It looks like the video was shot in Japan in the 80s, judging by the streets, the houses and the vehicles. As a sidenote, QR codes were invented in Japan to create a barcode that could easily track automobiles and automobile parts during manufacturing. It soon moved on to other things that we see everyday today ( eg tickets, websites, etc).

You get your psychos in the security industry who think they are hired to be Batman. Then you have your people who realize they are there so the companies can save on insurance. It's not a bad gig for people who are smart enough to realize it's the latter and not the former.
I used to work security at one of the largest airports in the country. Used to make good money, believe it or not, and all I had to do was walk around and look good in uniform. I used to spend my time in the chapel, hiding away underground doing virtual Bible studies, or "helping out" the many attractive women trying to find the right way to go.
I love jobs like that, where you make OK money for mostly just being there. I had a graveyard shift customer service job back in the 1990s where we'd get maybe two or three calls at the most each shift. Some kind soul had installed Doom 2 on a server at the company so I mostly got paid to stay up all night and get really good at that game.
Back to grocery stores, I don't see the problem. I'm just glad they still have food available. I remember early in the COVID era when the shelves were emptying out and not getting restocked. Now that was a problem.
I’ll be honest, it might be worth considering to get your groceries at those organic lefty places like Fresh Market. They usually have better quality product and only play classical music, they’re “pricey”, but in reality they cost what they’re supposed to cost. Our currency and labor has been so devalued that basic things have become expensive.

Agree here. There really is a fine line between the CA or VT hippie growing their organic farms and the extreme right militia prepper living off grid and raising their own food in Bonner’s Ferry ID.
