Senator Chris Murphy has stated that in a closed-door congressional meeting, the administration told them the US will not be able to shoot down Iranian drones launched at Middle Eastern allies in the short-term. As long as Iran can keep up the Shahed attacks, these countries, and the world economy face big problems.

The IDF has given an evacuation order for the entirety of Southern Lebanon, including areas beyond the Litani River. The IDF's advance into Lebanon so far is slow yet faces little resistance. Hezbollah is firing sending occasional drones/missiles over the border.
