Not sure how to put the 'smug' emoji in a message but for all his flaws, Pres. Trump is certainly an entertainer, and I for one am thoroughly enjoying watching these pearl clutching European leaders scramble around like cockroaches when someone flicks on a light switch...
Trump is not inviting the the pro-war EU Globalist leaders - including Ukraine - for peace talks with Russia because he knew they want to keep the war going and are not interested in Russia-Ukraine peace solutions. Also, Trump sent Vance to the Munich Security Conference last week to give a speech, which is why we are seeing pissed off EU Globalist leaders having a massive meltdown.

No, it has nothing to do with whether or not they want to continue the war. Trump probably doesn't care about that (too) much.

Far more pressing is that the USA has paid for at least 80% of the current war. Europe is a bunch of moochers, and Ukraine is a legit welfare baby momma. None of these people matter.

If they aren't going to pony up, they can shut up. Trump is lighting a fire under their ass. If they want a different outcome, then they must remember that $$$ talks.

The way I see it playing out is that Trump negotiates with Russia then presents a realistic scenario to Ukraine and of course Ukraine refuses because we all know what this war is really about. Then Trump says "okay hey we tried, you want to keep the killing going then you're on your own....he's all yours Europe". Broke Europe talks tough and then caves so jewlensky has no choice but to stop the grift.

Excellent comments by Lavrov regarding why the EU isn't invited. I know 5 minutes are kind of long but it's worth the watch, cause he explains all of the historic reasons behind this decision since 2014. And he also implies that justice will be served, referencing the Bible.

Anyway, what he says here is basically exactly what I've been hearing from the average Russian citizen that is fed up with the situation and actual considers Russian leadership to be too moderate / too Euro friendly in this conflict.

Last night, the Kiev regime went for what looks like an extremely desperate gambit; as usual, the tactic they chose is schizophrenic.
A swarm of Ukrainian drones hit the Kropotkinskaya oil pumping station, operated by the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC). Now, you might assume that this attack fits neatly into the series of strikes the Ukrainian military executed against Russian oil and gas infrastructure earlier - but actually it's a little more interesting than that. The pumping station is an element of an energy network that connects the oil fields of western Kazakhstan to the Russian port of Novorossiysk, from where it is exported to the world. About 90% of the oil the CPC pumped last year came from Kazakhstan. Now, Chevron, Shell and other Western companies are partners in CPC - a lot of the Kazakh oil coming through the stations and pipelines is American-owned. About 25% of CPC is owned by American companies, and, last year, they accounted for 40% of the oil that passed through the CPC system.
This goes even beyond a “false flag” attack - this is a direct and deliberate assault on American economic interests (they have been very active in the Central Asian energy sector for decades). Bombing what is basically American energy infrastructure in a region that has been strategically important to the US for three and a half decades and will remain such even after a hypothetical full pivot to the Pacific region... Bold strategy.
Is it a threat to the Trump administration? Is it an all-too blatant attempt to somehow blame Russia for economic damage to American companies? Are they just really goddamn stupid? Whatever their reasons, the cretins in Kiev seem determined to right a wrong and convince America to send its future military aid warhead-first.

The day of a high-level and much anticipated US-Russia meeting toward achieving the end of the war in Ukraine was held in Saudi Arabia, hailed by Yuri Ushakov, Putin’s foreign policy adviser, as "successful" after about four-hours-and-a-half hours of talks.

However, Ukraine's President Zelensky was sidelined as were the European allies. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov led the Russian delegation meeting US officials, including Rubio and National Security Adviser Mike Waltz.

Both sides have said they are looking forward to the meeting paving a way for a near-future bilateral summit between Presidents Trump and Putin.

Secretary Rubio issued a statement in the wake of the meeting, which most interestingly included an agreement for election to be held in Ukraine, which Zelensky certainly isn't going to like (and probably won't agree to), given also he just recently argued that martial law prevents this. According to what was agreed to based on Rubio's readout:

* Two sides agree to broadly to pursue three goals: allowing back staffing at their embassies in Washington and Moscow and to establish respective high-level teams to support Ukraine peace talks.
* And three: Explore closer restored relations and economic cooperation between the US and Russia
* Rubio stressed that any agreement must be "acceptable" to US, Russia, Ukraine and Europe.
* The plan has three stages: a ceasefire, elections in Ukraine and signing a final agreement, according to Fox reporter Jacqui Heinrich on X
* Lavrov has said: We have agreed that a mechanism for a settlement of the Ukraine conflict will be formed in the near future, and ambassadors will be appointed ASAP to lead these efforts.

Pushing back against critics, Rubio emphasized that Ukraine has not been sidelined, though Zelensky nor any Kiev representative was invited to the talks in Riyadh. "He’s the only leader in the world that could have started this process here today," he said.

The State Department readout said Tuesday's meeting puts the two sides "on a path to ending the conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible in a way that is enduring, sustainable, and acceptable to all sides." More details via Bloomberg:

They also agreed to “address irritants” in US-Russia relations to restore the work of their diplomatic missions, and to “lay the groundwork for future cooperation on matters of mutual geopolitical interest” once the war ends, State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said.

Kremlin foreign policy aide Yuri Ushakov said they discussed a summit between Trump and Putin but it was unlikely to take place next week. “It’s hard to say yet that we’re getting closer, but there was a conversation,” Ushakov said of the US and Russian positions after the meeting, according to the state-run Tass news agency. Ushakov and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov represented the Kremlin at the talks that included White House National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, Trump’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan was also present. Trump is determined to “move very quickly” on securing a permanent settlement in Ukraine, Waltz said in a briefing by the US side. Rubio said he was convinced Russia’s willing to engage “in a serious process” on Ukraine, while Witkoff called the meeting a “very, very solid session.”

Complaining about lack of EU representation, Ursula von der Leyen has claimed Europe has contributed more "financially and militarily" to Ukraine than anyone else.

Zelensky, who is currently visiting Ankara, said his country seeks "security guarantees from US, EU, Turkey" against Russia. It seems he may actually acquiesce to the US taking the option of NATO membership off the table permanently - as this was never a realistic path in the first place.

Meanwhile, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksandr Grushko has emphasized that in reality the EU has canceled itself, and that's why it's not a trustworthy partner to negotiate peace, or be in the room. He pointed to the EU’s repeatedly stated desire to "inflict a strategic defeat on Russia," stressing that "this rules out any role for the EU and European countries in the upcoming negotiations to resolve the conflict in and around Ukraine."

In order to have elections, ukraine will have to lift martial law. And once it happens all the mobilized servicemen will be free to go home (or run away since the borders will reopen), which means the complete disintegration of the ukrainian army.

Meanwhile....despite not being invited, the midget emperor of Ukraine flies to Saudi Arabia anyway, and tries to gate crash the Russian/US summit

Zelensky was actually in the UAE with his 'wife', setting up a safe haven and company front for his stolen billions. The possible hop to gatecrash the meeting in Saudi was just a secondary objective. He will flee Ukraine pretty soon.

Looks like Zelensky is starting to sweat:

This statement was released right after the debates, which means Zelensky is trying to cover his rear if Trump does actually win.

And that is the real problem, a Trump victory is more damaging to Ukraine than another Russian offensive. Without the easy money Ukraine has no chance.

Of course, a Trump victory is probably only 4 years of peace. As soon as a Democrat gets in, it will resume war with Russia.

However, even 1 year of peace is deadly to someone like Zelensky. He's a puppet with no use in peacetime, which means he will be discarded like a trash bag. He needs to think of an escape plan because he has a lot of enemies. Hence, calling for the war to end.

I don't think this war is "wrapping up," I believe it is being put on pause until Trump is out of power again. Hilary wanted war with Russia back in 2016, she was calling for a no-fly zone over the skies of Syria to shoot down Russian aircraft (who were bombing ISIS, which was financed by the CIA) in the debates with Trump.

Trump got in, and we had 4 years of peace with Russia. As soon as Trump was out, war immediately resumed with Russia. I expect nothing different to happen the second time around. Trump will be a pause in globalism, and then things will go back to normal (absent a real revolution in our countries).

So far all of my previous analysis has been 100% correct. Let's pray there is a real revolution so war does not resume as soon as a Democrat Pres takes power again.
