The Syria Thread

^I guess this means the rebels have full control over the coastal Alawite region, I am surprised the locals did not put more resistance considering they are the prime targets for retribution. Bashar's father Hafez was a brutal dictator who was far more hated than his son.

The speed with which this coup took place, and the level of armaments and organization brought to bear by the rebels is really bizarre. We know it was orchestrated by the US/Israel/Turkey, but it almost seems as if Iran and Russia were either somehow forced to withdraw their support for Assad, or made some sort of deal where they received something in exchange for standing down and essentially sacrificing their interests in Syria. What that might be, we can only speculate. But there's definitely something fishy about this whole thing, and I feel like we aren't getting the whole story at this point. I mean, the situation in Syria dates back to the Obama administration. Assad proved very difficult to dislodge and seemed to have the full support of Iran and Russia. And now he's just gone without a fight in a week out of nowhere? It doesn't add up.

I heard the theory that it was Assad that wasn't willing to fight rather than Russia and Iran, it would make sense seeing how there was no resistance from the Syrian military. I don't know why he would give up but you would assume that the military would fight even if it wasn't getting support from Russia & Iran, but Russia & Iran would have no reason to fight if Assad was going to quit.

There is thick fog over this whole event but the only thing that's certain is that Israel is the biggest winner.

Basically it was a long demoralizing campaign on Syria and the SAA waged by NATO, where the currency was crushed and the state budget dried up through sanctions and theft of the country's main resources (oil, wheat, potash). apparently the soldiers were very poorly supplied, paid and fed, while the rebels had top of the line equipment including night vision goggles, armor etc. The SAA looked like a ragtag rebel force while the rebels looked like regular soldiers.

As well the rebels had top of the line US/NATO EW tools that disrupted the SAA chain of command, which was carefully mapped out and scoped by US/NATO, Turkish and Israeli intell.

A lot of the blame here is on Russia and China, they should have supported the Syrian economy and supplied their army. Assad lost the support of the middle class in the cities by not being able for several years now to provide basic services and necessities (power, fuel, public service salaries, benefits etc). The Chinese in particular should have been involved because their Uyghur jihadi trash are a large contingent of the rebel force. As well the Russians have plenty of oil and wheat, they gave away lots of it to African nations, they should have picked up the slack in Syria.

If NATO hasn't been pumping tens of billions into Ukraine, their currency and economy would have long collapsed, payments to civil servants and soldiers stopped, services very limited. Their army would have cratered long ago. This is what happened in Syria.

Bashar is the most benign character in the Assad clan. His father and older brother were ruthless brutes. Bashar Assad is no worse than any of the other Arab dictators (Sissi, MBS, Hassan II etc), and in many ways better than them (protection of Christians, genuine interest in his country's welfare as opposed to being a complete vassal like the others, anti-salafist, generally red-pilled). He's also spent a lot of time abroad as a med student and doctor.

Towards the end of his tenure, he was a bit in over his head and also mentally exhausted. His wife's recurring cancer must also have been a personal drain. I think as well he must have had some real threats on his life by the Israelis, if they can take out both Nasrallah and the president of Iran, who are more difficult targets, they can easily take him out as well. That is probably why he gave up instead of sinking with the Syria ship.

Perhaps as well he wanted to avoid bloodshed, maybe he got some guarantees through the Russians that there wouldn't be wholesale slaughters after the jihadis take over. So far there have ben some sporadic retributions, but not on a large scale.

The heebs have defaced the cross at the mountain where Christ was transfigured apparently. It is either here, Mount Hermon or mount Tabor where it happened.

Those of you who hate them do not hate them enough. No concession or compromise in this life is worth not offending them at this point for any worldly relief. They will never stop until everything that venerates Christ is destroyed.
