The Trump-Vance Administration (The People Who Work For Trump)

I think that Elon is doing great things and he should try to portray a great image. Limit his weaknesses to his poor speaking skills, which is harder to change.
His kid shouldn’t be toddling around at his feet in what should be a serious address. His outfit cheapens his image too. It all made what should be a very regal setting look like a cheap prop. I didn’t like it.

Disagree with all of the above. I love his authenticity, and he should absolutely bring his sons with him.

Neglecting children is evil, and not having children when you can afford them is also evil. The only option for fathers is to bring their children with them. It is a blessing and should be encouraged.

Plus it's so cool the little guy is getting to hang out in the Oval Office with the POTUS. He has no idea now, but one day he'll look back on this experience, and realize how special it was.

I don't know brother, at this point I would much prefer genuine authenticity over fake pageantry....

I tend to agree that he should dress appropriately, and while it's fine to have the kid around him, he shouldn't have him climbing around when he's giving an important news conference.

That being said, I think Musk wants to portray that he's not a politician, he's only there to do a job he thinks is essential, and then he's gone, so he is purposely defying normal behavioral expectations. On the other hand, maybe he's just autistic!

To me this shows that America is a family-run operation. Trump is like grandpa letting the grandkids come in to the shop to see how work is done and it doesn’t feel forced or staged. It shows an image of family men working for the hard-working families across the country.

If you have kids and a business, sometimes they’re going to be there and that’s a good thing.

I was raised by my father since I was six. When he was working as a project superintendent for a steel fabrication company when I was in middle school and on, I used to ride with him on Saturdays and days off from school and over the summer. I would either sit in the truck and read or listened to Rush Limbaugh and Dr. Laura (don't judge; its the Florida boonies and AM radio...it was that or a preacher yelling I was going to hell or Mexican banda music) or sit in the shop trailer and draw, read, or whatever quietly to myself. My dad always introduced me to everyone "here's my boy" but not as a child and I shook hands with laborers and corporate managers alike. If traffic was light, he'd let me drive home until we reached the Interstate while he took a nap.

At the time, I was dismissive about it all that I didn't get to lounge around the beach or go to theme parks like my other friends did. But I learned more about the real world than many of them and about human interaction, interpersonal skills, and all those esoteric metrics you can't teach than I did in the classroom.

A number of federal judges are issuing restraining orders against Trump's executive orders on nonexistent legal grounds. Likely the individual cases will go to SCOTUS, though how long that will take is hard to say. The Deep State is trying to stall, delay, and obstruct. Trump should simply ignore the orders. AFAIK the only way to enforce them is by asking the US Marshalls to arrest Trump. This is a fairly significant early test for his Presidency.

Didn’t a judge in Florida end the Covid pandemic? This cuts both way…

President Trump commends Elon, announces a news conference set for TOMORROW —

— will read list of names of recipients of waste, fraud and abuse.

"I'm going to read to you some of the names that hundreds of millions and even billions of dollars have been given to."

“I say it in front of our our attorney general. There's no chance that there's not kickbacks or something going on. When you give millions and millions of dollars to somebody that stands to look at something for 15 minutes and walks away with millions of dollars. That money's coming back in some form. And that's only one form of corruption."

"I went through a list of 200 expenditures that were made, and I found three that looked like they were reasonable. Okay, three and, we'll be talking about that tomorrow."

"I want to commend Elon. He doesn't need this. You know, he's abused by you people every day. He's found more things than anybody could find."

Note the bottom of the poster says "USAID".
