All I know is that since we got Starlink we've got internet... that actually works. Big deal down under.

What about Tesla owners though? I don't like EV's and can not go faster than 110kph so not interested in those Autobahn crazy speed videos (yes I am).

Are you not allowed over 110kph in Australia, even with the vast open spaces there?

There's only one section of highway in the Northern Territory that is 130kph, the rest of the country is 110kph on freeways or a lot of time just 100kph. The roads in most of Australia are generally is such bad nick that you don't want to really go much faster but certain freeways are easily doable at 150kph (like in crowded Italy) so I think it's just the old nanny state showing her fangs in general as the highway patrol is always lurking in the bushes.

I for one am against speed limits altogether outside of built up areas which was the case not that long ago.
