War in Lebanon

Clashes in the Beqaa region.

An Israeli commando force has allegedly been besieged by Ridwan Forces in the Nabi Sheet area of Beqaa.

The sky is reportedly filled with small arms fire in an attempt to thwart the arrival of Israeli reinforcements.

Israel has allegedly issued the 'Hannibal Directive' where no hostages will be permitted. Any captured IDF soldiers will be eliminated.

Report of a separate incident where an IDF group has been ambushed North of Khiam, Southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah statement on the clashes at Nabi Sheet.

A list of 20 Hezbollah operations for March 6th.

There is speculation that the Israeli Commando mission in Nabi Sheet had the objective and was perhaps even successful in recovering the body of 1980s Israeli F4 pilot, Ron Arad. This footage claims to show his grave having been dug up.

There seems to be quite a contradiction between, on the one hand, allegedly issuing the 'Hannibal Directive' to eliminate captured IDF troops, and on the other, risking the lives and potential capture of many commandos in order to recover the body of a long-deceased pilot.

IDF commando teams raided a high risk site in Hezbollah controlled territory to retrieve the body of a slain Israeli F4 pilot that was captured and perished over 40 years ago. Israel had intel that the remains of pilot Ron Arad were buried in a cemetery in the Beqaa Valley so an op was launched to retrieve his remains, they (apparantly) didn't find him. All the cowboy stories about downed helos that came later are fluff, there were no clashes and all casualties came from Israeli strikes that covered the commando units.

The Israelis have reportedly sent another 15 helicopters with commandos to Nabi Sheet. Are they searching for the Ark of the Covenant?

Handala has been posting they were close to him.

Israeli Channel 12: Despite one year of airstrikes, highly equipped Hezbollah guerrilla units are successfully operating South of the Litani River.

An unconfirmed report than Israel is attempting to coerce the Lebanese government to deploy the army against Hezbollah. This, in exchange for Israel not flattening Lebanon's infrastructure, and the possibility of peace talks. Commenters say there are a lot of Shias in the army, and it would fall apart if given that order.

This is a weird frame, the Lebanese government is by is own law, UN resolution and several multilateral agreements mandated to disarm Hezbollah. After the 2024 War, which ended in a strategic defeat for Hezbollah and finished its role as kingmaker in Lebanese politics, both UNIFIL and the Lebanese agreed to disarming Hezbollah - a ceasefire condition Hezbollah itself agree to as well.

The new Aoun-Nawaf government is heavily anti-Hezbollah and has put forward a strict timeline on the disarmament, as stipulated in the September 2025 Five Point Roadmap. This framework orders Hezbollah to hand over its weapons to Lebanese state institutions, break its foreign ties and turn itself into a politics only entity.

This ceasefire was imposed on Netanyahu by DC, Bibi wanted to finish off Hezbollah in 2024 already. Israeli always expected Hezbollah duplicity and the latter's tendency to non-compliance was already proven in 1989, 2006 and 2008. Add to that 2024 and that's 4 written Hezbollah broken assurances that it would disarm its militia.

This current bout will not see such leniency from Tel Aviv. Hezbollah is a husk of its former self, and is yet again getting slapped around. Netanyahu has the greenlight from DC as especially special envoy Tom Barrack has grown tired of Hezb games, and tacitly the Aoun government want to see Hezbollah finished off as well.

This scenario reads familiar. There is currently an evacuation order in place for many parts of Southern Lebanon, and per usual the Shia inhabitants of these towns take refuge in areas belonging to a different sect. Bringing with them armed Hezbollah infiltrators, who use positions within Christian/ Sunni/ Druze villages (which usually do not receive evacuation orders) to target the IDF.

Upon further investigation this incident was no different. Below are the explanations of Kataeb leader Sami Gamayel and LF leader Samir Geagaea. It's a long standing Hezbollah tradition to provoke IDF fire on civilian areas belonging to different sects in order to drag them into their war. Judging by the reactions of near all Christian political leaders/ clergy they have grown wise to these tactics. The Lebanese Armed Forces are notably absent from Southern Lebanon leaving residents on their own.

The only thing good thing coming out of this is that the Christian villages down South have ordered the Shia refugees to immediately leave Christian zones.

Smotrich's son killed by mortar fire on the Lebanese front.

Ben Gvir's house in Israel allegedly hit.

Did a quick search and that's two times fake news. Smotrich's son is in hospital recovering and Ben Gvir's house wasn't hit - there's hardly any Hezbollah rocket fire this time around anyway, they have been stripped down significantly already.

Thirdworldists always were prone to living into their own little padded fantasy land but the current conflict really seems to have pushed them over the edge, what little sanity they had is all gone and it's now full on coo coo land. I personally chalk this up to AI and an abundance of social media slop, they can fully immerse themselves in friendly alternative realities thereby blunting any remaining cognitive skills even further.

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has once again called for Hezbollah to disarm and stated that the group is an Iranian proxy looking to drag Lebanon into a war that's isn't hers. In addition Aoun made a proposal, in return for a stop on Israeli strikes Hezbollah would be disarmed and the Lebanon-Israel normalization process would get started (Abraham Accords).
