TLDR:
doing certain isometric grip exercises (e.g. hanging) for short periods of time (10 minutes of training twice per day) massively increases your grip strength because you get all of the growth activation factors without the unnecessary additional fatigue.
Is there a me too thread? Jared Leto, the musician and actor has been me tooed yesterday for banging underage groupies. I don’t think it will affect his music career(don’t most of them do this?).

Currently at 1:19am EST we have 2,084 lurkers with 17 members signed in. The lurker to active member's ratio just gets weirder and more out of whack.

These are just internet bots scanning the internet. Obviously they are looking for politically correct results to promote, or downgrade if the results are politically correct.
They are mostly irrelevant. If they don't find what they want, they will downgrade the search score assigned to this site. However, so many people are searching for sites like this, the Google strategy is not working.

I would still assume the lurker count is at least 2-3x higher than the member count. On the RVF it was that, sometimes it was 10x.
So out of those 2K lurkers, about 5% of them are real.
The bots are absolutely insane nowadays. We get thousands of fake signups. Makes it really tough to tell when a legit user creates an account. We've banned hundreds of fake domains from even applying to register on this site.

I'm staying in a hotel tonight and was flipping through the TV channels and landed on the opening scene to this kids show "The Wizards Of Waverly Place." In the 60 second opening I saw a 12 year old mulatto girl dressed up like a goth whore in black leather bondage attire complete with thigh high mini skirt who was casting a ("black") magic spell with a wand that created a live dinosaur egg. Some hispanic/white mixed homosexual looking man entered the scene and threatened to take her phone away for two weeks if she didn't disappear the dinosaur egg, to which she responded to the camera (i.e. the children watching the show), "So much for telling the truth, I guess I'll have to start lying again" (canned laughter ensued)... mis en scene. Then the introductory titles and credits rolled introducing a cast of various blends of mixed race child actors to appear in the episode including one very gay and effeminate looking hispanic "boy."

Well, on the Lord's awful Day of Judgement, when the mouth of Hell is opened wide to accept them, such people will thrash and writhe in agony and mortal terror when they are cast into the pit of eternal torment...and 'eternal' means 'FOREVER'.
This is literally the mentality that Latin American people are taught from a young age.
I have been to Colombia, Peru, Chile and Mexico. For the most part the only decent people with morals in Latin America are people who are 55+ who were the last generation of Christians (mostly Catholics). After religion died in Latin America everything went to hell and we got to where we are today. Almost every young person in Latin America lies through their teeth about everything.
You see this in daily interaction. For example catch a taxi, if the taxi driver is 30 years old he will often try and rip you off as a foreigner because he assumes you don’t know the correct fare but if he is 60 years old he will almost never try to rip you off. Or for example you will hear stories of young people borrowing money from their cousin or best friend and never paying it back which kills the relationship. In Latin America they have the saying “no dar papaya” which encapsulates the mentality that anybody who gets taken advantage of it’s their own fault because kindness or optimism about others or trusting others is seen as weakness or stupidity and thus it’s your fault for trusting others.
Old people in Latin America when you speak to them just have a sort of decorum about them and seem refreshingly honest and when you have a conversation with them about the moral decay of their country they know exactly what you are talking about and seem a little sad about it but seem resigned to the new reality.

My moods tend to go up and down, and sometimes I get depressed and start feeling sorry for myself.
So tonight I was at the grocery store and feeling kind of dissatisfied with some of my circumstances. Feeling sorry for myself. I came around the corner of the aisle, and here's this handsome young man, rolling by in his wheel chair, humming a tune.
I've long known that the thing to do when I feel like this is to count my blessings, and to recognize that a lot of people have things way worse than me. I mean, my problems and disappointments in life are real, but they're on the moderate end of the scale compared to real problems like being wheelchair bound.
It was a pretty strong reminder to stop indulging in negative thoughts.
