No one will defect from T because of Musk’s childish tantrum.
In a few days it will be mostly forgotten.
Of course some will. The quicker people get out of the mindset they can change things by voting or running for office, the quicker we can start to make real moves.
What “real moves”? Civil war?
Probably natural segregation, as people already try to do and spend a small fortune to live away from the "bad area of town".
Not only that, Musk will always be a Lefty when one look at his past voting history.

Let's not forget that the issue that started this was that Trump is pushing through a massive budget, more deficit spending and he also wants lower interest rates, when they really should be higher. All of this means more debt and more inflation. The Epstein stuff is nonsense, so he should have skipped that, but he's correct about Trump being a big-Government (boomer) guy.
Trump bill is another step towards US bankrupcy. Musk jeopardized his business and reputation to make unpopular cuts through DOGE. A work now completely trashed by Trump in a communist overbloating bill which will add trillions to an already unsustainable debt. Conservatives are for fiscal prudency. Trump and his economic advisors are no better than leftists lunatics in economy. Keynes would be proud.
Epstein files has nothing on Trump. He probably went on the plane because he an imprudent social climber idiot. But he is not a pedo. Musk kid hanged around with Trump. That was a personal cheap shot. Which looks bad on Musk not Trump.
They dont release files because US is Israel bitch. And epstein was Mossad.
Economic reality will set in sooner than later.
DOGE was something, but Musk oversold it.
The federal government is largely (over three quarters I believe) social security, Medicaid and interest on the debt.
You’re not going to reduce the debt unless you cut SS and Medicaid benefits or raise taxes significantly. These are things we need to do eventually, but it’s political suicide to do it now.
And if it’s political suicide, Trumps agenda ends now.
So do we kick our grannies off SS and Medicare now, in order to eliminate the debt in 20 years so that the brown and black hordes get a debt free country to take over?
Without 60 votes in the Senate, there's no real way to codify DOGE recommended cuts. Cuts to SS and Medicare will take a large majority of Congress. It's not gonna happen until the boomers die off. They will suck this country dry voting against anyone who cuts their medicare.
Also, no one wants to stop payments to those who paid into SS... but we want to phase it out for the future, it's a bad system. But even doing something like this is political suicide because boomers immediately think you'll cut their SS payments. The fake news ensures it, and they will vote Dem if it means protecting their SS. Then it's back to Sodom and Gomorrah + Endless War + 10x more Debt.

Then you deal with it then. You raise the eligibility age, you means test it, etc
As long as they can print more money, and the rest of the would accepts those dollars as trustworthy payment, no US governmental institution or agency will ever go bankrupt
