Charlie Kirk Thread

I thought 4 Chan grabbed some Troon. Honestly my guess was Troon or a Nat Soc. I didn’t think a anti-fa nut could do it. They usually operate in packs. This kind of stuff is more so Troon and Nazi modus operandi.
What is "troon and Nazi"? The Nazi's were formed to defeat the troon movement in Germany in the 1930's and the same is coming back today again.

I was a little surprised that some of the guys here expressed feeling traumatized by seeing a video of the shooting. It's terrible of course, but more for Kirk's family and especially his children. It looked like he died instantly and probably didn't even know what hit him. I'm well aware that far worse is happening to many, many nonfamous people daily in places like Ukraine and Gaza. Seeing a video of it or not seeing it doesn't make much difference to me.

Well because you don't expect to open a video thinking you were seeing one of his classic, harmless debates then his neck being blown apart (expectation vs reality).

If I went into it knowing that I was about to see death (ie going to a horror film), it has a lesser effect.

This comment likely makes you one of the "senders" I noted above. And it's autistic to send out videos like that to friends and family without some sort of disclaimer.

If someone sent you a link suggesting that it was just going to be a typical Charlie Kirk speech you'd be seeing, I agree that that's a bit much.

I still don't get why seeing a video of one guy shot to death traumatized you when this kind of thing and much worse happens daily all over the world, but I'm sorry you felt that way. I suppose seeing it makes a difference to some people in some way I fail to understand.

I think the brutality that we all saw this week is truly a turning point that regardless of where the evil is coming from on that spectrum -- transgenderism, Kabbalistic/Satanic, radical left wing, etc. -- it is now being seen as something that needs to be dealt with. Clean house, in essence. A lot of souls are realizing they need to clean their own room, as Jordan Peterson so famously put it. As brutal as Kirk's death is, as awful and terrible as it is for his family, friends, fans, and those of us who knew of him, God can use this to show us what happens when we let evil get a foothold. Not only in our society as a whole, but down to what we allow in our own lives.

Charlie was an "awe shucks" kind of guy -- almost like a Jimmy Stewart persona in "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington". He even sat down with Gavin Newsom of all people and had a talk with him. There was no hate, it was good humor and genuine political discussion.

Charlie didn't set out to hurt, or maim or kill. The exact opposite, and if it required some harsh truths to come out, then so be it. At least they were words and not stones, or knives, or bullets. We need truth in a time of lies. It's a revolutionary act, as Orwell would say. Charlie is a casualty of the lies -- that men can be women, that we need to bomb Iran, and so on. He was on his own path of figuring out how deep the rot goes -- I wish I could say I was as smart and as aware as he was at the age of 31.

Kudos to Charlie for having the ear of the president and telling him that going after Iran was a bad idea, even against the wishes of his donors and angering them. That takes courage, knowing there might be financial fallout from standing up and doing something about it. Charlie may have saved thousands of American men, and even more Iranians by that lone act of courage. God bless him. God bless the peacemakers.

In Charlie's case, Mr. Smith did go to Washington, and he was murdered for doing so. He may have lost his material life here on earth, but how many souls will be saved because they see what his life stood for now? I hope this is a good turning point for America. May his memory be eternal!

Ok. We get it. You don't get it.

But people ascribe value and symbolism to others and that's why it connects. A household name for everyone here was Charlie Kirk. Thus we connected with him.

I'll give you another example for you to understand since there's a disconnect.

I've ran over many dogs and shot a couple also... But if someone killed one of my dogs, particularly one i have had for a long time I would be very very upset.

That makes sense. I never followed Kirk and from the little I knew about him, probably didn't agree with him much. Probably best not to get into that for now.

It's not healthy to watch gore videos, imo. I always avoid it when I can. There's nothing tough or masculine about being desensitized to death and human suffering.

Agree about seeking out that kind of thing. Very bad. For example, I was out of the room when Joe Theisman's career ending injury happened and stayed out of the room because I didn't want to see it, and I've still never seen it. I imagine I could find the video online if I wanted to but why would I.

On the other hand it's hard for me to understand why seeing Kirk shot or just hearing about it makes a difference. It might be just me but it feels like being blissfully unaware of the nature of this world.

Here again....

Death that connects to someone people know is impactful.

When you drive by a car wreck with a fatality you don't connect mutch, but if someone you knew got killed by a drunk driver you'd absolutely connect.
