2024 Election Lounge

I have very capable people.

We will probably never see a campaign or candidate for president like this again. The euphoria of victory night in 2016 that we experienced here. The disappointment of 2020... The growth from "where is the pet store" in 2013 to literally morphing into the 'Alt-Right' after DJT's escalator trip in 2015. Then, discovering our ultimate purpose in following our Savior that gave his everything for us. Our collective journey here has been a microcosm for the growth of a man from his indiscretions of youth to his final responsibility. To the end Gentlemen, onward Christian soldiers!

I don't know if any of you frequent forums with a lot of liberals, but they are out of their minds right now. I feel like they can sense a bad outcome. I'm just loving it.
No forums, but I'm surrounded by them IRL and yes, the realization is starting to set in, and it's making some of them act differently. Especially the women.

It's going to be an interesting couple of weeks.

I have very capable people.

That Trump is the best Trump - authentic, honest, and surprisingly humble and relatable. How can you not want this man to be our President again?

Any other politician would've waxed on about how "I don this vest as many of you do every day. I climbed into that truck as the hard-working men and women who built our great nation..." blah blah platitudes.

What does our Orange Man do? He takes off the mask, disarms any criticism that its a stunt by tacitly admitting off the bat, "this is all a big stunt," admits the silliness of it all ("Shit, I have to climb in this thing??"), brings you in on the gag ("We drove about two feet, I got out, got back in my car..."), and reaffirms the joke by making YOU a part of it ("Yeah, they wanted me to wear this stupid vest. I'm like, nawww...but sir, you look thinner. ORLY? F...you got me!").

This is the touch he has. Its something the mainstream media and legacy politicos still don't get. He's not trying to be anyone he's not - he's a flashy NYC city boy rich kid billionaire real estate developer. He doesn't go to the stupid Iowa State Fair in pressed jeans, a plaid shit with the sleeves rolled up and cuffed, sucking on a deep fried Oreo-on-a-stick pretending to eat it and it tasting like 'democracy,' he flies in with his multi-million dollar S-76 and gives kids helicopter rides.

Joe Rogan briefly talked about why the Kamala Harris podcast didn't happen. He obviously did not like the demands or rules from Kamala's staffers because they want to control everything. And he thinks there would be a distraction if Kamala's staffers were in the room - i.e., Rogan heard about the Brett Baier interview where Kamala's staffers waved their hands to stop the interview.

Warning: Language.

If she could do a 3 hour interview uncut alone in a room it would allow everyone to really see what this woman is made of, the fact that she isnt showing up to be interview by the biggest podcaster in the world, live, uncut, is a bad sign, her handlers dont want her there obviously

I don't mind a bet every now and then, but I'm not a regular gambler. I decided to check the odds for Trump in Australia. I figure it might be worth throwing a few bucks at. He was at $1.53, Harris at $2.50. Minutes later Trump was $1.50, Harris at $2.60.

Maybe it says something about the type of Australians who use betting apps, but that's more than I'm willing to spend plus the effort of signing up and making an account just to get a worthwhile return, it shows how sure the Australians are that Trump is WINNING!

Excellent way to put it.

It's how Teflon Don has escaped his "Dukakis tank" moment.

I'm putting money on Kamala to win Pennsylvania. Although, I'd be happy to take a loss on this one.
What's your reasoning? I actually wanted to put money on PA for Trump to win but PredictIt wasn't offering that as a betting market. It seems like to me it's the most likely of the three rust belt battleground states (MI, WI, PA) to flip back towards Trump.

The situation as it stands now, Kamala needs to sweep all three of the battleground rust belt states to win. PA, MI, and WI. Trump wins with just any one of the three. They could rig both Pennsylvania AND Michigan and she still loses if Trump takes Wisconsin, for instance.

And that's not factoring in the real threat of a lean-blue state like VA flipping over to Trump, since she's basically underperforming nationally compared to Biden in 2020.

That's why she's behind the 8 ball here, and the betting markets are the way they are.
