Reza Pahlavi is not perfect, and of course, he has his flaws. However, compared to the mullahs, he remains the best option for Iran at this moment. As clichéd as it may sound, he is neither aligned with the West nor the Islamists—he is on the side of Iran.
Unfortunately, many people believe the solution is either maintaining the Islamic Republic, which continues to stand against ZOG, or toppling it and replacing it with a democracy. But why not restore the Shah to his rightful throne?
Reza Pahlavi does not seek power out of personal ambition. Rather, as the rightful ruler of Iran, it is his duty to lead his nation, and the people need him. Unlike a presidency, which is a position of privilege attained through winning elections, the role of Shah is a solemn responsibility. He never chose to be born as the Crown Prince of Iran, but God placed him in this position. It is a duty that cannot be abandoned—just as a father or husband cannot forsake his responsibilities.
I truly believe that if the Shah were to reclaim his throne, Iran could restore its past imperial glory while maintaining strong relations with both Middle Eastern countries and the West. He would not necessarily be a puppet, as his father—though initially intended to be one, as you mentioned—ultimately managed to break free and stand for what was best for Iran.
Like I said, it's not about politics from my POV. From my POV it's about a spoiled princeling who calls others to fight for his throne, while living in comfort and safety halfway across the world. If, as You say, it's his sacred duty to lead his people, than what he's doing living in LA? Why isn't he leading the rebellion against the mullahs himself?
