I checked MarineTraffic and there are ships both inside the harbour, and waiting at the anchorage, no one is running away. Hard to tell what exactly gets hit, as Israel keeps a tight lid on the media, but from what I've been reading there were hits at a refinery, some kind of logistics (rail near the airport??) and tonight the power plant. Some missiles hit the suburbs, but I've got no idea what was there.
The Dept. of Defense budget increases make things worse. More money means more corruption.
Can't recall the exact time, maybe 2014 Putin put out that video explaining to American military brass that Russia had hypersonics and there is no defense.
That was 10 years ago and we've spent trillions and still don't have them. I doubt they are even in the planning stage.

What is the accuracy of Iran's missiles? I understood when they hit the US base several years ago, they struck a series of bunkers with pinpoint accuracy. In comparison, the Houthi's seems to only be able to lob missiles in the general direction of Israel.

Most of them are probably low quality, with a few modern thrown in here and there.

Questionable decisions in the heat of war aren't necessarily indicative of IQ though. Those generals might simply have been delusional and completely underestimated Israel's capabilities.
That said, the inbreeding definitely isn't beneficial and I wouldn't be surprised, if they believed they could just Inshallah their way to safety. Certainly a dumb decision, not just in hindsight.
It's almost the height of summer, so the vulnerable Israeli water supply ought to be a legitimate target. Hit those desalination plants and pipelines hard and life will get tough fast. I was wondering about that - some of the videos idf released a few days ago showed "missile launchers" being destroyed, but the supposed missile visibly right next to the impact blast never seemed to detonate or ignite in any way. No secondary explosions or prolonged burn out.
