I don’t understand your point. Steve Jobs died 14 years ago. If he was critical to the success of Apple wouldn’t Apple be in. Trouble now?

There's also the non-negligible possibility that as some on RooshV argued, you can't escape the Firmament.
My view is different. Earth might not refer just to the planet, but also the observable Universe. Genesis says the barrier between the seas and Earth is Heaven. This fits the description of the edge of the Universe which is essentially the opposite of a Black Hole. An impassable barrier you cannot reach. At least according to a theory I watched Anton Petrov explain where essentially the Universe itself is conscious.
Either way, whatever the case may be, I expect significant discoveries to be underway, truth has prevailed as of late, so I don't expect any lies to make the cut. Already been memory holed. All this "fraud" and not a single arrest. My hypothesis is that Elon wanted to get into the government computers for personal reasons, maybe to install his own super-malware or something else related to him getting to Mars.
