Iran-Israeli Conflict Thread

That drone impact seems militarily useless. I know drones and missiles have become the predominant form of warfare now, and they made traditional movement on the battlefield obsolete.

However, sending one small drone for a long distance to blow up one random building in a big city seems completely irrelevant. I suppose it's possible that the target had some kind of strategic value, but it looked like one out of 100,000 other buildings just like it.

Actually that's something that further drives my point. Russia decided to "hold back" and now they are still fighting 4 years later. Seems like if they really wanted those "Kiev will fall within 6 months" theories to be fulfilled, they should struck quicker with the most powerful forces they could have mustered. Now they are stuck in an attrition war. With Russia I remember seeing lots of stuff about how apparently their economy is still humming along so trying to outlast Ukraine is viable but Iran doesn't have the same advantage given how unstable they've been in the last few years.
Russia is crushing the west in the war and draining our resources. Seems like it is working just fine for Russia.

"Crushing" years ago meant that Russia would soon be in Kiev. Now it's "draining resources" that means one side is "crushing" the other one?

Iran making very smart moves. Make it too expensive for the elites in the surrounding countries to support the Israel regime. The people in these countries already do not support Israel, make the elites make a tough decision to cut their losses and side with their people.

I'm going with the probability that the Shahed did not see the building on its route to the intended target, they fly blind to a coordinate.

Iran is often causing big problems for the governments in the rest of the Middle East and they do it with underhanded tactics, Iranian Muslims are not thought of highly in the Middle East. So as much as they despise israel I don't think they are going be sticking their necks out for them, they don't have anything to gain from Iran prevailing in anything or having any type of superiority.
