The timing for SA to want to do this is very bad, if it was last year it wouldnt have been so bad but to announce this after sanctions threat from USA is not in the best interest of SA citizens in my opinion and will harm our already fragile economy.

This might also be the reason why we have been getting intentional power cuts, an excuse for the government to do this, the ANC politicians will obviously make big bucks from this deal but it will harm the citizens because of the timing.

I wonder if this would also possibly start a potential war in the distant future?

I wanted to show you guys how the homeless people in Johannesburg are directing traffic, 50% of traffic lights no longer work and when theres no power its even worse, homeless people have taken this opportunity to direct traffic and make some extra money on the side, the drivers give them tips.

Thats literally 1km from my house, I drive through that intersection daily. The homeless guy in the vid is mentally challenged but does a pretty good job. There are however serious drug addicts that use the tips to feed their habit.
What I find funny as hell is that the metro police and the SAPS actually wait patiently in traffic and obey the drug addict homeless guys directions.

Iv been through this intersection too, its unbelievable how such a busy intersection hasnt had functioning traffic lights for so many years, it boggles my mind because that area has high tax revenue, Yet we paying the police tax money and they not doing their jobs, In South Africa I truly believe we should defund the police and just keep a few pen pushing office cops to stamp forms we really dont need them and would be better off without them in my opinion.

I don't get that. Like, I really don't. How can anybody spend time around Blacks and around Whites and have the opinion that Blacks are less hostile and more civilized?
If you simply prefer Blacks and think Whites are arrogant or weird or whatever, okay, but throwing stones made of animal-comparisons from your grass hut betrays a lot of chutzpah.
