EURO 2024 Championship

He picked up a deserved yellow card for being on the field for over 5 minutes, deservedly so, it's not like a broken nose was going to prevent him from walking off the field.

Are Turks & Georgians even European? Lol

Sone good videos online of their hooligans fighting each other.

Even in Warsaw too. Poland is overflowing with Middle-East, Cental Asian & Caucusus migrants ever since the Russo-Ukranian war broke out whilst all their media has an eye on the Belarus border instead.

There are several players who should be considered fully French, like Marcus Thuram on the far left, whose father also played for France and is from the French west indies (Guadeloupe), so his family has been French for several generations. Mbappé (far right) would also qualify, his mother having been born in France and having played on the national team handball squad, and his father immigrated young.

This being said, they are being used to push a mass immigration agenda, as seen with Mbappé's political stance above.

When I see national team photos, I keep wondering where the idea came from that the front row is uncomfortably slumping over just so the back row can be seen. This is how all soccer team photos are taken, and it seems like a traditionally absurd phenomenon, much like the rules of soccer, and the defense of them, typically which is "that's just how we've always done it".

I just want to say that I'm vehemently against football. It's opium for the masses to direct their attention from important things. You watch this meaningless sport while the banksters steal your land from under you. Just stop. Watching this is equal to masturbation and should be considered no less of a sin.
Doom scrolling about potential awful scenarios (the next covid!) is probably worse and more akin to porn than football, a sport which contains skill, rivalries between countries/teams and tactics making it more than merely an empty physical act. Plus, there is the storytelling aspect of the game itself and the history being written in each tournament.

Last night England were absolutely awful. I am English but I find them the most boring team to watch. It's down to the negative tactics of their terminal loser manager.

If England were to get someone like Jurgen Klopp who could unleash their attacking talents they could beat anyone in the world but now we just have to watch their miseryball for 90 minutes where they hope to scrape through on random or lucky goals. I might just support a random team like Albania - at least they try.

I totally agree with you when i see the fans all dressed up drinking beer and shouting it seems ridiculous to me. But then i also consider that the people who are into football and sports in general are more likely to share similar values and ideas with us than the general population.

Soccer fans are not our enemies. The people who wear their regions icons and flags and are enthousiastic are still nationalistic and longing for their own culture and to be proud of it.

Its better than nothing and also why they are trying to make soccer more woke in the last years.

I see no virtue in this particular sport, it's glorifying the vulgar, besides being conscious of what is certainly coming is not doom scrolling but being present. Watching football on the other hand makes you forget the challenges ahead. Memento mori.

I want to also add that I would not be surprised if a new 'virus' emerges after this tournament for the coming plandemic (planned this fall). That would be perfect timing.

Not enough attention.

Paris Olympic Games 2024. I wouldn't be surprised to see some kind of staged event unfold when the world is watching - not to mention the timing to distract what's going on in US politically.

Anyway, back to the football! ⚽

It isn't vulgar to have athletic skill and talent and put it into practice alongside teammates. Skill, talent and togetherness. The later sorely lacking in modern times and something that even the mere act of watching alongside others helps to create.

Ok you don't like football I get it but to say competitive sports are vulgar is a rash exaggeration.

Implying even if you lose, you actually won.

Panem et circenses. There's really nothing new under the Sun.

I lost any interest in professional soccer/football once I realized that it's all either about money (for the players and managers) or entertainment (for the masses who are watching). Professional footballers are mercenaries who sell themselves to the highest bidder - while the dumb fans delude themselves into thinking these footballers are playing "for their club", that they are "one of us".
