European leaders can't back an Israel-US coalition militarily this time, there are too many Muslims in Europe and they would riot and go crazy if say France or the UK decided to back Israel with weapons etc. The US must pay for everything, but the sentiment is not the same as it was during the 90's and early 2000's, mostly due to people getting their info from other sources than the MSM. If it drags on, Israel might be in more trouble that they thought when they started this thing. Iran is not laying down so easily...

I don't want to romanticise Islam, but I think that the willingness among their men to join the army and fight and sacrifice themselves for a "greater religious cause", essentially as "Mujahideen", is probably very high, given a legitimate shot at victory and, of course, their fundamentalist beliefs.

Similar to The Crusades in Europe, if there ever was anything to die for, it's probably this event right here, at least in the collective Muslim mind.
They can, but not as deep as they say. Stills from one of the recent strikes on Tehran show Israeli "Spice 1000" glide bombs.
Their glide range is 100-125km (depending on the source). Tehran is around 500km from Iran's western border, so based on this we know that Israelis are able to fly up to 400km inside Iran.
