they will also host European and American farmers who will find refuge there with pro-farming policies, plentiful cheap land and low operating costs (energy, fertilizers, equipment etc), and pro-family/pro-freedom policies as the cherry on top, as farmers tend to be conservative Christians.

Russia will pick up market share from countries like Denmark and Holland, countries under the grip of globalists, that have been agricultural export powerhouses despite their small size.
