Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Thread

For those more knowledgeable in the AI space, what do you recommend tools like ChatGPT be used for?

What’s a daily habit I can implement that would add value to my life, help me self improve, or help with daily tasks?

Very useful for writing business content, saves time, however, use it as a starting point for your content rather than the final product, I think in 2025 a lot of people can spot a text generated by AI vs an "organic" one.

OK so this is what cahtgpt has to say about your question above:

What’s a daily habit I can implement that would add value to my life, help me self improve, or help with daily tasks?

Great question! Here are a few daily habits you could implement, depending on what area of life you want to improve:

General Self-Improvement

  • Morning Reflection (5 min): Write down 3 things you're grateful for and 3 priorities for the day.
  • Reading (10-20 min): Read something that expands your knowledge or mindset.
  • Cold Showers: Builds discipline, boosts energy, and can improve mood.

Productivity & Daily Tasks

  • Nightly Planning (5 min): Review your day and set priorities for the next day.
  • The 2-Minute Rule: If something takes less than 2 minutes to do (responding to an email, putting something away), do it immediately.
  • Tidy Up for 10 Minutes: A clutter-free space leads to a clutter-free mind.

Physical & Mental Health

  • Daily Walk (20 min): Clears your mind and keeps you moving.
  • Breathwork or Meditation (5-10 min): Helps with stress and focus.
  • Hydration Habit: Start your day with a full glass of water.
Would you like me to tailor a suggestion to a specific goal you’re working on?"

So nothing about a daily prayer then...

Use it for information, lets say you having trouble connecting a printer to your devices, ask Chat GPT how to do it instead of calling an IT guy it might give you good info, stuff like that, lets say you interested in applying for a gun permit in your state or country and you not sure where to start or what the laws are, ask Chat GPT, maybe you want to know statistics its also good for that but be aware that for sensitive stats it wont be as accurate and you have to ask the questions from various angles to get a true answer. I also ignore the mind reading asnwers Chat GPT gives, for example, chat GPT doesnt know why a person did something in history it doesnt know the intentions of the heart but it will still give you an answer as to "why" people in history did XYZ so those answers I ignore.

This is mind reading answer from chat GPT and this is the kind of things I would avoid asking AI, notice how it encourages you to do meditation and breathe work, why didnt it instruct us to go to church, fast and have a prayer rule? The church actually tells us to avoid breathe work and meditation. Why didnt it encourage us to stop watching porn? Why must I go for a 20min walk thats a womans exercise.

Can you see the dangers of asking AI for life advice? I think we as Christians should treat AI like an ouji board and be very careful with the kind of questions we ask it.

For life advice and spiritual guidance we must ask our priest, spiritual guides etc...

It's useful for DIY guides. I recently bought a motrocycle and it helped me learn DIY repairs for that particular model.

Another use case, it produced for me a thorough fasting plan for the coming Lent, according to the Orthodox rules, with recipes, weekly grocery lists, prices, calories and macronutrient totals, together with a muscle retention low-intensity exersice program.

As with all things, it is dependent on the question that you ask. I have had discussions about the Church Fathers and why Chrisianity is the only cohesive worldview. I logically convinced it (asking to check for logical fallacy) at each step of a proof for God.

Regarding what it is most helpful for - use it as a replacement for Google (which has been getting horrendous in the last few years) for research. Use it to check your grammar or to teach you a language. Use it to do your taxes, or to plan out a trip. I use it to write bash scripts that automate workflows.

Thats besides the point though we not really supposed to be focusing on our phones and AI recommendations during lent, we supposed to be focussing on God, repentance and prayer.

I personally will stay away from AI for things regarding the church.

New news my friends in Russia regions now begin do AI make diagnosis of patients.

Russia leading world in many science my friends, this is very good for many regions in Russia with less people, hospital always far now AI do diagnosis on computer!!

Machine Learning had been used in the medical imaging for decades, this headline is just a case of journalists being dumb scum.
