Horrible take. A lot of the interview was cringy. He praised the 50 year mortgage and the Chinese student thing is a joke. At least she challenged him on it. Seems like he’s listening too much to tech nerds and subversives like Vivek.
I am generally pretty accommodating to Trump. Even to the point where I'm called a shill here by some.
This is objectively one of the worst things I've ever heard from someone whom I know does actually know better with his business success.

Mainly immigration. This admin is trying to work on the immigration issue with DHS / ICE and the H1B fees. First time in my life I’ve seen people getting removed. My take is remove them all, but that’s not realistic. If we can remove several million it will help with the demographic changes. My main concern is what happens if Vance or whoever loses in 2028 and they try to flood again. I’m hoping the Rs realize that if they don’t remove the migrants they will never win again which would have happened if Kamala won.
You know this is all theatre, correct? That he is poisoning the well by turning what should be a quiet going after employers into making it an episode of Cops, using Comisar looking ICE agents beating up children and displayed all over the internet, which is turning people off the anti-illegal immigration stance. That there are still 10's of millions of illegals in the country because they can still be hired and get welfare and at the rate of his deportations, there will still be 10's of millions.
As for H-1B, that is a much easier fix, just stop the system altogether. Instead, he creates a fake $100,000 fine, that doesn't apply to the ones here causing massive issues and will just be loopholed, if need be or done away with when he is gone.

I don’t think it’s theatre. I think Trump has always been somewhat of a moderate anyway. As a business man that’s his main focus. If he’s wanted it to be theatre he could have just lied like every other politician and changed his tune once in office. Just keep everything quiet and keep importing migrants, but he didn’t. He actually helped get billions for ICE and is deporting. Shutting down everything completely is not that easy. We’re not there so it’s armchair quarterbacking with any suggestions on that front.
I hope the Rs realize that they need to remove the overseers of the migration or they'll pull the same thing again as soon as they can.
Very tragic news. Really bad. Trump is not the cause of the chaos in the Syrian territory, he plays with the cards he was dealt, I'm all for it but it would take a massive military operation to install an allied Christian or a secular Muslim government there. I don't mind, no matter what it takes, my support would not waver if the US got some oil and gas deals out of it. Better that than Iraq or the Stan.
Russians have had it easier, in the Soviet days they were spearheading Arab Socialism in the ME, which by definition is a secular/a-religious or atheistic system, there's no place for God in Marxism, they installed Assad's father in Damascus. Third-worlders tend to love the socialist spiel about equality and stability, so the only motivated and effective opposition you could muster against their dictators to put your satrap in the capital, were Islamic fanatics. Speaking as a devil's advocate, it is a Muslim country so they want a radical leader, the way I want a government sticking to an ultra Christian line. Through their eyes they got a better deal this time, in those places problems are solved using brute force. Of course nobody is coming from abroad to destroy the corrupt system and give Americans what they want on the home turf- for those who'd want to tell the doctor to heal himself first.
Why doesn't he help the young people in Appalachia to build a meaningful future for themselves, lots of wasted talent there.
