The fact that these boomers and older act like this is surprising is still a slap in the face to everyone who accurately stated what was going on back then. It never made sense. Period.
It was clear to me by May/June 2020 what was going on, and I fought it every step of the way. It's still shocking to me that the supposed "brightest minds" in the medical field took so long to catch on.
They long ago got accustomed to looking things up from a handful of sources. The skeptics among them who stuck out got hammered down.

It winds me up that I was strongly encouraged to do the 'right thing' by someone of authority, backed up as well by another 'intelligent' mature Christian, complete with accompanying pieces of scripture:
Ephesians 6:5-8
"Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear and sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ. / And do this not only to please them while they are watching, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart. / Serve with good will, as to the Lord and not to men"
"Love your neighbour as thyself"
I'm starting to think there's a colossal difference between what sort of Christian you are based on your own personality and T which can't be changed: you're either conservative who perceives danger and wants to preserve the status quo or you're liberal who doesn't.
