Not sure if this was posted. Trump signed an EO a few days ago, "Eradicating Anti-Christian Bias".

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered:

Section 1. Purpose and Policy. It is the policy of the United States, and the purpose of this order, to protect the religious freedoms of Americans and end the anti-Christian weaponization of government. The Founders established a Nation in which people were free to practice their faith without fear of discrimination or retaliation by their government.

For that reason, the United States Constitution enshrines the fundamental right to religious liberty in the First Amendment. Federal laws like the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993, as amended (42 U.S.C. 2000bb et seq.), further prohibit government interference with Americans’ rights to exercise their religion. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended (42 U.S.C. 2000e et seq.), prohibits religious discrimination in employment while Federal hate-crime laws prohibit offenses committed due to religious animus.

POLITICAL UPDATE: US President Donald Trump signed an executive order targeting South Africa over the alleged mistreatment of the countries minority Afrikaner populations.

The order stipulates that the US will cut all foreign aid to South Africa and that it will facilitate the resettlement of Afrikaners whose lands has been expropriated by the government.

The order comes after the South African government introduced the Expropriation Bill, a piece of legislation that facilitate the purchase of private land for public use.

Bondi has started enforcing immigration laws. Let's hope she use her position as DOJ AG to go after the lawbreakers and/or Sanctuary Cities/States who refuse to cooperate with Homan's ICE.

Sad thing is, in Canada, when the SA apartheid regime ended, we had a Conservative government. A lot of Afrikaners immigrated here, especially to BC's Fraser Valley (large historical Dutch community). Now, a White South African wouldn't stand a snowball's chance of getting a visa. Hopefully many oppressed Christian Afrikaners will find a better life in the USA. 🙏
 
For me, the term "performing arts" has been sullied. I'm always apprehensive when it's used.

Below images are from the last Kennedy Center Honors and the one from 2014. Those ribbons are an eyesore, and Francis Ford Coppola looks like he's rather be anywhere else. I thought the ribbons might've been a recent thing so I went back a decade and they were still wearing them.
