The Syria Thread

High chance Assad was murdered. This was a controlled demolition of Syria and some of the muppet squad we “vote” for knew in advance.

Last thing anybody wants is Assad saying some inconvenient truth out of a condo in Moscow. Not to say he’s a good guy but I doubt he’s enjoying the fall from shekel grace.

For some reason no one here wants to entertain the idea but we might see a controlled demolition of Russia AND/OR the United States next. Yes, with the hands of Trump.

This post aged terribly less than 24 hours after having been put up here.

Russian embassy in Damascus and Russian military bases in Syria so far have not been attacked by anyone, not even the Israelis....perhaps there was a backroom deal all along to offer no resistance if all could leave quietly.

Meanwhile Kremlin confirms Asasad and his family in Moscow

Russia has granted Syria’s former President Bashar Assad and his family members asylum, a source in the Kremlin said.
TASS has summaries what is known about this to this hour.According to the source in the Kremlin, Assad and his family have arrived in Moscow. Being guided by humanitarian considerations, Russia has granted asylum for them. "Russia has always spoken in favor of a political settlement of the Syrian crisis. We insist that the UN-mediated talks be resumed," the source said. "Russian officials are in touch with representatives of armed Syrian opposition, whose leaders have guaranteed security of Russian military bases and diplomatic missions on the Syrian territory," the source added.

Trump also wrote another long tweet about Syria

Yesterday's evil terrorist is today's "hero".

Made it out of Syria for the time being. Chaos rules, looting, thuggery and thieving. Gets the US Israel stamp of approval because this is what they believe in.

Going through the border was a mash of gunfire, infighting and looting from every single shop and market. Terrorists on motorcycles, gunslingers and criminals. An incredibly sad experience.

The house was surrounded by "rebels" drunk in "victory" from 5am, constant celebratory gunfire and around 10 they tried to beat the external door down to loot the contents of the house.

Early morning Israel was destroying #Syria Air Defence with bunker buster bombs. The whole house shook. The CIA road map is always the same. The Resistance is broken and I doubt it can be repaired but the extremist mercenaries in the pay of Israel will tell you they "support Palestine". Go on then, you are on the border now.

Syria’s Prime Minister Mohammad Ghazi al-Jalali leaves his hotel to officially hand over power to the terrorist groups led by Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham, after the fall of President Assad.

Washington has succeeded; after punishing the Syrian people with crippling sanctions that broke the economy, looting its oil, and arming terrorist groups…finally the Syrian state broke.

Now Syria will either become a failed state like Libya, or turn into a continually poor pacified US vassal state which does Washington’s bidding.

Another ally of Palestine targeted and attacked by Washington.

So it was a U.S.-backed coup headed by the CIA...

Geez, like FJ cruisers much?

If I were such a person with a large exotic car collection, I would want to leave at the centerpiece one extremely bizarre choice for a car, like an absolutely pristine mint condition 2004 Buick Rendezvous for absolutely no other reason than to just have people questioning why.
The Gulf States are full of FJ Cruisers, as they are the go-to car for the desert sands. I always wanted one, but living in Europe it's impossible to get one, unless you pay 100%+ import tax. Ridiculous.

DoD vs. CIA... The ultimate death-match...and the rest of the world is caught in the middle.

Indeed.

And the timing is such that this had to happen before Trump got into office with Tulsi and others who are focused on not escalating these foreign interventions.

Would Trump keep the oil. Yeah for sure.

Would he do regime change...no I don't think so.

I think the assad trade is likely a deal for Ukraine and Russia for Putin with the Turks.

It gives both sides what they need...all be it a very sad event.
