Don't Australia and New Zealand commemorate the Anzacs and the Gallipoli folly annually? Shouldn't that at the very least instill some skepticism when it comes to Britain?
The US has lifted sanctions on a significant number of Myanmar junta tied individuals. Talk is that this is the prelude to a US move aimed at swooping into Myanmar by engineering peacetalks between the junta and some of the bigger rebel movements, which will then result into US leverage and a subsequent US-Myanmar minerals deal. The Myanmar junta is currently close to China and Russia.
The US is especially interested in the raw earth's found in the KIA held territory in Northern Myanmar. Below is a map of current areas of control, the junta is still losing ground albeit at a lower pace. In the North a few ethnic Han Chinese rebel groups entered into an agreement with the junta under China's mediation, in the rest of the country the civil war rages on.

Pakistani leadership is two faced just like the rest of the Muslim world. In front of the cameras they act belligerent and in line with the populace's general perception, when the recording light gets turned off the mood changes immediately. FYI, the US B2 Fordow strike left Iran in part flying over Pakistani territory, there is a lot of US recon and intel gathering on Iran happening from covert US bases in Pakistan, and the Pakistan-Iran border has been closed on US orders.
The US Pakistan relation is about to get a new dimension. Pakistan is broker than broke hence Field Marshal Asim Munir went for a 5 day visit to DC, where he got to hang with Donny and the gang. Looking for investment and cooperation. Munir calls all the shots in Pakistan for what it's worth, civilian government is controlled by the junta which in turn is led by Asim Munir.
Trump and Munir discussed big topics even though much of it was behind closed doors. This is mostly due to Munir's de jure non government status as he officially doesn't have a position in the Pakistani civilian government. Details will come out soon.
Alarm bells have been going off in Beijing and New Delhi non stop. And Tehran too probably, if the electricity is on at least. Per Pakistani Federal Minister Qaisar Ahmed Shaikh, Munir is in DC to negotiate yet another US manufactured mineral deal, this time concerning Baluchistan. Likewise there are strong rumours about a deal on formalizing US presence in Pakistani Airbases, in particular Nur Khan Airbase and Jacobabad Air Base. Chinese MSS is raising red flags, Indian sources have been claiming US presence in and around several of Pakistan's (nuclear) ABs for years.

Judging by the mutually flattering language Munir's visir was a success, Munir even nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize Award due to his efforts on negotiating peace between Pakistan and India back in May. Smart move, that ego is gigantic and needs constant attention.

Some interesting info on the assassination on Iranian Chief of Staff Bagheri, in which Pakistan could have had a hand. Bagheri and Munir met days before the Israeli attack. Article asserts Bagheri was handed a watch as a gift, the watch was rigged and contained a tracker. 4 days later Bagheri and the rest of the IRGC leadership got capped.
