Kosovo

Perhaps you can give souvenirs to African natives. It would be more appropriate.
That's a bit of a dour attitude. Just as when you visit another persons house its always a good show of respect to bring food or a gift when you meet with somebody in another country a gift/souvenir from your home country is often an appreciated gesture of respect.

I've lived in North Albania for about 6 months - 1 yr total over the last 15/20 yrs or so. While I haven't lived in Kosovo proper, I've spent plenty of time there (in the south).

When people say "Albanians" they're referring to Kosovars and North Albanians, it's the same people, for locals the borders are open & it's now 1 country in practice. They're a central Asian peoples, like Chechens or Armenians. In Tirana & southward they're quite different, it's much more Greek & Turk influence. What little tourists do go to Albania/Kosovo are in Tirana & the south. Most foreigners living in Albania/Kosovo long term are US military.

Practically, you aren't learning the Albanian language, it's very different than everything else & there's little resources for it. English is more or less useless, but most Albanians, especially in the north & Kosovo, speak Italian well as they all have family or have lived in Italy. In Tirana & southward, Italian works but Greek is common also. Knowing/understanding Italian can make your stay in Kosovo/Albania 1000x easier.

A good friend of mine, a foreigner, ended up there in the 90's & has a chunk of land in the north & stayed (Valbona/Bjeshka area). I visit him. Rural north Albania/Kosovo is similar to rural living in Africa, Latin America, etc. Electricity, water is not guaranteed, roads are terrible & you need be self sufficient. You need a big 4x4, generators & capacity to store fuel & water. The area is my favorite in Europe, untouched by industrialization, clean air, silence & even streams you can drink from. The mountains are very beautiful. What few locals remain, are a simple, pastoral people.

All the population centers in that area, Prishtina, Tirana, Prizren, etc are sewers. Even in Prishtina, depending on the season, Venezuela style scheduled blackouts are common. There are no good restaurants, hotels, they're very polluted & it's all commie block, borderline slums, locals sit around doing nothing in cafes all day. Honestly, this is the balkans in general.

Not sure who told you food is "delicious & relatively natural", but they lied. The food is terrible, we'd have to drive to Dubrovnik to stock up on imported meats, cheeses, etc. Like most central/east euros, due to piss poor quality food production they live off staple cereal/grains. In Albania/Kosovo it's kalamosh, or corn. My friend's bird dog who lives on his land in feif, Sherif (Albanian men generally don't use names to refer to each other), which means "the cowboy", would escort me to go see Dreni (the deer) in Jakova when he'd slaughter fresh lamb. Rural North Albania & Kosovo is best with a trusted local guide, so when local drunks & lunatics would road rage, Sherif would handle them. Since lamb won't eat anything it sees & I can see the slaughter - that's the only local food we'd eat from there, apart from berries.

Housing is horrible quality, 0 building standards. Labor is cheap enough that you're better off building your own. To give you an idea, the NATO/military guys who get deployed there, they aren't allowed to stay above the 3rd floor because of how often buildings collapse from earthquakes, storms, etc. In Kosovo you'll see "houses" made of a styrofoam material.

In the Balkans in general, but especially Albania & Kosovo, the US Embassy rules there with an iron fist. If you have any serious problems, banks robbing you, land disputes, etc - they're going to solve them in your favor. Locals know this, so at least Americans are treated fairly. Other nationalities, you're probably going to have to deal with a lot of shady behavior for affairs involving money, again, in all of the Balkans, not just Albania.

In the countryside you will see few women, which I liked. The cities is stereo typical Euro trash. I was married while there, but I remember on the south side of Tirana there was a US style mall. I had to buy shoes. The first young woman I saw asked me in English where I was from & what I was doing there. Having been working remotely since around '05, I said working, she responded "wow an American working here, I bet you're rich. What's your name?". I gave her my name & left. I also remember in Croatia, I was passing through & rented a home in Zagreb (from the nutjob wife of a local politican who openly bragged about using EU development funds to restore their personal villa, where I stayed), within 2 days of knowing her she offered me her daughter. They were "Bosnian Croats", whatever that even means, you'll quickly learn a Balkanoid is a Balkanoid. I was never with a Balkan woman, but my impression was they're trashy & obsessed with money & status, if you pull up in a shiny vehicle with rap music playing you'll probably get a lot of attention from them them. Although I'm sure they're not all like that.

Thanks to EU colonization, there's a handful of areas in Croatia & Greece where I'd actually feel comfortable in public & you have access to edible food & it's not polluted, but in general I'd skip the entire region unless you're specifically looking for remote, off grid living which North Albania & southern Kosovo is good for.

Sometimes it's not entirely clear which regions you are talking about.

North Albania & Kosovo I use interchangeably as it's the same people & in practice, the same country, the specific area I spend time in is in the Valbona area of North Albania but it's a 30 min drive to Jakova & no border checks, so it's 1 country in practice.

I know it may sound confusing, but for the record, height & language aside, to me (a neutral outsider), Croats, Albanians, Serbs, etc, they're all Blakanoids and mostly the same.

That's quite interesting, considering that Serbs and Croats are Slavic/Dinaric people with R1a Indo-European and I2a Dinaric/Europid dominant patrilineal haplogroups, speaking an Indo-European language, sharing Indo-European myths, while Albanians, as you said yourself, are "Central Asian people, like Chechens or Armenians" with E1b1a Middle-Eastern Y-DNA and a completely unrelated language, brought by the Byzantines from the Caucasus around the 11th century A.D. But they are "all the same" to you. That's not very observant and is in fact very ignorant. And reminds me of "it's all whypipo".

I assume you are an American, so to say that two such unrelated peoples are "all Balkanoids and mostly the same" would be the same level of ignorance as calling Americans and Mexicans "the same people". But considering that you just called the entire Balkan cuisine "terrible" and of "piss poor quality", which is top kek nonsense, I'm not surprised at all.

What you described may be typical of Gheg Albanian tribes of North Albania and Kosovo in particular, but I doubt you have seen much else in that region.

I don't subscribe to racial theory. I'll admit you're different but I don't view one group as better or worse than the other. You wouldn't offend me if you said we're the same as Mexicans & I made many Albanian & Serbian friends. The Serbs/Croats are a tremendously athletic people, I have a very good friend/trainer in Zagreb who I always pass through when I go to Albania. I've never seen such an athletic people outside of Africa. I'd recommend for anyone traveling there who's into sports to hangout at the barpark in Belgrade next to the St Sava Temple, planches, front levers, etc is everyday stuff. If you go to the track near the Maksimir stadium in Zagreb, plenty of dudes despite breathing horrible air for most of the year doing warmup sub 25 min 5k's then going on to play basketball, tennis, etc like it's nothing. In both areas you'll find trainers who have personal experience with world class, professional athletes. I met several who worked with NBA, tennis & fighting athletes in the US & Europe.

Not sure what you mean by "European", but Serbs/Croats are a turkoslav people. Especially on the coast, Turkish last names like Karaman are very common amung the Serb/Croats there. I don't mean that as an insult, I don't view a turkoslav as better or worse than an Albanian.

Are there many criminals amung the Albanians? Sure. But the same can be said about Serbs. I believe next to Albanians, Serbs are the most common prisoner in Europe, they go there mostly purse snatching & drug dealing. Sorry but Everything you say about the Albanians apply to Serbs too. I met plenty of wanna be criminal kids in the barparks of Serbia.

I don't know what "top kek" is, but The food quality across the region is piss poor. I eat better in sub Saharan Africa, literally. There is 1 store in Croatia called "The Beef Shop", with stores in Dubrovnik & Zagreb (who's slogan is "Nice to Meat You", and has cigar rooms with naked women all over the walls in their stores - that should tell you about the culture there..) that import high quality beef to serve to the tourists, there's a handful of stores in Croatia that sell quality organic dry goods. Everything else is horrible. Please, name to me 1 ranch in all of the Balkans that produces grass fed, USDA quality beef, cheese, eggs, etc. You cannot name this ranch, because it doesn't exist, in addition to persistent drought nowhere there has the resources (land, water, feed) to have large scale quality food production. This is why nearly all of you live off corn, wheat with occasional pork or poultry that feeds off of roadside trash & whatever it can find. Despite that & the polluted conditions you survive in that would literally kill me, you manage to be some of the best athletes on Earth & for that I envy you.

I don't subscribe to racial theory. I'll admit you're different but I don't view one group as better or worse than the other.
That's a contradiction in two sentences. If we're genetically different then that is subscribing to "racial theory" i.e. reality.

You wouldn't offend me if you said we're the same as Mexicans & I made many Albanian & Serbian friends.

It's not about offence, its about whether the statement is accurate/true.

Not sure what you mean by "European", but Serbs/Croats are a turkoslav people.

What does "turkoslav" mean, you've made up a term that doesn't exist whilst at the same time stating you don't know what a European is? You've branded two nations with a new identity which you didn't even have the courtesy of applying a capital letter to.

Especially on the coast, Turkish last names like Karaman are very common amung the Serb/Croats there. I don't mean that as an insult, I don't view a turkoslav as better or worse than an Albanian.
The Ottomans occupied the Balkans for half a millenium so obviously you are going to find leftover elements of their presence, most notably amongst the groups that converted to Islam (as did the Albanians for the most part). Serbs in particular heavily resisted the Ottomans at heavy price, as did other peoples in the Balkans, to a greater or lesser extent. It's insulting to then call Serbs "turkoslavs". If they wanted to be Turks, they'd have converted to Islam.

Do you have any statistics to back up your statement that Serbs are the most common criminals in Europe?

The Balkans in general does not have US-style ranches. However that's not a prerequisite for having high-quality meat, cheese or eggs. People in the region tend to source high quality food from family or contacts that live on small-holdings outside of the cities. Those people don't have scale and don't sell to supermarkets, but the quality can be as good as or better than what you can find in organic speciality food shops in the West. I'm not sure where you got the idea that there's persistent drought, the Balkans are extremely rich when it comes to water sources, in particular rivers.

This is why nearly all of you live off corn, wheat with occasional pork or poultry that feeds off of roadside trash & whatever it can find. Despite that & the polluted conditions you survive in that would literally kill me, you manage to be some of the best athletes on Earth & for that I envy you.
Poultry feeds off roadside trash? Where are you getting this information from? And Serbs are not living off corn whilst "occasionally" eating pork or poultry, they're eating meat well in excess of what is good for you (on average).

- "I don't subscribe to 'racial theory'"
- Yugoslavs are "Turkoslavs", no difference between Balkan folks
- Views all peoples in terms of consumer products
--> Slav cuisine worse than Sub-Saharan Africa (Nigga, I lived in SSA for quite a while, this is peak insanity)
- Derails into a weird anecdote about watching athletic Slavs in a park

the eternal tourist has arrived.

"IAROM"

the eternal tourist has arrived.
Broke, booty sniffing, rooshv backpacker turned "christian" who thinks everyone is as broke as he is & doesn't understand places like Zambia & South Africa have centuries old ranches the size of entire European countries & provinces dedicated solely to beef/food production, has arrived.

Anyway, I won't argue with you guys about balkan nonsense, I don't really care & view them all the same culturally. Good day.

The food quality across the region is piss poor.
I wouldn't have used those words, but I remember in Croatia thinking to myself that the region is just not known for its cuisine. Just all these skinless sausage type dishes, 'cevap' especially lamb. Don't want to be mean to it though, it's fun to visit. Actually, they have a fantastic red sauce. Not sure what the difference is but there is ajvar :
and ljutenica :
I love that stuff, you have it on their meat dishes.
Actually I have a positive memory of the breads as well.
Something else nice in that region is slivovitz, plum brandy which is often home made :
That's talking about the former Yugoslavia, not just 'Kosovo'. From what others are saying in the thread, Kosovo sounds really undeveloped, I don't personally think I need to go there. Actually given the culture and way of the people I'd deliberately skip it but remain curious about that small country Macedonia.
Oh, more general term for fruit brandy :
Remember someone pouring me some of that on the last visit from a plastic water bottle..
I'm talking here though about the former Yugoslavia in general not about Kosovo. That sounds so bad if the only westerners there are on military bases, oh no.

I don't subscribe to racial theory. I'll admit you're different but I don't view one group as better or worse than the other.
It really doesn't matter what someone "subscribes" to or not. You can subscribe to the gender theory and male pregnancy as far as I'm concerned. Not relevant. Only facts are, not subscriptions and opinions. And it's not a "racial theory", it's exact genetics.

Serbs/Croats are a turkoslav people
"I don't subscribe to racial theory."
"I don't view one group as better or worse than the other."
"Serbs/Croats are a turkoslav people."
muh one race.jpg

You are being incoherent.

If you are talking about the Turkid occupation of the Balkans, the Turks did not mix with the occupied population, especially not with Christians, but lived separately in their "kasbah" settlements. Furthermore, genetic research has shown that Serbs (and Croats) have no Turkish genetic heritage.

Not sure what you mean by "European".

Education should not be treated as a commodity but as a crucial thing. Unfortunately, that is not the case everywhere.

I also remember in Croatia, I was passing through & rented a home in Zagreb (from the nutjob wife of a local politican who openly bragged about using EU development funds to restore their personal villa, where I stayed), within 2 days of knowing her she offered me her daughter.
Globohomo practice is to support the worst members of a nation, genetic/moral trash, as their henchmen politicians, which they then finance through their NGOs, because such people are the easiest to control. An added bonus is that they serve as a bad example to the youth of that country, who then via such "national representatives" become disillusioned with their nation and more easily adopt multiculturalism.

Serbs are the most common prisoner in Europe, they go there mostly purse snatching & drug dealing.
And your source is "trust me bro"? 😑 You talk trash and talk nonsense and have nothing to support your retarded claims. Perhaps some Serb beat you back in 1999 so you carry traumas, but leave those delusions for your psychiatrist where they belong.

I met plenty of wanna be criminal kids in the barparks of Serbia.
And what were you doing with the kids in the park anyway? Are you a MAP or whatever is the euphemism nowadays?
I wouldn't be surprised if the free expression of masculinity in the developmental years and the channeling of aggression through sports and competition is a "criminal behavior" for you globohomos. Because butchering of kids and imposing the so-called "gender ideology" on them is definitely not. In any case, I haven't been there for a while, but judging a country or a nation based on a few random encounters is ridiculous.

The food quality across the region is piss poor.
I eat better in sub Saharan Africa, literally.
I don't know what you have eaten and where, or smoked, or whether you had a trepanation in Sahel Africa, but it appears that you know nothing about Balkan food and cuisine. Sheer ignorance expressed through arrogance as "knowledge", literally.

Perhaps you should return to sub-Saharan Africa and stay there. God's willing and by courtesy of Russia, perilous times may arise for NATO personnel in some parts of Europe.

There is 1 store in Croatia called "The Beef Shop", with stores in Dubrovnik & Zagreb (who's slogan is "Nice to Meat You", and has cigar rooms with naked women all over the walls in their stores - that should tell you about the culture there.
If you judge a country's culture on account of a single store, it only speaks about you and about nothing else.

Please, name to me 1 ranch in all of the Balkans that produces grass fed, USDA quality beef, cheese, eggs, etc. You cannot name this ranch, because it doesn't exist
Exactly, it doesn't exist. The Balkans are not the USA and food is not grown on "ranches" there. You know, there is a world outside of US, different practices, other ways to raise livestock and produce food besides "muh ranches" 🤡

USDA quality beef
Enjoy your hormone-injected GMO-transfat goyslop! Consume! It's FREE!

Thanks to EU colonization, there's a handful of areas in Croatia & Greece where I'd actually feel comfortable in public & you have access to edible food & it's not polluted
Praise the globohomo.

Like I said, if you think the food in Balkans is inedible or polluted, you are clearly delusional. I pity you. 😑 Or perhaps you are too used to goyslop.

And by the way, why would you feel uncomfortable in public? Could it be because you are perhaps a ZOG bot stationed somewhere in southern Italy, maybe some officer or something, who buys cheap real estate in Albania which is just across the sea and spends his free time there, and you subconsciously realize that you are an occupier and that you don't belong there? It is good, it is correct reasoning.

in addition to persistent drought nowhere there has the resources (land, water, feed) to have large scale quality food production.
The Balkans is a region rich in biodiversity and a pleasant Mediterranean/Continental climate, known for its abundance of plant and animal species, river basins, rich cuisine and fertile land, especially in northern Serbia, which is among the best arable lands in Europe and has the capacity to feed half the continent.

I know that education is not a consumer commodity, but before you enter into a discussion you should at least learn the basics instead of talking nonsense.

This is why nearly all of you live off corn, wheat with occasional pork or poultry that feeds off of roadside trash & whatever it can find.
Not only are you uneducated and uncouth, you are also clearly delusional and have no idea what you are talking about.

I don't really care & view them all the same culturally
- "Muh I am culturally superior"
- Shows nothing but ignorance, foolishness and arrogance

You may think highly of yourself, but I really don't see why you should. The combination of ignorance and arrogance is a very repulsive and universally hated trait.

you manage to be some of the best athletes on Earth & for that I envy you.
Muh athletes. That's all you know 😑 Athletes, NBA & TV. No proper education, no knowledge about specifics of the region, about its people, it's culture, it's rich history, nothing. Just "muh athletes" 😑 Your knowledge should be measured in units of TV shows.

"... what a sad contrast it is when the human animal is granted a maximum of comfort, an equal share in a mindless and “bovine” happiness, an easy and comfortable life filled with gadgets, radio and TV programs, planes, Hollywood, sports arenas, and popular culture at the level of Reader’s Digest."

"Oh yeah? Well, you are broke and you don't even know [inserts random information about consumer products and tripadvisor destinations].
Also, I don't care at all, it's all the same to me."

Legendary clapback.

I can't believe this reasoning. If you want a culinary tour, Michelin restaurants it's the wrong region. Why is USDA quality beef some kind of standard now. Europe in general does not have the best beef in the world, not just the Balkans that's why there people go to Argentinian steak houses when they really need that. Since when is Europe known for ranches?
Could it be because you are perhaps a ZOG bot stationed somewhere in southern Italy, maybe some officer or something, who buys cheap real estate in Albania which is just across the sea and spends his free time there, and you subconsciously realize that you are an occupier and that you don't belong there?
Now that you point it out it does sound like he is living or stationed there and doesn't like it.

Any country with the resources to be self sufficient in quality food production (beyond wheat/corn/cereal staples) is going to use the ranching model. It's in use from Texas to Brazil to Australia to Zambia to India.

The ranching model was introduced to the world in the 1500's by the Spaniards & is European in origin. Switzerland & Austria in particular have many excellent ranches that make pristine use of limited resources, but it's common all throughout western Europe.

So, when looking for relocation, I'd recommend unless you like living off low quality foods like buckwheat, burek & borscht like the slavs & balkanoids do, you research if they're capable of producing nutritious food items & if not can they import them.

No, I don't live there but as I said many times I enjoy rural living in north Albania & Kosovo, yes, my friend is one of the people who bombed the hell out of the Serbs in the 90's & is quick to say how easily they gave up, within a matter of months & has 0 fear of any retaliation from them.

He doesn't have a chip on his shoulder, it's all the same to him, he just goes all over the world to see the the grass fed cattle and not learn the languages.

I speak 4 languages, fluently. But yeah, maybe next time I'll go on a booty boy poverty tour of Europe & glamorize the turkoslav commie block ghettos you guys live in, because you can afford nothing else & get angry at those that can.

I like the quote in this video "my slavvv lifeee.... is betterrrrr than yourrrs".... haha.

Yeah, you're clearly above it all and you totally don't care. No conceited resentment against Slavs there. It all the same to you, you don't care, you just want to tell people about your very important friends in Albania, and about cattle farms.

My buddy is retired ex Air Force & bought some cheap acreage there decades ago. He's not "very important" & if you spend time in US colonies like Kosovo people like him are common.

You guys have such an inferiority complex you're insulted by anything & everything. I say the food is poor, you attack. OP even offered to bring gifts and all you turkoslavs even get offended at that.

Another quote I liked from an accurate depiction of Balkan life... "Serbs, you never know what you'll get with them!"

Oh lawd he brought out the Rick & Morty quotes. Heavy duty stuff right here. Air Force buddy and all.

I think you should post the Navy Seal copypasta. It's not that stale, and it would really show me what's what!
