Iran-Israeli Conflict Thread

If they had hypersonic missiles they would use them.

If they're actually gonna shoot a US base (which they did) then they're willing to do whatever they can. An aircraft carrier is a high value target for US success and thus if I'm in the targeting cell it's something I'm looking to knock those out quickly to prevent continual sorties and power projection from the sea.
LOL, they used them in the 12 day war.

You mean anti-ship missiles from China? I have no idea if they have those or not, I don't think anyone knows, other than Iran and China.

Can Shaheds 'see' to avoid obstacles, or do they just fly to a GPS location effectively blind? Would Iran want to target a tower block? It does not seem very likely.

While there are more advanced variants equipped with cameras used in the ukraine, the original Iranian shahed-136 is a bare-bones design with nothing more than a basic guidance system and no data link.

I assume this is actual real time footage!

To use their cheap/small stuff to drain our air defense systems, just like they did last time. Also, in a war, you try to never expose your flank, or in the modern world, let the other side see everything you have when there is a chance to avoid it. Just like Russia not showing us everything they have in Ukraine.
Actually that's something that further drives my point. Russia decided to "hold back" and now they are still fighting 4 years later. Seems like if they really wanted those "Kiev will fall within 6 months" theories to be fulfilled, they should struck quicker with the most powerful forces they could have mustered. Now they are stuck in an attrition war. With Russia I remember seeing lots of stuff about how apparently their economy is still humming along so trying to outlast Ukraine is viable but Iran doesn't have the same advantage given how unstable they've been in the last few years.

Yea it does, did you look it up? Time for you to get red pilled.
Are the sources of these red pills going to be from the same podcasts that caused you to turn into IIMT we all know? If you want to make an argument, write something up and make your points instead of just differing your thinking to random dissident right online influencers.

What's the reasons for these attacks against Kuwait, Bahrain and anywhere else, against seeming civilian targets? These don't look like collateral damage.

Could be poor quality of guidance systems, or electronic warfare interference (or both).
But it could also be a deliberate campaign to inflict damage on our regional allies to scare their populations and affect their policy making.
