At night, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a massive UAV attack on the airfield in the vicinity of Millerovo in the Rostov region, launching 30 drones from the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
26 UAVs were shot down by Russian military personnel: 11 were destroyed the Pantsir-S1 crews, 10 by mobile rifle squads, and 5 were suppressed by electronic warfare.
Unfortunately, four drones hit the infrastructure of a military facility, but without significant damage. Footage of the fire again appeared on the Internet for everyone to see, which the enemy took advantage of in his propaganda.

A massive raid by Ukrainian drones is reported in the area of the Millerovo airfield and oil depot in the Rostov region.
The regional governor reported the downing of 26 drones.

However, the strike damaged just an administrative building and two warehouses without any casualties among personnel. The planes based there left the airfield in advance of the attack.
Once again we raise the issue of the need to equip military infrastructure facilities with hangars and other protective structures. However, we have what we have. Well, at least this time there were no lost fighters and equipment worth millions, and in some cases billions of dollars."

In recent weeks, the Donetsk direction has fallen off the agenda a little amid active clashes in the Pokrovsk and Toretsk directions. However, today information appeared on the Internet that sheds light on the situation in Krasnohorivka.
Thanks to recent footage, it was possible to establish for certain that the Russian Armed Forces are successfully approaching the Ukrainian positions on Kalinin Street. Russian troops also expanded the zone of control on the neighboring Haharina and Sadova streets, where the advance was almost a kilometer.

Our brothers continue to push back the enemy in Krasnohorivka - the work of an armored group in the settlement.

Based on this, as well as against the backdrop of the transfer of positions to the west on Belinsky and Nakhimov streets under the control of the Russian Armed Forces, it can be assumed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine retreated from the Shevchenko Park in the direction of the northwestern outskirts of the city. To the west of it, assault detachments of the Russian Army cleared part of Sverdlov, Lenin and Michurin streets and leveled the front east of the forested area.
One of the reasons for such a rapid retreat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine could be the accumulating organizational problems in the notorious 59th Motorized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Another factor was the abnormally high heat and the inability to evacuate the wounded, as well as to ensure the delivery of ammunition to constantly shelled positions.
At the same time, to the southwest of Krasnohorivka, not far from the reservoir, a position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in a forest plantation came under fire, which confirms the enemy’s control over this area.
To the south, in the Heorhiivka area, it was possible to update the configuration of the front. Russian troops slightly expanded the zone of control to the north of the settlement, and also captured a stronghold near a forest plantation not far from the N-15 highway, advancing several hundred meters to the west."

Kupyansk - 21.07.2024

"The situation in the Kupyansk-Svatove direction. July 10-21, 2024

Russian troops continue a consistent offensive in different sectors of the Kupyansk-Svatove direction.
In the Synkivka sector there are clashes in the forest belts to the east and west of the village. Positions change hands from time to time, but the front here is relatively static. Russian aviation carries out routine airstrikes on the approaches to Lyman Pershyi.
West of Kislovka/Kyslivka, Russian troops are advancing along the railway towards Stepova Novoselivka. The village still remains under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
At the Krokhmalne-Berestove line, assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces pushed through the enemy’s defense lines, advancing several kilometers to the west. At the moment, the Russian Armed Forces have successfully gained a foothold in Peschanoye/Pishchane, which is under almost complete Russian control. The closest settlement on the bank of the Oskil River is the small village of Kolisnykivka, which is separated from Pishchane only by a large field.

Toretsk - 21.07.2024

"The situation in the Oleksandro-Kalynove direction. July 19-21, 2024

For a month, fighting in the Toretsk agglomeration has continued in the Oleksandro-Kalynove direction. Over the past two days, assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces managed to expand the zone of control and dislodge Ukrainian formations from some positions in the suburbs of Toretsk.
In Druzhba, the Russian Armed Forces advanced along Zheleznodorozhnaya Street and knocked out Ukrainian formations from positions along the entire length of Peter the Great Street.
In the neighboring Pivnichne/Kirove, assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces advanced to the north of the settlement, along the Gornyatskaya Street.
Also, the section of the forest belt between Sotshorodok and the waste heap of the Yuzhnaya mine, where the presence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was previously noted, came under the control of the RF Armed Forces.
At the same time, Russian UAV crews regularly hit equipment in the immediate rear of the enemy. In the area of Tsentralnaya Street alone, as a result of FPV drone strikes, the enemy lost several units of armored vehicles involved in transporting personnel.
In Zalizne, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces are attacking the southern outskirts with the aim of completely liberating the village. During several attacks, Russian stormtroopers managed to significantly expand their zone of control, knocking out the enemy from positions in the area of waste heap No.1 and Poltavskaya Street.
At the same time, in the New York sector, Russian troops knocked out the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the height 180, located to the southwest of Yurivka, control over which allowed the enemy to affect the supply of the Russian Armed Forces in the salient. Also, the dam to the west of the above-mentioned height came under the control of Russian Armed Forces. In addition, there are reports of an encirclement of Ukrainian units in New York. However, so far no objective footage has been published that could confirm this information."

Pokrovsk - 21.07.2024

"The situation in the Pokrovsk direction. July 14-21, 2024

Recently, the Russian Armed Forces have been able to achieve significant successes in the Pokrovsk direction, despite the fierce resistance of the enemy. Relying on previously captured positions, assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces pushed the front line west of Ocheretyne and Avdiivka in the direction of Pokrovsk, which the Armed Forces of Ukraine turned into a large stronghold.
From Novooleksandrivka, Russian troops advanced to Vozdvyzhenka and started fighting with the enemy on the approaches to the settlement. As a result, part of the forest belts north of the dam on the Bychok River came under the control of the Russian Army.
Less than five kilometers from Vozdvyzhenka there is the Pokrovsk-Kostyantynivka highway. Disturbing the unimpeded movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine along it, will complicate the position of Ukrainian troops not only in the Toretsk direction, but also to the north of Bakhmut.
Lozuvatske, despite it's small size, has not yet been completely captured by the Russian Army. Fighting is still going on on the western outskirts of the village, but at the same time, the Russian Armed Forces have expanded the zone of control southeast of the settlement, knocking out the Armed Forces of Ukraine from their positions in the fields.
In Prohres, Russian troops made a breakthrough of several kilometers, occupying the village almost without a fight, as evidenced by a fairly large number of surviving buildings. Having retreated to the adjacent Vovche, the Armed Forces of Ukraine can retreat even further - in the direction of the Zhelanne-Novozhelanne line.

At the same time, west of Yevhenivka, the Russian Armed Forces leveled the front in the fields along the Brodok pond near the Vovcha River.
And in Novoselivka Persha, fighting is already taking place in the center of the village, where the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces advanced along Zelenaya Street on the northern outskirts and knocked out the enemy from positions in the forest belt west of the road to Umanske".

Ukrainian drone raid - 22.07.2024

"Massive drone raid of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Southern Russia. July 22, 2024

The Armed Forces of Ukraine once again carried out a massive drone raid on southern Russia. Dozens of UAVs were launched from the territories of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, directed towards the Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, Rostov and Astrakhan regions.
The main blow fell on the Rostov region (47 UAVs), where the first UAVs were recorded after midnight. The main target of the raid was the airfield in Morozovsk. Almost all the drones were shot down, however several, unfortunately, ended up in a fuel depot, causing a fire.
Several more drones were shot down over Illinka, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Mokrotalovka and Maloe Polesie. In the last settlement, a UAV downed by
electronic warfare crashed in the courtyard of a household, but there were no casualties.
Along with the raid on the airfield, the Armed Forces of Ukraine once again attacked the oil infrastructure in Tuapse on the Black Sea coast. Seven of the eight drones were shot down on approach, but the last one flew to its target unhindered, hitting one of the objects on the territory.
And there would have been more drones in Tuapse, but 17 UAVs were shot down over the Black and Azov Seas. Of these, five drones were destroyed by the naval aviation fighters of the Black Sea Fleet 30 km west of Sevastopol.
In addition, five more drones were destroyed by air defense systems over the Astrakhan region. It is not known what exactly was the target, but it could have been either an airfield near Astrakhan or oil depots located near the Caspian Sea.
Enemy attacks with relatively inexpensive drones continue over and over again. For the second time in two days, fatal damage to both military equipment and energy facilities was avoided. However, hits happen again and again.
The sluggishness of the system seriously affects defensive capabilities. Once again we note the flight of the UAVs along the same trajectory into the refinery without any significant changes and again we note the absence of hangars for aviation. What makes it so difficult? Hangars and shelters are much cheaper than repairing or building a new aircraft, and installing a ZU-23 on a pickup truck is much easier than losing refinery capacity. Maybe there is something we don’t know or understand - we would like at least some reasonable arguments, but, of course, there are none."

Ukrainian drone raid - 23.07.2024

"Drone raid on Crimea and Sevastopol. July 23, 2024

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue attacking Russian territories in the Black Sea region with drones. This time the blow hit Sevastopol and the western part of Crimea.
The first wave of drones was shot down on approach to the Crimean coast by the Pantsir air defense crews of the 31st Air Defense Division of the Russian Armed Forces and Su-30SM naval aviation fighters of the Black Sea Fleet.
The second wave followed almost immediately after the first, but it was also mostly destroyed over the sea. Only two drones managed to break through to Sevastopol, where one was suppressed by electronic warfare, and the second was shot down by a mobile rifle group.
As a result, drone debris landed on a private home in a gardening cooperative in Fiolent, as well as in the vicinity of Monastyrskoe Highway. No serious damage was recorded, and there were no casualties.
Drone raids have already become commonplace in southern Russia. Almost every night the enemy uses drones in one way or another, either for attacks from the air or from the sea through the use of unmanned boats. Serious damage is avoided thanks to the work of air defense units, electronic warfare crews, and Naval Aviation Forces of the Russian Navy, but the number of attacks does not decrease, which is dangerous from the point of view of the consumption of anti-aircraft missiles and overloading the air defense network.
Even greater concerns are caused by the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not used missile weapons for attacks on Crimea for a long time - as a rule, this happens after UAV raids. Such a long break may indicate the enemy’s intention to accumulate a sufficient amount of missiles for a more massive attack, including on the Crimean Bridge."

Kharkov - 27.07.2024

"The situation in the Kharkov direction. July 17-27, 2024

Despite the practically unchanged line of combat contact in the north, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively conducting counterattacks on the positions of the Russian Armed Forces, seeking to recapture the territories lost at the beginning of this summer.
In the Hlyboke sector, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, supported by aviation and drones, repeatedly tried to advance to the center of the settlement, relying on positions in the Lira-1 gardening cooperative. At the moment, Russian troops have completely regained control over the village within its administrative boundaries.
At the same time, the enemy attempted to land troops from floating craft on the shore of the Travianske Reservoir, but to no avail. The group was destroyed by an airstrike of the Russian Aerospace Forces almost in its entirety. Most likely, the main purpose of the landing was the publicity component, since it was possible to approach Hlyboke in safer conditions under the cover of trees.
Fighting continues in the Starytsya sector, the southern outskirts of which are a combat zone. Considering that the Russian positions, north of the settlement, are on a small hill, the Russian Armed Forces are keeping most of the territory under fire control, preventing the Armed Forces of Ukraine from gaining a foothold.
It was possible to clarify the front line in the Kohutove sector thanks to footage, which recorded the work of the Russian Aerospace Forces aviation to reduce the combat potential of the enemy.
In Vovchansk, fierce urban fighting continues in the area of the high-rise apartment block. The territory of the aggregate plant also remains a site of heavy fighting - the western part of the industrial zone is under the control of Russian troops despite numerous enemy strikes by drones and Western-made guided bombs. Video footage received from the city revealed the current configuration of the contact line in the east of the city, where TOS "Solntsepyok" crews successfully hit enemy positions in the area of Kotsiubynskoho Street.
Along the entire length of the front in the Kharkov region, Russian troops have been tying down enemy forces, which were transferred from other areas, for several weeks. Thus, the Armed Forces of Ukraine weakened their defenses in other areas, where the Russian Armed Forces have the initiative and are breaking through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, for example in the Toretsk and Donetsk directions."

The defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Krasnohorivka continue to rapidly crumble under the onslaught of Russian troops. At the moment, most of the city is under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.
Active fighting that has been going on for the settlement since the beginning of January, apparently, is coming to its logical conclusion. With the capture of Krasnohorivka, the last line of defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine west of Donetsk, which has held almost unchanged since 2014, will fall.
Thanks to the footage published by war correspondent Andrei Filatov, it was possible to establish the exact area of the advance of the Russian Armed Forces on the northern outskirts of the city.

The Russian flag was hoisted on a building near the intersection of Byelinskoho and Lenina Streets, fighting is taking place on the approaches to Naberezhna Street. Thus, it becomes clear that Russian troops have leveled the front line from Parkhomenka to Michurina streets, reaching the edge of Nakhimov and Ostrovskoho streets. Now the main clashes are taking place on the Engelsa Street, adjacent to the Kolkhoz Lenina Microdistrict, which remains one of the last parts of Krasnohorivka controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy is still holding positions to the west of the city, where the residential sector, territorially adjacent to the city, stretches for 4.5 kilometers. Nevertheless, the main phase of fighting in dense urban development is actually over: according to available data, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not attempted any counterattacks in the last few days, probably preparing to retreat even further.
In addition, objective footage has emerged of Russian troops entering Yasnobrodivka, in the of north. Despite the fact that the Russian Defense Ministry announced the capture of the village several weeks ago, video confirmation was published only yesterday."

Pokrovsk - 28.07.2024

"The situation in the Pokrovsk direction. July 23-28, 2024

The crisis in the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Pokrovsk direction continues to worsen: over the past days, Russian troops have significantly advanced both on the northern and southern flanks. While passions and the search for those responsible for the loss of positions are raging in the enemy's information space, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces are gradually approaching the liberation of several more settlements.
The assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces liberated Lozovatske and are now advancing in the vicinity of the settlement. To the south, the road to Prohres and several forest belts to the west of it came under the control of the Russian Armed Forces. Recently, a video has been circulating on the Internet showing Russian stormtroopers capturing a Ukrainian stronghold located in the northern part of this section of the road, which confirms our information about its capture by Russian troops.
To the southwest of Prohres, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces, after several days of fighting, captured Vovche and are now developing an offensive along the railway towards the Zhelanne station. According to preliminary reports, assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces have already reached the eastern outskirts of Vesele, as well as the outer forest belts in front of Zhelanne, which is about one kilometer away. The enemy positions in both villages are being actively processed by Russian aviation and artillery, while Russian UAV crews are hunting for the equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At the moment, Russian troops are bypassing the enemy's main defensive lines, gradually enveloping them from the north. After the liberation of Zhelanne, several large enemy strongholds to the east of the village will be at risk of encirclement - a frontal assault on them could cause a lot of inconvenience to the Russian Armed Forces. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have also equipped positions in the Vesele-Serhiivka line, in front of which there are fields of "dragon's teeth" - in the future, Russian troops will have to overcome this line for a further offensive to the west.
The battles for Novoselivka Persha, which began more than a week ago, are coming to an end. On July 24, fighters of the 114th Motor Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces published a video with a Victory banner fluttering in the southwestern part of the village, which indicates that most of it has been captured.

According to preliminary data, the village has already been completely liberated by Russian troops, along with a wide sector of the front to the south, up to the Umanske-Yasnobrodivka line.
The position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Pokrovsk direction continues to deteriorate: despite active counterattacks, the enemy is unable to stabilize the situation. Ukrainian formations also complain about the increased activity of Russian drones in the vicinity of Pokrovsk, which leads to serious losses in motor vehicles and armored vehicles.
The Russian Armed Forces achieved success in several key sectors at once, and bypass powerful enemy defensive positions, creating a threat of encirclement. For now, the future actions of the Russian Command and their strategic goal remain unclear to us and, probably, to the enemy as well - will it be Pokrovsk, or will the Russian Armed Forces turn south in the Selydove direction? We will find out in the near future."

Kupyansk - 29.07.2024

"The situation in the Kupyansk-Svatove direction. July 22-29, 2024

After some activity at the beginning of the month and the advance of the Russian Armed Forces in Peschanoye/Pishchane, the situation in the Kupyansk-Svatove direction has returned to its previous "positional" course. Local battles are taking place almost along the entire contact line, with no major advances observed by either side.
There is an exchange of strikes to the northeast of Kupyansk. In recent days, the Russian Armed Forces conducted combat operations against Ukrainian positions both in the forest area east of Synkivka, and to the south of the settlement. Often, the strikes hit neighboring Petropavlovka, where an ammunition depot was recently destroyed by drone strike.
At the Stepova Novoselivka-Berestove line, the combat situation is partially hidden by the "fog of war". At the moment, there is no information that can confirm the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the west from Stepova Novoselivka and its subsequent liberation by the Russian troops.
Further south, it is difficult to establish the configuration of the front due to the lack of footage in open sources. Judging by the enemy resources, the forward positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Berestove area are quite close to the southern outskirts of the village, which indicates a lack of complete Russian control over its surroundings.
It was also possible to clarify the current front line in the Artemivka area, where the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces were able to advance to the eastern outskirts of the village earlier. However, they were unable to consolidate their positions and were forced to roll back a little: the probable reason is the difference in altitude between the banks of the Zherebets River, which is about 20 meters. At the same time, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces are also carrying out attacks with the support of armored vehicles towards neighboring Rozovka. During one of these raids, a Russian infantry fighting vehicle was blown up by a mine.
At the same time, the Russian Aerospace Forces regularly hit the rear lines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thus, a few days ago, an airstrike hit the enemy's pontoon crossing over the Oskil River, to the south of Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi, which was just restored after a previous strike.

Despite statements on the Internet about a possible major offensive operation of the Russian Armed Forces in the Kupyansk-Svatove direction, which began to appear after the liberation of Peschanoye/Pishchane, this information has not yet been confirmed. The fighting remains positional in nature - both parties carry out local attacks to improve their tactical situation, actively using UAVs, and the enemy maintains sufficient combat capability of units to maintain the stability of its defenses."

Toretsk - 29.07.2024

"The situation in the Oleksandro-Kalynove direction. July 23-29, 2024

Throughout the past week, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces continued to develop the offensive in the Oleksandro-Kalynove direction. The Ukrainian command has transferred new reinforcements to the area, but is not yet able to stabilize the front.
Against the backdrop of intense fighting, footage from both sides is arriving with a significant delay, which makes it difficult to establish the exact configuration of the front. However, taking into account the data that has appeared, we can state a further expansion of the control zone of the Russian Armed Forces.
In Zalizne, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces are advancing along Maiska and Chapayeva streets, having advanced about half a kilometer to the west in a week and entrenched themselves in houses on Engels Street. In the neighboring Pivnichne/Kirove, fighting is underway in the area of the Sotshorodok gardening community.
Just the other day, a notable incident occurred in the east of Zalizne: members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to deceive their way onto the positions of the Russian Armed Forces using Russian identification marks (white armbands). However, the enemy's plan was quickly uncovered, and the attack was successfully repelled.
In New York, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces are gradually advancing toward the center of the settlement. At the moment, the contact line is located south of the machine-building plant, but according to some reports, forward units of the Russian Armed Forces could have advanced even further, right up to the outskirts of the Phenol plant.
There were also reports about the offensive of Russian troops in the east of the settlement. However, judging by the footage of strikes on Ukrainian positions in the "pocket" on the southeastern outskirts of New York, the enemy still retains control over this area.

At the same time, the Russian Armed Forces managed to expand the "wedge" to the southwest of New York in the direction of the village of Panteleimonivka. The Armed Forces of Ukraine made no attempts to regain the lost territories, limiting themselves to strikes on Russian positions."

South Donetsk - 30.07.2024

"The situation in the Donetsk direction. July 6-30, 2024

For a month, Russian troops have been conducting offensive operations along the entire length of the front line in the South Donetsk direction.
Today, the enemy's footage of a Russian armored vehicle column attacking along the T-05-24 road from Pobjeda appeared. There was no activity in this area for quite a long time. Considering the fact that the Russian Forces were able to travel at least one and a half kilometers, this would hardly have been possible without clearing Ukrainian positions to the east. Thus, the strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the forest belts to the east also came under the control of the Russian Armed Forces. Here, another Leopard 2A4 tank was recently shot; the enemy will probably once again use this type of equipment to try to slow down the advance of Russian troops.

Further south, on the Praskoviivka-Kostyantynivka line, significant successes have not yet been achieved. Several assaults have led to only limited results. Based on the footage published online, it can be reliably assumed that the forward detachments of the Russian Armed Forces have consolidated their positions on the eastern edge of Chkalova and Shevchenka streets in Kostyantynivka. Despite the fact that the battles for the village have only just begun, it has already been heavily destroyed, indicating the high intensity of fighting in this area.
On the Novomykhailivka-Nikolske line, Russian troops are advancing on a broad front along the ravines, as well as near the railway. Having carried out a series of successful assaults, the Russian Armed Forces have advanced from 1,5 to 3,5 kilometers to the west. There are about two kilometers left to the T-05-24 road to Vuhledar. The offensive is taking place across open terrain, which is controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the shaft of the Pivdennodonbaska No.3 mine.
It is likely that the Russian Armed Forces will first try to destroy the Ukrainian positions on the territory of the mine with the support of aviation before they begin a further offensive towards the highway. Its cutting in the future may complicate the situation of the Ukrainian garrison in Vuhledar, which will have to be supplied through country roads, which will affect both the supply of provisions and the rotation of personnel."

The situation in the South Donetsk direction continues to develop dynamically: if a few days ago we wrote about a significant expansion of the Russian zone of control almost along the entire contact line, then today new evidence of the advance of Russian troops appeared.
In the Pobjeda sector, Russian troops occupied a section of terrain north of the T-05-24 road. This is also confirmed by the enemy strikes on advancing Russian armored vehicles.
To the southwest, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces cut the T-05-24 highway connecting Kostyantynivka and Vuhledar. The advance in this sector was more than two kilometers. A Russian flag was installed on the back of one of the vehicles on the highway itself.

The capture of the section of the Vuhledar-Kostyantynivka highway by Russian troops will both strengthen the pressure on the southern outskirts of the latter and worsen the situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the Ikryanoy Gully. Therefore, it is not surprising that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is hastily transferring reinforcements to the sector, including from the Vodyane and Vuhledar garrisons.
At the same time, the Russian Aerospace Forces continue to strike the enemy's front and rear targets. One of the strikes was on the ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the hangar of the former agricultural firm "Agrotis".
Russian UAV operators are also effective. Almost regularly, footage of successful destruction of Ukrainian armored vehicles appears on the Internet - one of them was a drone hitting an enemy infantry fighting vehicle south of Katerynivka."

The situation in the Pokrovsk direction continues to develop rapidly - Russian troops are conducting an offensive on a broad front from Tymofiivka to Yasnobrodivka. Despite the arrival of new units, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is unable to stabilize the situation and stop the advance of the Russian Armed Forces. The position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine remains stably difficult, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces bypass the enemy's fortified positions and are actively hunting for armored vehicles using new drones.
On the northern flank, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces occupied the southern part of Tymofiivka, where there is a crossing over the Kazenyi Torets River, used by the enemy to supply his troops. The enemy still holds positions in the northern part of the village, but most of its territory has already come under the control of Russian troops.
South of the settlement, Russian troops have occupied a large Ukrainian stronghold. The "wedge" in the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was formed as a result of the liberation of southern Tymofiivka, will simplify the subsequent offensive on neighboring Vozdvyzhenka and Lysychne.
Russian troops have also established complete control over Vesele, located northeast of the railway, along which the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces had previously advanced in this area. Enemy units have retreated to fortified positions to the northeast of the settlement.
To the south, Russian troops were able to approach Zhelanne and, according to preliminary reports, have already entered it in the area of the railway station. However, this information has not yet been confirmed by either footage or reports from sources "on the ground".
A major stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to the east of Zhelanne, has apparently also been captured by the Russian Armed Forces. This was largely possible due to the previously formed "semi-ring" around the enemy's positions, which made it possible to cut off Ukrainian units defending this area from supplies. Now the Russian Armed Forces have the opportunity to develop an offensive to the south, bypassing the strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the right bank of the Vovcha River.
On the southern flank of the "Pokrovsk salient", Russian troops are gradually advancing towards Mezhove, relying on the previously liberated Novoselivka Persha. The enemy, seeking to slow down the advance of the Russian Armed Forces, is actively mining the approaches to both Mezhove itself and the neighboring Skuchne. Minefields are also being installed in the area of the Vovcha River bed, to the west of both settlements, which represent the enemy's last line of defense on the left bank. After their liberation, the Russian Armed Forces will be able to force the water barrier and develop an offensive towards Komyshivka, creating a "semi-ring" around the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fighting on the Zhelanne-Mezhove line."

Ukrainian drone raid

"Massive Ukrainian drone raid. August 3, 2024

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have once again carried out a massive drone attack on targets in the rear and border regions of Russia.
Over 50 drones have been shot down in the Rostov Region. Once again, the target of the attack was the Morozovsk airfield. The attack hit an ammunition depot on the territory of the airfield, causing a powerful detonation. No losses were reported among the flight crew or aircraft. And another group of drones attacked the Atlas Combine oil depot of Rosrezerv, at least one of the tanks is still burning. Once again, numerous videos from the scene were published online, which allowed the enemy to establish the exact location of the strikes.

Also, as a result of a massive drone attack on the Rostov region, "warehouse facilities" in the Kamensky and Morozovsky districts of the region were damaged. The regional governor Vasily Golubev reported.

Several UAVs were intercepted in the Voronezh and Ryazan Regions, as well as in the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Krasnodar Territory, without casualties or consequences on the ground.
In the border regions, an oil depot in the city of Gubkin in the Belgorod region was attacked, the fire on its territory was quickly extinguished. A drone attack on objects in Kursk and the region was also repelled: at least six drones were shot down.
Two drones hit one of the multi-story buildings in the Bolkhovsky microdistrict in the city of Oryol.

Toretsk - 03.08.2024

"The situation in the Oleksandro-Kalynove direction. July 30 - August 3, 2024

The Oleksandro-Kalynove direction, where fighting on the approaches to Toretsk unfolded, continues to remain a key point of attraction on the front line along with the Pokrovsk direction. Fierce resistance and the transfer of new units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, does not help the enemy stop the advance of the Russian Armed Forces to the center of the agglomeration.
In the Druzhba sector, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces are gradually advancing along the Zaliznychna Street, pushing the enemy out of positions in the residential sector. At the end of July, it became known that the Russian Armed Forces had occupied a number of houses on the eastern outskirts of Stepova Street, but there was no information about further advances in this area.
In Zalizne, after a series of successful attacks, Russian troops advanced to the foot of the waste heap of the Artyom Mine, which the enemy is using as an advantageous defensive position. At the moment, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces have consolidated their positions in the ruined buildings of the former Artyom Mine, from where it is possible to bypass the Ukrainian stronghold from the flanks.
At the same time, it also became known that the fighting has already unfolded within the borders of Toretsk. Russian troops drove the Armed Forces of Ukraine out of several positions in the cemetery area and consolidated their positions. Now, after leveling the front line along Pioneriv Avenue and the streets adjacent to it, Russian troops will have to take the waste heap itself, and only then begin fighting inside the urban center of Toretsk. Over the past ten years, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have managed to turn the approaches to it into a powerful fortified area.
To the southwest, Russian troops have taken up new positions on Sportyvna and Komarova Streets. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, probably to contain the advance, sent Marder 1A3 infantry fighting vehicles to the front, which had not previously been spotted in the area. One armored vehicle was abandoned and subsequently destroyed by strikes from several FPV drones.

At the moment, the Russian Armed Forces have the prospect of an offensive in the direction of Nelipivka, which will allow them to encircle most of the New York garrison.
In New York itself, there have been no significant changes in the configuration of the front over the past few days. Rumors about Russian troops entering the territory of the auto repair plant, and especially the Phenol Plant, have not yet been confirmed. According to the latest available data, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a counter-attack and landed troops on Naberezhnyi Lane near the Kryvyi Torets River near the industrial zone, trying to recapture the residential sector."

In the Artemovsk direction, after several months of fighting on the eastern outskirts of Chasiv Yar, Russian troops crossed the Seversky Donets-Donbass Canal and began the assault on the Oktyabrskyi Microdistrict.
Russian troops advanced in Kalynivka/Kalinina, which is divided into two parts by the canal, and passed along the land part of the already dried up water obstacle, which made it possible to bypass the minefields along the main road through the village. Fighting continues on the western outskirts of the settlement.
Soon after, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces finally cleared the Orlova Tract, where the enemy held pre-prepared positions. This was the last Ukrainian stronghold on the eastern outskirts of Chasiv Yar, which the Armed Forces of Ukraine clung to for more than a month.
Yesterday, the Russian Armed Forces landed troops near the O0506 highway and cleared the trenches on the approaches to the first houses in the residential sector of the Oktyabrskyi Microdistrict. By the evening, Russian stormtroopers advanced another half a kilometer along the road, gaining a foothold in the first houses on the Mariupolska Street.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively using Baba Yaga-type agrodrones, from which they drop TM-62 anti-tank mines, trying to slow down the advance of the Russian Army in the microdistrict. However, no more than just a day passed from the moment of crossing the canal to taking up positions in the first houses on the western bank: now the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces, relying on the residential sector, will be able to advance more effectively.
At the same time, Russian troops are active on the southern flank, where the front line has been practically motionless in recent weeks. In Klishchiivka, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces have resumed attacks in the area of Height 215 - in winter it was under the control of Russian troops, but it was abandoned during the battles in the spring. Now, an assault group of the Russian Armed Forces took control of one of the trenches on the eastern outskirts of the stronghold located on the hill: during the battle, one of the Ukrainian soldiers was captured. Given the size of the stronghold, the battle for it may continue for more than one month and its rapid cleanup is currently hardly possible."

Ukrainian incursions into Russia - August 6, 2024.

For the second time in a year, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted to land on the Tendra Spit, southwest of the Kinburn Peninsula. This in an isolated place: only a lighthouse, where a small group of Russian marines sits and monitors the air and sea space. Considering that the previous operation was planned by the HUR, there is reason to believe that this one was planned in exactly the same way. And its result was the same.
Since midnight, the Armed Forces of Ukraine began reconnaissance of the landing site, using a Bayraktar TB2 drone from the vicinity of Ochakiv. To distract the attention of the Tendra lighthouse garrison, an unmanned boat was launched - one of the garrison's tasks is to observe enemy cruise missiles, UAV flights, and naval drones.
At about three o'clock in the morning, twelve boats with Ukrainian troops moved toward the spit, intending to land. As a result of a short battle, the first three boats were destroyed - they were washed ashore. The remaining nine turned around and moved in the opposite direction.
The enemy's losses during another failed landing are estimated at up to 20 people. As for the lighthouse garrison, five marines got off with minor injuries received during the skirmish.
What happened once again proves a simple truth: the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not give up on the attempts to occupy individual points in the Kherson region. At the same time, there is no long-term strategy: the main goal is to capture some point despite losing people. And how will the people be supplied there and how will they defend themselves from Russian forces is secondary. The media component is all that matters."

This morning, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted an offensive in the Kursk region - at the moment, the main events are unfolding in the Sudzha and Korenevo districts. The information about the enemy's attempt to break through was confirmed by the acting head of the region, Alexey Smirnov.
At night, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck across the Kursk region, launching at least 26 drones. Most of the strikes were in Sudzha, where five civilians were injured, including three children. Footage of severe damage to residential buildings is available on the Internet.
Later, Ukrainian formations launched attacks in several areas. In the Korenevo district, the enemy began moving from Vladymirivka in the direction of Gordeevka. In the Sudzha district, the enemy's offensive is developing from the Sudzha checkpoint and the Hlyboke Tract.
The main direction of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is aimed at Goncharovka and Kurilovka. According to incoming information, the enemy managed to wedge himself along the 38K-004 highway, where at least three Ukrainian tanks and a group of infantry were spotted near the Sudzha checkpoint. Several armored vehicles were already destroyed.
Another direction of the enemy's attacks was the Nikolaevo-Darino - Sverdlikovo line: according to preliminary information, fighting is taking place on the outskirts of the settlements. In this area, Ukrainian armored vehicles with a new tactical identification mark in the form of a triangle were also spotted.
In the Ukrainian media, what is happening is presented from diametrically opposed positions: while some call the offensive an information and psychological operation organized by the Russian authorities, others, in their usual manner, exaggerate the successes, talking about the beginning of the fighting almost in Sudzha itself.
Against the backdrop of Ukrainian attacks, several Russian media outlets reported that at night and early in the morning, Russian drone operators noticed a concentration of enemy forces along the border, but due to bureaucratic red tape and fear of making a decision, no one gave the order to inflict fire damage.
Nevertheless, the Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region is nothing new - another PR campaign, following the example of last year's attacks in the border areas. And the goals of such actions are obvious: distracting the attention of their own population from failures in other parts of the front, as well as an attempt to stretch the forces of the "North" group of the Russian Armed Forces, forcing them to redeploy units from Vovchansk and Hlyboke.
All previous attempts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to enter the border areas of the Belgorod and Kursk regions have always ended with significant losses and their retreat. And although the outcome of the enemy's new attempt is not in doubt, the threat of new Ukrainian offensives will continue to support the need to create a "sanitary zone" around the Russian border."
